I have stayed here before and always have good stays. This time is the same. I happened to get a corner room so I fully enjoyed the room.

The staff in this hotel are amazing! I highlight a few who stood out: Tyler at the front door took excellent care organizing our transportation. He went above and beyond. He organized our day trips and it was so comfortable. Vagrent Fu was incredible, especially when we were stranded in the heavy rains in the market and needed to get back to the hotel because I had to teach at the university. I was afraid I was going to be late. But thanks to him he organized a car to pick us up and bring us back safely and early. Lingus Warren offered a great experience in the dining spots throughout the hotel. And made great recommendations for other dining options even going so far as making reservations for us. Aside from that the hotel was beautiful, very clean and spacious.

I live in the world on each of the different five-star hotel. But the Chengdu Shangri-La Hotel is to my mind the most special one. Here I found every employee attentive and serious attitude, especially Vivien's. She treats me the feeling, like I was her family and Friends, let my heart feel warm, just like back home like feeling. And in my special request, she went all out for me to complete. Not only that, in every into out of time, I From next to observation she treats each and every guest, the kind of modest and serious working attitude, is completely unique. Vivien is a rare special staff, the Chengdu Shangri-La Hotel with the hotel services of the new milestone.

Great hotel! Jessica Cao welcomed me upon arrival at the hotel. She is warm, friendly, meticulous, and went the extra mile to help me settle down in the hotel. She gave me directions on where to go for meals, and helped me get familiarized with the various amenities within the hotel. This is an exemplary example of a passionate service staff. I also enjoyed the piano performance at the lounge at nights and went there for three consecutive days. Food at the restaurant was also great, and I really loved the ambience.

We had a fabulous time staying in your hotel. Our time in Chengdu were really blessed with the attentiveness and caring service from your team at the horizon club as well as the concierge. We would like to thank specially Sophia at the Horizon Club for taking the extra mile and caring service attitude when she knew of my husband's stomach discomfort and Meng for his help throughout our stay. Also thanks to Chris and Tyler at the Concierge for helping us to plan our itineraries to get around Chengdu and obtained the JinJiang Theatre Show tickets. Our experience at Chi were one of the best. Thanks to The Spa manager as well as the therapist Ada and Helen.

Horizon Pavilion Rosa, Yvonne, Owen, Wu Lingqiao, Li Xuanping, as well as Rong Coffee Zhongfengyang, fitness center Bayu are very professional, service in place. Thank them very much.

Room cleaning staff is not serious, often forget to replenish daily consumables Restaurant every day is those, live a week to eat can not bear, fruit is always so few.

I have stayed at your Chengdu Shangri-La location several times over the last few months. I have always found the accommodations extremely comfortable and the staff exceptionally accommodating. A couple of the staff members stood out on my most recent trip. Upon check-in, my room wasn’t quite ready because of how busy the hotel was. Vivien was very quick to offer refreshments and a comfortable place to lounge while she worked to get my room ready as quickly as possible. She should be commended on her exceptional customer service! Also, upon check-out, Eric was quick to greet with a warm smile and to ensure I had everything accounted for on my departure. I sincerely appreciated their assistance and attention during my stay as they made my experience in Chengdu such a pleasure! I look forward to my next trip to your beautiful hotel.

Hotel's greeting host, front desk and restaurant staffs are very friendly and helpful. The lobbies have a good and lively vibe. Location is great. Rooms are clean. Had a wonderful staying experience.

My recent stay at Shangri-La Chengdu was excellent. Yvong, Elena and all the 36F Horizon Club staffs were great! I am especially impressed with the detail and attentiveness they provide to make guests feel at home. Food and drinks provided were first class. The only complaint I have is the slightly dated decor and furniture of my suite. I am sure this can be improved easily. I will definitely come back to this hotel for its people and service and location!

This one-time stay is very much appreciated, three days from the departure, Mr. Chris of the concierge has detailed suggestions and recommendations on our itinerary and descriptions of the various attractions. Also very grateful for breakfast, Miss He Jing on the elderly in the choice of bread teeth soft hardness of the proposal. At the same time, I also thank the 27th noon left the hotel, Miss Jessica help the elderly carry luggage and support the elderly on board. This time staying experience, really is full of thanks.

For the price I paid for the one room with 2 beds I booked for my family… Areas needs improvement: 1. The room is not as roomy as I expected with 2 twin beds. 2. No stationary amenity for desk. 3. The elevator was not secure for guests… there was slot to read the key in the elevator but it was not required. I do appreciate. 1. The varieties of foods at breakfast. 2. Very impressed with the fitness center that has wide varieties of equipment, also jacuzzi tub, steam room and sauna. The staff was very attentive and informative. 3. Good exchange rate at the desk and nice staff. 4. Very quick response to fix clogged toilet.

The hotel is very nice and the staff are accommodating especially the concierge Tyler and his team. The location is excellent. The breakfast buffet was average. Spa is beautiful. Gym is very nice with an amazing indoor pool.

Thank you very much for the introduction of Deng Wanxia reception, let us feel very happy with the warmth. Her careful and thoughtful so that my friends and children are very happy!

