This hotel chain knows how to make a room cozy, stylish and welcoming while using every inch of the space in a brilliant way ´. The service at this gorgeous boutique-hotel had always been perfect, and every detail is carefully thought off. The only little thing I would change is adding a pocket door to the entrance of the bathroom because in the current setting; if someone is at the door they could see the person taking a shower in all it’s glory 😬 Food is fantastic and the location even better! You have to go and check if for yourself.

The food was great, the staff was super friendly, the rooms have a nice style. But be careful of the bed base corners. They stick out a bit and are on legs. I stubbed my toes several times in a day. Still, we really enjoyed our stay.

We had an experience beyond our expectations. We even decided to extend our stay. The comfort of the room, the attentive service of all the employees, the quality of the food at the boulevardier restaurant.
A very special mention to Julie who was the starting point of this experience when booking. We will be back at Germain and Alt Montreal on our next Montreal getaway.

No complaints. We didn't pay much and the room was at the expectations of that price point. It's not as close to the old town as I had imagined, but it gave us a reason to walk everyday which was nice.

Fantastic Boutique Hotel. If you love clean, smart design then stay here for sure. Tucked away from busy streets. Close to festivals and shopping. Only star missing was for dining which is limited in the hotel.

Beautiful hotel. Perfect open concept rooms for couples. There are tasty apples left in the hallway on clean fixtures every day by the ladies who clean the rooms. The restaurant is nice, the food is standard. Hotel staff is helpful and very accommodating.

Went for the Jazz Fest. Hotel is a 5 minute walk to TD Stage. Close to St Catherine St. Room was cozy and quiet, but a little warm. We were given a room fan, which helped. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Would stay again.

Outstanding service, flawless hotel experience. Exceptionally clean. The staff are always smiling, kind, and genuinely seem happy to work there. The room was very nicely decorated. It was luxurious and comfortable. My best hotel experience yet. Breakfast was also included, which takes one to-do item of the list when travelling and was much appreciated. The little croissants were delicious.

Great hotel. Very polite and friendly staff. Complimentary breakfast has a great spread, eggs, ham, oatmeal, yogurt, fruit and more. Rooms are clean with a modern design. Comfortable bed as well. Would definitely come back.

Outstanding service. Ibwas waiting outside for a colleague and the buttler came to ofter me a latte and an umbrella. Great staff and facility.

Great location as you can get almost anywhere quickly. The room was great on the pricey side but great. The only downside I would talk about is the included breakfast that was on the cheap side with not a lot of choice.

Located on Mansfield Street in downtown Montreal, this Groupe Germain hotel offers a warm and comfortable ambience, the same attentive and personalized service from one hotel to another. Very satisfying as a stay.

This is a great centrally located well priced boutique hotel. The staff are awesome, the rooms are beautiful and the restaurant amazing. If you can't get into the Ritz Carlton then choose this place. I'll definitely stay here next time I visit Montreal.

This hotel was great! My room was beautiful and clean; the free breakfast was hot and delicious; the location was exactly where we wanted to be! The staff here were a dream to work with. We happened to stay on the coldest days of December (-25°) and they were helpful boosting the temperature of the room. 10/10 would stay here again!

Beautifully modern hotel. Right in the heart of downtown Montreal. The room was beautiful, and they had a complimentary nespresso machine, which is always a bonus! The staff was friendly too. The only problem was that our thermostat in our room wasn't working and it got pretty cold at one point (we stayed there in the winter). But the staff worked very hard to get it fixed and eventually the temperature went up and our room was very comfortable. Overall a good hotel, I would go back again!

Great service! We have stayed at le Germain in Toronto and it's great to know the same exceptional service has carried over to the Montreal location. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. This would be the only place I would stay at while visiting Montreal. Also metro and downtown are all walking distance.

Good location with welcoming staff. Modern rooms that fit the brand. One less star as the room is not as good as the Toronto Le Garmain. Having said that they are still at the top of thier game.

Positive: The staff in this hotel is super friendly and extremely helpful. Very impressive. Shower is very nice. Nespresso in each room. Free of charge Negative: The breakfast is very disappointing. Unacceptable for a hotel that charges upwards of 300 dollars for a night. There is no option to pay extra for a better breakfast. I have had much better breakfast in youth hostels. I don't have time in the morning to look around for an alternative breakfast option. This is a deal breaker for me. The carpets in the rooms have seen better times and they look dirty. It is not possible to get the room really dark at night. The wooden blindes don't work well enough because the streetlight is quite bright, which is to be expected in the middle of Montreal. TV remote control is overly complicated. I could not figure out, how to switch on regular TV. Got stuck with Pay TV. Not good. Would I come back to this hotel? Probably not for a business trip.

