The Simbiosa restaurant has great sushi rolls and the best POUTINE!

Excellent welcome and exceptional service. The owner is extremely friendly and has informed us about the essentials of the area. The hotel is spacious, clean, quiet and very well laid out. Restaurant, bar, pool table, several hammocks and access to a kitchen to prepare its own food. I highly recommend this place. I had some memorable moments there.

Great atmosphere, I would love to go back!

Was there about 2 months ago and the place was amazing, we had to extend our stay. Only a small walk from a beautiful waterfall and fairly close to the beach. There is a small store near by but I strongly suggest eating in, the chef is amazing with his beautiful singing and wonderful cooking skills. Lovely place and I cant wait to go back.

The Tucan Hotel its the best place in Uvita to stay, relax, meet interesting people and have a great experience of pura vida "life style"
There are plenty of choices around and the Hotel its really well placed (near the bank, supermarket, restaurants and in between the best beach in the world and an amazing river with a waterfall). Apart from that the Hotel offers you many different services as bar, laundry, snorkeling equipment, bike rental and all the support you might need as a traveller ready to find and explore new adventures.
The rooms are really nice, hot shower for everyone, a huge and renovated community kitchen, an amazing garden, the best breakfast service, fast internet and the best staff ever!
The vibe its amazing and I really recommend all of you to stay there and enjoy Uvita (for me the best spot all over costa rica)! All the best for all of you! I will be back for sure for more adventures!

Very cozy Hostel with pool, hammocks and interesting fauna. They have dog, cat and now bird. Clean rooms, free coffee and a deal more than. Well. The only downside is that the bungalows are nothing intimate.

Highly recommend. Great location, food and staff! Spread the word.

Super cool hostel/hotel/bar restaurant, great location, prices, staff. Restaurant was closed, but there are many nearby dining options in Uvita, including supermarkets. Love the hammocks, and the jungalos.

The owners, Emma and Miguel are excellent people, the cook does wonders in the kitchen and they have an excellent location. I would recommend it, excellent prices and a nice atmosphere.

Very nice place to get a drink even if you aren't a guest. The receptionist/bar tender was super helpful and friendly.

I booked a small private room with bathroom. Very simple and dark and very loud. A bit smelly. Mattress very bad. No closet. Overpriced with 50 Dollars in high season. 25 Dollars would be a correct price for this kind of room.

A hostel, for me, it is a hostel, I expect we could enjoy the evening. But the owner refuses that it can make, exceed 23 h. It was playing card and she came to us screaming after because we were making too much noise. The inn is beautiful and pleasant in the day, but wait you not enjoy yourself in the evening. The owner is the fun of the day, but not in the evening. I don't comment usually, but this evening has been spoil because of his unnecessary intervention.

I liked the hotel; It is economical and well cared for by all employees.

Definitly the place I would recommend for a stay in Uvita. The rooms are cosy and the bathrooms are clean. I was in the dooroom and it was very comfy! The restaurant food is delicious! They also make very nice cocktails ;)
Emma and Miguel, the owners, always had very good recommendations for places to visit around and they are very friendly people and very welcoming. I personnaly had a really great time there. GO say Hi you won't regret it! Marine.

The best place we stayed in all of Costa Rica. Felt like home, hammocks and good music everywhere. Amazing homemade food (try the bread) the owners are some of the nicest/coolest people we met. Definitely would recommend staying here if you are anywhere at all near uvita! ✨-sophie & greg.

A good backpackers option.

The hostel is really comfy, the environment is nice as the people working there. The position is perfect: few minutes far from the beach, next to a supermarket, in front of a restaurant, in case the one in the hostel cannot satisfy your cravings (improbable but still…). The star missing is just because as a young traveller you might want to party during the night (instead of "disfrutar el dìa", how the Ticos say) but since the rooms are in two lines facing each other, you will disturb the other customers if you do so. So basically after the sunset, you should quietly retire in your own room. This can be an advantage, of course, if you are traveling with children or you want some calm privacy during your stay: then this place deserves 5 stars because you'll find all the quiet you need.

Looks amazing, didnt sleept there but I needed help and lady from reception really helped me fix my problem in 9pm.

The staff here is amazing! Perfect friendly spot for backpackers and others as well.

No lockers in the dorms. Tiny smelly rooms. Rude and unhelpful staff (except the owners) — even while speaking Spanish. Good location for the waterfall (10min walk) and buses but far from the beach (30min walk).

Awesome experience in the treehouse! Claudio was an excellent host. Quiet property close to everything in Uvita.

A family hostel, clean and tidy. All very helpful. In addition very close to amenities (supermarket, bus, panaderie). Would do it again.

Great place his own both and nice's places of encounter with this friendly space in the Center is great with this little kitten is so cute ;-).

Very good care and the environment. I lived in uvita x 5 years and work in this place is very relaxing, very good I recommend it.