The hotel was spacious and the rooms as well. Staff were friendly and helpful with all your needs. I only wish there were more variety of Halal food in their restaurants.

We were very happy with our stay at Shangri-la. I would like to particularly thank one of your staff, Tyler Wong, for going beyond the call of duty. We were wanting to purchase some Sichuan pepper corns, and didn't know where to go. Instead of just giving us advice, he promised to arrange the whole thing. He found a place, went and made the purchase, and gave us exactly what we were looking for. What a difference that level of service made. I will definitely recommend your hotel!

Higher-end luxury hotel in Chengdu China on the river in the central business district. Great location close to the best areas for nightlife and eating. Very large and well-equipped swimming pool, gym, and locker area. Friendly hotel staff. Generally clean and up-to-date rooms and common areas. Wi-Fi is okay but not as fast as it should be. Room service takes about 30 minutes and the quality and presentation are very good. The spicy dumpling dish is especially noteworthy.

Excellent room service. Is consistently provided. The breakfast is amazing. Your gym facilities including 24 hour availability give me something to look forward to everytime I come back. A special thanks to our Duty Manager, Vivien Pang, and our Chief Concierge, Vagrent Fu, for their outstanding service and warm reception. I always feel so welcome at check in. I love your location.

Very nice Hotel, serviced, in the center of Chengdu well connected to all the places to visit in the city.

I was SO impressed with this hotel! The quality of the room, cleanliness, workout facilities, and most of all, the service was phenomenal! So far the best hotel that I stay at in my travels with United Airlines. Thank you for a wonderful stay! Specifically, Jayenne Li ushered us through the check-in process and made me feel incredibly welcome. The hot tea served during the process was a very nice touch. Jayenne was very sweet and gracious and spoke great English. Thank you for providing such a wonderful workout facility! The pool is the nicest hotel lap-pool that I have ever experienced, and I used it frequently while there. Also, the breakfast buffet was out of this world and had an AMAZING array of choices of food. The servants were all so helpful and polite as well. Finally, I want to give HUGE kudos to my friendly maid whom unfortunately I have no name for. She always greeted me with a smile and was SO willing to serve. She quickly replaced the office chair in my room (2611) when I pointed out to her that it was broken. She was so sweet and cheerful every day that I saw her that I just wanted to give her a big hug! Please pass on my thanks to her. Again, thank you for the wonderful experience… was the highlight of my trip to China. I now would like to fly to Chengdu more often just for the hotel quality!

Location is good, rooms are a bit dated. TV (probably the same TV that was installed when the hotel was built) did not work well at all. The restaurant on the ground floor has the best Indian food that I have ever had in China. The executive lounge does a good spread for breakfast. The bathrooms are big but the lack of basic items such as toothpaste meant that I had to go to go and purchase some. The rooms are well heated, we had interconnecting River View rooms on the executive floor and you get a nice view with that.

You have a top class property but what makes it really stand out is your staff. Please send my special thanks to Yvonne Liu who always makes sure my stay is special. She even brought me a cake on my birthday. I would also like to thank Benita, Vera Luo, Penney and Hebe who also took special care of me on the 37th floor. Please also recognize Melvin Kong your executive chef who took the time to speak with me and make me a special order of dumplings at Cafe Z. What a nice guy :)

It was a wonderful stay, from all points of view. The hotel itself is really up to the expectations, and the staff made me feel at home. One special Thanks to Jason who helped recovering my lost luggage from the airport, and always assisted during my stay; to everyone at the counters, for their patience and kindness every time I needed to extend my reservation, and of course to the people at the gym, who always greeted my daily visits with a warm smile and professional support.

It was an amazing stay. Yaner and Yvonne were so friendly and helpful. They even arrange a birthday cake for my celebration in the Horizon Club. All complementary. It was a memorable stay. The rest of the staff couldn't be nicer or more professional. The Cafe Z staff is also amazing and the food for breakfast and lunch is great.

Hejiang Pavilion the best location, go out is Po point, opposite is Jiuyangqiao, basically witnessed the Chengdu night spend # Place, the lobby of Zhou Chunya painting do not miss.

Everything is good as usual except the rooms need furnishing as it appears to be quite old. Service at the lounge on 2/f requires further training on their politeness. Front desk staff Zhang Ting was very nice, professional and welcoming.

Beautiful hotel and very friendly staff. Highly recommended.

Modern and relax place to stay.

Great place, downtown. There are a lot of restaurants and pubs nearby! The room is huge, everything is very clean. The staff are friendly. Breakfasts are just a crazy selection of dishes from different cuisines of the world, including. Of course Chinese)

Does not have a shoe horn. Asked for one and they do not have. The oddest part is that my 1 week stay is like spot pricing for the room charges depending on their occupancy rates, experience this for the first time.

Stayed here for a conference. Pretty perfect really. Rooms very well provisioned. Did not try much else out.

Maybe the best hotel in chengdu. But is the bottom one of Shangeri-la group. Room is good, location is good, service is not excellent as a 5 starts.

Modern hotel with comfortable rooms and great buffet breakfast. Centrally located in Chengdu. Excellent hotel!
