A very nice place, quiet and familiar.

It is the best thing I have visited especially for two reasons, the cleaning of rooms, sheets and everything that is bedding, impeccably clean, beautiful, will not regret, beautiful 5 star room with refrigerator, microwave, coffe way, screen and allow a pet and of course not aggressive.
I've been hearing the congo monkeys and you can hear them nearby, you look at a river of crystal clear water, tomorrow I'll explore but believe me that the place is great and you don't look that outside, try it and you'll be very happy and you'll come back.
I don't think I'll change it anymore.

Excellent service, attention and beautiful place.

We booked this hostel because we thought it is a little more quite than the other hostel. We got very disapointed. Our room was just next to the bar so we had loud music all day long. They told us to stop the music at 10pm but they never did. I think the earliest was 10:30. Our room smelled very bad and everything looked old and used. It was absolutely not comfortable. The staff is also not the friendliest. Maybe if you get another room which is nice and not as loud you can have a nice stay but unfortunately we couldn't enjoy it at all.

A very friendly place with mostly young crowd. The bartender was cheery and really helpful with suggestions for local eats. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed the hammocks and pool. We had a garden room so we could just rest inside while watching them play outside. There's a good size kitchen area with fridge to prep and cook your own food. A couple of cons for us were that they didn't provide actual comforters or blankets of any kind. There's only thing cotton sheets to cover yourself on the bed. Since the weather isn't cold at all, this is fine but we like to have something thicker than a sheet over us. Also a plastic shelf in the shower area would be convenient to store shampoo etc when bathing. Maybe it was just our room but there was nothing on the walls to even keep a bar of soap. But for the super duper price I guess these aren't big issues. Overall a warm and friendly place with low cost rooms but if you're looking for something 3-4 star, then find other places.

Great location Well, it's a youth hostel so there's noise and music up to a certain time. Don't go there if you want to be quiet. But otherwise, great place, they will help you book for the activities that there are around (we did the excursion around the volcano + thermal baths, transportation and dinner included. That was awesome! ) We had a private room with King bed but dormitories are also available.

Location and cleanliness good, room and pool are also OK.
However, the staff only wants to sell overpriced activities also on questions of other possibilities you get no answer or even false statements that it is not possible or not allowed without a guide or booking.
This has annoyed us a bit and we know from other hotels differently.

If you want a party hostel, this is your stay. Pros: spacious and clean dorm rooms and washrooms. Hot shower! Dorm rooms have balconies. Hostel can easily book you on tours and organise shuttles. Staff mostly friendly. Good location. Restaurants all around. Cons: main receptionist (young female) quite rude and spoke badly about guests in front of their faces in Spanish. Beds were not comfortable.

To avoid it absolutely if you want to sleep… the rooms are next to the bar… music and screams guaranteed. Good night!

Stayed here last winter. Amazing, friendly, and courteous staff. Accommodations are decent for the price you pay. Nice little pool and bar and snack bar. Felt super safe.

I thought this place was great. Good showers, pool, and bar. However when I was there they did happen to book 11 people in a 10 person dorm. Otherwise it's a nice place, clean with good drinks!

Amazing location in the heart of La Fortuna. You can easily access the main square, and main roads of town. They own many properties across Costa Rica, and 3 in La Fortuna. We stayed in the "hostel" area with a small pool, hammocks hung throughout and a wonderful bar. All of the staff is beyond helpful and friendly. They gave us great prices on shuttles and tours throughout the country. Whether you're staying with them along the way or not. Our double room, with private bath was quiet and clean. The bed wasn't great, but better than most hostels! The property was very safe and secure. All the guests were more than respectful at all times!

Central Hostal in luck. Room was very nice The only advice not to get the rooms above the pool/bar. For the rest advisable.

