Stayed here for more than a month, overall it's not bad. Common areas are clean and tidy, plenty of space to work on your laptop or chill with friends. You get your own sink in the room. Coffee vending machines in the lobby and kitchen. Grocery stores, Provigo & Metro under a 10 minute walk. Only complaint was the bed which was too hard. Pro tip: music room with pianos available for reservation if you're looking to kill some time.

Basic rooms are very basic, but the rooms with private bathrooms are great. Glad I was able to upgrade my room during my stay!

The setting is beautiful! The university is pristine and clean in the Summer, can't say about the winter though. The rooms are very small and are furnished very basically, with some amenities provided, but not many. It's very cramped and dark in the rooms, would not recommend spending a lot of time inside, but outside is great!

I was very pleased with my stay here. There was no line for me to check in, and the woman who helped me spoke English well. My room took a bit of effort to find, but it was clean and comfortable. There wasn't a private bathroom, but I did not mind that too much. The main problem I had was the thin walls that made noise on the hallway very unpleasant. In general, I found this place to be very convenient to city sites (the 800/801 bus takes you right to the center of town with very frequent service) and good quality for the low price I paid. As a recent college graduate, this was great for what I was looking for.

Small but good for a brief overnight stay. Everything was clean and ready when I checked in.

All inclusive student rooms at competitive prices. Major advantage: proximity of the courses. Cons old rooms and low soundproofing.

The rooms are small for the price, but the ambience is warm and welcoming for the people here and elsewhere!

Cheap. But the sink stink the pee. Room too narrow. The place is far from everything.

I spent several months living there and it was very nice, as much for comfort, even though the rooms are small, they are relatively customizable. The floor was very clean very little noisy. It all depends on the floors of course. The only inconvenience was the way of making Arabs harassing women.

Perfectly planned and we'll equipped residences for University students, complete with all necessary facilities to ease the stay of students at Laval University.

Great value for money, cosy. However be advised that check out is at 11am and at least on Sunday the reception opens at 12. So you won't be able to give your luggage for storage before 12am your last day of staying. This might jeopardize your last day of holiday in Quebec.

I strongly advise future students who want to succeed in renting a room, extremely noisy, I have to call the security service every night because we scream, whistle and sing outside every night until the wee hours of the morning. The rooms are very small, much more than it seems in the photos. The beds are camp beds, I don't know anyone who manages to have a good night's sleep, it is very difficult to study there so much the desk is compact, the drawers of the dresser have 6 inches in height and opens very badly. I had to do several repairs since I arrived and the staff starts to be condescending and no longer smiles. The kitchen stinks and is often very dirty. It is not advisable to feel the inside of the washer, depending on who has done its washing before. I wouldn't talk about the hallways that smell of sweat, really unpleasant, just like the receptionist. Holes appear in the walls when it's hot. When you say that you are not satisfied, you are offered to cancel your lease so they are detached and full, anyway there is a waiting list. Apart from the rent the prices are exorbitant. Ideal for teenagers and foreigners who want to party and do not have a very good hygiene. To be disadvised for serious people who want to do university studies and succeed.

Fantastic rooms and facilities. Kitchen provided no cookware, cutlery or crockery. Not so great for the traveller to use.

Absolutely nothing to complain. For the price I find the facilities to be excellent value. 24-hour checking was convenient and smooth. The rooms were small and basic, but also comfortable. My biggest concern was noise in the building but it ended up being very quiet. Shower and bathrooms were also clean. Towels are provided and a sink is available in each room. Parking was plentiful and without much restrictions. Would stay here again.

Still cost over a hundred dollars per night, and was so hot you couldn't stay in your room. The rooms were small and didn't have any washroom or shower which was ok but then they only had male washrooms on our floor and the floor below so my gf had to go down to the main level to use the female washroom Wich had a urinal in it still or just shower in the guys bathroom in our floor. Had a tough time trying to get laundry done since they needed a student laundry card instead of just using coins.

Came I to Quebec city a d all the hotels were booked except one for 600.00 so we booked the university of Laval two ppl for 1 night was 80.00 steal of a deal! We got in and check out was crazy. The line up alone took 1 he they gave us a map and showed us were our room was. We couldn't find our room as the map was the size of my pinky finger and a student helped us. My broken French and his broken English but at least we found it. The elevator in the building was broken so we carried our stuff up 3 flights of stairs. The room was hotter than hell. Legit barely slept. Between the heat and the noise of it being a dorm and there's drink students slamming doors unroll 5 am. Woke up covered in sweat checked out early and well never be back or recommend this place. Doing Laundry was also hell my boyfriend and I are driving across canada so doing laundry is a necessity. All the Laundry machines but one is set up to take a student card that you out money at on. Thankfully ine machines is coin operated. Problem is finding change. We had to walk three building over to the main building and buy something at their store to get change all the doors lock and you need student card to open the doors so thankfully people took pity on us and let us in as we obviously didn't have a student card.

If you have budget try to avoid the single rooms with shared bathrooms. I arrived early nigh to check in and had to wait at least one hour in line. At the end I found I have to pay more ($59) not $51/per night when booked. They gave me the keys to go and find smelly and dirty room. Most of room light don't work. I went back to change it and have to wait another hour to switch me to another room with no towels, bed covers and so on. If you don't fulfill what you promised why you advertise your residence as three-star hotel. I would give 0.5 star if possible.

Your typical university dorm. Shared bath room. No ac. Cheap and easy for a quick nap. Great for travellers abroad. They need to give more details of this place. Hard time finding the correct building and parking.

Do not comply with the specified schedules of their services. The library was to be opened on Monday from 7 pm to 10 pm but they felt they had better things to do than to come and open it that night. Untrustworthy Service, unpredictable.

Rooms are basic but very clean, as are the restrooms. Easy reachable from downtown Quebec. Great quality to price ratio!

It's small, there is often some smells funny, but otherwise it's still beautiful and except for Fridays and Saturdays, there is not a lot of noise.

The residence is well located on campus, the rooms and bathrooms are clean.

Great for one-two night sleep on a fair price.

Stayed in Pavillon Biermans Moraud. Room was tiny and old. Soundproofing was inexistent, and you could hear every word said by people in the hallway, and each time any door down the hall was closed, a loud "bang" could be heard, regardless of whether the door was slammed or carefully closed. I feel bad for the students who are living there all year. On the bright side, the beds were comfortable; the campus was nice and very well served by public transit.

Stayed here for a conference. Very basic, but clean and with easy access to town. Perfect for young people on a budget.
