Very affordable place but great location… not luxurious at all… but does the job.

Excellent cheap hostel. Friendly staff, clean rooms, pool, breakfast, Wi-Fi, parking, air-conditioning. Kitchen for self catering is useful. Great location for the Manuel Antonio National Park. We bought a team of 20 here and were very happy. Do not be put off by the busy front entrance; this place is very tranquil. Beautiful views from the pool area. Recommended.

Great place, Amazing Staff… beautiful place to stay in my own opinion, you can try it see what you think… + They have Horses, Cows and other animals and part of the beach belongs to them, have a bless day in Quepos, Costa Rica.

The place is very nice and the care is the best, always super friendly, the receptionist helped us a lot to know which places to visit and the breakfast was super rich with an amazing view, definitely I will come back in addition to the price and the location are very good.

I took an acid and some crack with a homeless man in the pool. 10/10 no security tho, that man could have killed me.

Lovely place, so many option to stay, activities and food options, a must if you are in Costa Rica.

I would describe this place as a "mini-hostel". Perfect for backpackers, or those on a budget. It could be described as a restaurant that discovered it could rent out the extra building they have on property. Not too many frills on the place, and a very informal feel. For the price you get a bed, access to a small kitchen and Bathroom. Additionally, outside of the building there's a small patio/garden area with tables and chairs and a place to hang your wet clothes too. The restaurants attached to it had good seafood, and their smoothies had a great taste as well.

Hotel facility and location is good. But the manger will want extra money and force you to pay that without a receipt. So when other hotels are booked and you are already at the location, it's that or nothing.

Relax site to stay and an excellent price!

Anyone looking for a hostel with good common areas and cheap is your choice. The views from the pool are stunning.
The rooms have a. C. And they're clean.
Next door there are restaurants and supermarkets much better to sleep in Manuel Antonio than in Quepos as I did the previous night.

Nice and clean hostel with a good breakfast consisting of fruit and pancakes. The facilities are clean and there are lockers in all dorms. There is no comfortable common area to hang out and meet people only a few tables in the breakfast/kitchen area.

It is ideal to see nature. Animals surround you sometimes. Monkeys, deer, birds in general, iguanas, and hopefully some other species. Great beaches. It may take a little more essential services to facilitate the tourist a better stay, but in general it is one of the best parks in the country.

It looks quaint from outside. Wi-Fi ok. Food ok. Rooms smell, mold on walls and ceilings in bathroom, leaky shower head and drain not working right. Old decor/furnishings. Best thing is location, location! Less than 0.25 miles from entrance to Manuel Antonio park and just slightly more than that to beach, downtown area, restaurants, shopping, bus stop. So close to park we could hear the howler monkeys each night. Could use some TLC.

Comfortable, pleasant and economical place. They offer pool 24 hours and even after check out they allow you to go, use the pool and bathe.

Good space, excellent attention, has private rooms, nice at a good price ideal for those who enjoy knowing places without spending much.

I liked the space, where it is built, immersed in nature. Missed a good breakfast and the cleanliness of the place is very poor.

This hotel was absolutely the worst experience I've had in Costa Rica thus far! ABSOLUTELY WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! The manager arranged a bus for me, told me to be at the hotel at 1:00PM and by 2:30 a different bus came and he refused to let me go on that one because he already arranged for another bus. By 3:00PM, still no bus in sight. I waited outside with my luggage and never heard an apology, was not offered water or any sign of sympathy or offered any of my money back. When I said I was getting frustrated I was waiting instead of exploring the town or on the road, he smiled smugly and said it's not his problem and went back to his office. For a country that survives on hospitality, this was a HORRIBLE treatment. Over priced, the place felt dirty and horrible hospitality. Would never recommend to anyone.

Best hostel I have been to in Costa Rica • Staff: excellent service! • Facilities : super clean kitchen and bathrooms with hot water, free towels are provided! Coffee is free every morning and there is a pool • Dorm: extremely comfortable beds that actually don’t smell like mould. You also have a privacy curtain and your own electricity outlet next to our bed. Hostel entrance little hard to find but it’s right between the ticket box office and a small travel agency that offers tours. Hidden behind a large white gate that says Hostel Manuel Antonio by National Park. They currently still have free parking. The two main receptionists aka the spirits of the hostel were extremely cool and helpful guys. Jeremy is a gem he knew the answer to every question and always gave a little extra to help. If you wanna chill or party, Arnold is your man! More to come …

GREAT pool, wonderful view. Really laid-back little place. It's not visible from the road and you have to go down a flight of stairs, around a path, past the kitchen area, and keep on going down the hill. You'll see signs that say "el change bar". Keep going until you see the pool at the bottom. It's simple and small but the view is amazing, and there's a bar down there too. The bar is only open intermittently, so bring your own drinks and snacks. You probably won't see another person, which is pretty awesome if you ask me :)

Fairly basic hostel in a great location. You're right on the main route to the beach and/national Park so you can grab the public bus or taxies to most touristy places fairly cheap. The price is right and the staff is helpful and always around. Two stars off for a bed that's seen better days and make sure you're a heavy sleeper — being on the main road is a huge plus in the day but it is loud at night.

It's a paradise on Earth.

If you have to come here, visit the Mexican place above it. There are no safes in the rooms that actually work, staff was rude. The view is amazing and breakfast is included. A little ways away from everything else.

Location was good. Room wasn't. Bathroom got broken and after they fixed it they didn't clean up around and you couldn't stand the smell anymore. No warm water in the room. No small fridge either. Staff were helpful and friendly.

Location is great just outside Park entrance and public beach. Rooms quiet and clean. Huge iguana outside our door each day :)