Super nice Hostel with free Yoga Hours and other Activities. There is a Hot Water Pool as well as a normal Pool. The Room was very nice and clean with adjoining Bathroom. The Staff is nice and helpful and in the evening after the Pool Bar is closed you can celebrate even further with the Staff. Breakfast was available at a neighboring Restaurant at a fair Price (Buffet for $7, 000). It doesn't get Any Better than that!

Good place to stay in Arenal/ La Fortuna. It was raining all the time when we stayed so we went for rafting and hot springs. They had issues with the first 2 bed private room that was given to us. After complaining, they moved us to third floor. Guys in the reception were super friendly; hopefully girls will pick up something from them. Anyways all 4 stars goes to the security guard who helped us when hostel management had party and we got locked out on balcony. This guy went above and beyond to unlock us. Awesome people in general in Costa Rica.

Good hostel! Super beautiful with gardens and pools! In low season $9 us for a good price dorm! The only negative is the mattress it is not too comfortable!

Great experience, you MUST ask the front desk for tours they offer the very best pricing. Even cheaper than going to the place itself. For the price. Big TV, confortable bet, hot water shower and air conditioner. Not a 5 star hotel, but a confortable stay is granted.

The staff here is amazing. They are so nice. Rooms aren't bad either, very clean and hospitable facility.

Nice hotel and very accommodating staff! Carlos always worked his butt off to make sure we were taken care of and the food was always good. Wifi didn't always work in the room, but did by the front office. Its a little outside of La Fortuna so its about a $8 cab ride to town, but it was a nice and quiet location.

This place was cute, quiet and comfortable. The only thing I didnt like is about my departure which was included. We were misinformed about the time we were getting picked up and we were also dropped off ridiculously early at the airport. Like 5 hrs. That was annoying. Besides that I would highly recommend this place!

The rooms were very minimalist in a good way. The service and hospitality was second to none. It is about a 5-10 minute and $7 taxi ride from LA Fortuna. My wife and purchased a Groupon for our honeymoon and now can't wait to return.

Section a little, but good rates. The restaurant does not is nothing special, or the swimming pool. I have to pay to use the pool.

I am fully satisfied we have been well taken care of. Very nice for a family.

We stayed at this place for 3 nights. It's not a five star hotel and needs some work, but the service provided was a five stars. The owner Mario was so good to us. He had lined up all of the activities for us and it worked out well for us. The staff is wonderful and OMG the river on the property was amazing! We loved it. Thank you Mario. Zain Maredia.

Fatal. Chose this hotel, it clarified q that is what q is less hotel.! as a wedding gift the misleading advertising attracted me, when we arrived the stage was another Room smelly, the health service is I infuse because of the rain, control of the TV is not served, the chairs of the swimming pool q is a dirt, full of black ants in the breakfast the same thing with a fatal fresh melon, and for riveting with a flourish the young maintenance we opened the door of the room when we were trying to rest. With all this tragedy lived gave me a strong bad stomach which was my surprise q there was no toilet in the bathroom, and reception was closed at 10pm fortunately my husband had a little in the car. Blessed honeymoon unnn thanks to a misleading advertising mark a star to be able to discuss my bad experience but in rating daria 0 is lousy.

Very bad attention arrived had to wait 30 min because the reception boy was bathing at 11 am, in the offer to purchase they offered lunch or tour (which upon arrival they say that it was a mistake and do not give tour), very rough and dirty water pool in addition which at night is filled with frogs in the water and not cleaned it.
In the rooms arrives very little water (rectified to them 9 am is was completely the water) and by ende the showers not heated, the air conditioning smells to humidity and not cools nothing, not there are cloths for bathing is.
The mini fridge was dirty and smells of stale beer.
Only there 2 people attending all over the place.

Good attention by the owner Mario at the front desk. He gave to us some really good choices for tours and Hot springs. But things didn't result so well talking about rooms and facilities at the hotel. Really deteriorated pool and restaurant areas, rooms are really small and the bathrooms kinda dirty. Definitely is a cheap place and perfect for people that just look for a place to sleep and spend the whole day out.