Location is perfect, with downtown and old Montreal in walkable distance. Also located close to the 747 stop and metro station. Rooms are clean, and were above and beyond our expectations. Would definitely stay here on our next trip.

We stayed for a long weekend trip. The staff were very friendly. Hotel is at a great location downtown, 2-3min walk to the metro station, 10min walk to the Mont Royal park, and a little over a mile from Old Montreal which you can easily get to by the metro. The complimentary breakfast is great with quality food and good selections. Valet parking at 35$ a day. Highly recommend it!

The hotel is central and near shopping areas. But what was most important for us was the high quality of the service, really nice rooms, caring staff. It is a brilliant place to stay just don't have dinner at the hotel!

This hotel was charming and the staff treated us like valued customers. We thought the breakfast that was included was wonderful. Delicious croissants, jams, egg bake, sausage, etc. And of course, wonderful lattes. Each of our rooms were clean and had wonderful, comfortable beds. I would highly recommend this hotel.

It's a beautiful hotel, centrally located. Nice rooms. However, the continental breakfast is incredibly disappointing. I've been to the hotel in Quebec City which does it so much better. Seriously, skip the breakfast and go find better food. Le Germain should be kind of ashamed of the breakfast they put forward today.

Large rooms. Very dark and quiet so you can get a good night's sleep. That said, be prepared to get up at 6am because trucks back up to remove trash & recycling, and the "beep" reversing noises can't be blocked out. Nice restaurant on the mezz level offers a free breakfast, including well made omelettes, fresh fruit and good coffee. Very friendly service. Recommended.

The stay was very pleasant. The room had everything I needed, the staff was very kind and helpful and the breakfast was very delicious. It's also very close to the train station if that's the way you prefer to travel.

I didn't stay here (rather at the Alt), so I can't speak for the room experience but they were nice and hospitable for the conference I attended. We were at a conference room downstairs; the assistance was helpful and punctual when we needed it (deliveries, tech help… which took a while as the TV was broken). There's a nice French vibe with the striped boatneck shirts that the staff wear and their trademark green apple. The catered lunch was average, sandwich not very delicious, although I did like the panna cotta very much. Good planning, until the end — when we were not informed of another party which had the room after us. No chaos there and we promptly left, but notice would have been ideal.

Great boutique Hotel located on the heart of Montreal, very personalised service and they pay great attention to guest needs, ous stay included a continental breakfast that was at par with some of the nicest hotel we previously stayed in, I would strongly recommend this hotel to friends and family.

Absolutely loved this hotel! Really nice, spacious room (I had a king room). Impeccable service from the staff including the concierge, André, who gave me a great recommendation for dinner. It's downtown, so it's a fairly short walk to Old Montréal, Places des Arts, museums, etc. Will definitely stay again!

This is a modern, but cozy hotel in the middle of the city a 5 minute walk from shopping district of Catherine Street. There was a roaring fire in the lobby when we arrived in New years eve along with complimentary champagne as we checked in. The concierge was AMAZING. I sat by the fire at one point and watched him go so far out of his way to get other clients a bottle of wine on NYE — — everything was closed. He gave them a bottle from his own supply. They tried to buy it and to tip him and he refused. He insisted it was his pleasure and all part of the service. He was also very helpful when we wanted to book lunch and dinner on new years day. The modern room was especially nice due to a walk in storage area where we could sort and store our clothes and bags much more easily than in traditional dresser or closets. Since it was snowing it was nice to have an area to take off our wet things before everything the rest of the room. We would stay here again.

We spent 4 night at this hotel. What a fantastic experience! Our room was great, the staff were nice and the complimentary breakfast was lovely. I have nothing but praise for this place.

Very cool. The parking and breakfast is included, which decreases the room bill of $ 60 comparable to other hotels that did not include it. Nespresso coffee included.

Went for our honeymoon. Had a suite. Service was excellent. Room was clean, class, spacious and beautiful. We will definitely go back again.

Great home, beauty everywhere, rooms at the plate. And the table of the Laurie Raphael is an experience out of the ordinary! I'm proud to be Montreal when I discover such talents and skills in the art of well-being and kindness.

No pool. No on site spa. No room service from restaurant at odd hours. I stayed in a basic room which was very small but the layout helped to make it seem bigger. Rooms are super chic and high quality. This place is usually too expensive (for my budget) but all nice hotels seemed to be costly on my trip dates. So, I booked at Le Germain and was glad I did. Definitely recommended and hope to return soon.
