We have stayed there 4 nights. Great staff, always helpful, speaking good english. Locations is awsome, just 2-3 min walking distance to Jokhang Temple. Many restaurants in the area. Rooms were ok, nothing special. Nice dinning area at the rooftop with Potala Palace view.

Wonderful place. My first hotel in Tibet. Go onto the roof from the restaurant and view Lhasa including the Potala Palace! Penny at reception is very friendly and helpful, a native English speaker (American? ). Good room and shower. Stonethrow from the Barkhor. Best location. I loved the Tashitakge!
