Promise they’ve got wheelchair accessible rooms and they’ve got F-all. I can imagine all the other empty promises.

This is the worst place to stay in Montreal, the property charged my $920 for 4 nights and I did not receive any housekeeping at all in my entire stay. As soon I checked in they explicitly told me that I would receive housekeeping on 3rd day but it was all a lie, The room ran out of everything even shampoo and when I talked to the reception, they had no answers and they made me haul the towel and toiletries to my room. This is the worst hotel stay I ever had, It is a gratified and expensive Airbnb with the worst host ever. Do yourself a favor and do not stay here. If I could give them negative stars I would.

My husband and I paid a fee of $350 to have the room cleaned as the staff assumed that we had smoked in the room when it can be seen that my husband went outside on the surveillance cameras every time.
It's very insulting and these are false accusations!

The Best Western policy for COVID-19 was full refunds, even for non refundable fares. However this hotel wouldn’t work with me to cancel or reschedule. The border between the US and Canada is still closed so there’s no way I could have even arrived there if I wanted to.

Worst bed I have ever slept in as it was collapsing in the centre and as hard as a plank of wood. The view from the room was an office block and very ugly.

Quiet, spacious, comfortable and most of all very clean rooms. This is our third Best Western Hotel for the 2 tours that we booked trough Cosmos and all we can say is that you are great. Good job Keep it up! Highly recommended! Thumbs up.

Staying here for three nights b4 cruising St Lawrence seaway then on down to Tampa Florida, weather maybe a little unsettled! Very comfortable beds, beautifully presented, restaurant good food, cannot find anything to complain about! Thank you Best Western ur the BEST!

Very courteous staff, very good and clean. They are very accommodating, family friendly.

Clean and spacious room with an awesome view. An important thing to point out, is you can only have as many people who are staying in the room, connected to the Wi-Fi. For example, if there are 4 people staying in a room, only 4 devices can be connected to the Internet. We needed to connect 2 laptops to the Internet, but couldn't because of this restriction. However, we spoke to the receptionist and they resolved is issue very quickly. Great Town with a buzzing vibe and a cool French speaking atmosphere!

Stayed there for one night with 11 people; we shared three rooms altogether. Had to find parking separately since we drove a 12-seat van, but the parking spot wasn’t far, and it only costed $7 for 24-hours. Staff was highly professional, and rooms were very clean upon our arrival. Location is great to explore the city. Will definitely be staying here again in the future.

Nice place, clean and central. Right beside McGill University, book stores, restaurants. Short walk the the Mountain. Decent gym. Very nice, helpful staff. Attached to nice cafe with good coffee. Some rooms can suffer from water pipe noises; most don't though. I recommend it.

This is a nice Hotel with recent renovations. The staff is exceptionally nice and efficient. The rooms and accouterments are very good. The restaurant attached to this property is Lebanese; the food is very tasty and the staff is friendly and helpful. When I visit Montreal on business I always try to stay at this hotel. One complaint is that because of it popularity it is not always available. I wish there were more stations available on the TV but the selection is similar in most the hotels in the area.

I met the nicest people at this Best Western. The staff here are incredible! We were in town for a short visit, Oscar & Peter went out of their way to tell us places to see, places to eat… we had wonderful conversations, shared stories and lots of laughs. The concierge was so helpful, calling for cabs, helping us out as it rained every day. The room was immaculate, modern, super comfortable bed. Everyone at Best Western made my first trip to Montreal a truly lovely experience.

I had an exceptional stay while at this hotel. One of their staff members, Oscar, was very professional and even though I stayed here over a month ago I still remember how kind and helpful he was. I have stayed in many hotels in the area and this one is by far best hotel for it's price in downtown Montreal.

Beautiful hotel downtown Montreal. Great location which gives you easy access to large selections of restaurants, pubs, cultural museums, and so one. Well connected to an efficient and safe public transportation: bus and subway.

Pros: check in and out quick. Room clean and bed comfortable. Location was fine Cons: only one set of towels Breakfast was included but not worth it. Cold food and limited buffet. Would not get it again.

Generally a good hotel centrally located, but this last stay a group checked in on my floor and celebrated on and off for over an hour in the hallway (I think they had one room for the guys and one for the girls). I called down to ask security to come quiet them but they weren't in the hall when security came up. Security came up again and could hear noise from one room and asked them to keep it down "because the sound travels". They were in the hallway, not just the room! Security didn't think it was worth standing there for 5 minutes to wait for the explosion. I had to call reception over and over because they didn't answer their phone and neither did the operator. This is all after 10pm. I've stayed here in the past with no problem, but they just didn't seem to care about solving the problem, just went through the motions. TIP: Parking is $25 plus tax so about $30+ per night with valet. Parking garage virtually across the street is $20/night with tax included.

Good hotel but the waiter did not know how to make a bloody… JAI to tell him to put some Tabasco and the other unpronounceable sauce. Oh, and just English service.

Room Services 8/10 Home 8/10 cleanliness 7/10 But Lord that this hotel is not soundproof, you hear everything that goes on the floor. I can confirm that this is not a hotel to rest. There was a group of young people a bit noisy and I was sure they were in front of my room, so I opened my door to ask them to lower the tone but they were at the other end of the corridor. You must soundproofing.

Lack of heating in the full bedroom including bath, noises in your refrigerator equipments etc making night noise.

Amazing place and great service. Shout out to Peter at the evening desk who made our stay amazing. Rooms are super up to date and clean, staff are warm and friendly. Our room despite being next to the elevator, was super quiet. No issues at all. Located at a bus and subway line, car is not really needed. Walking distance to many places. Once again, thank you Peter for making our visit one to remember!

Are fully satisfied with the hotel nice people clean rooms with questions no matter how good you speak English always open-minded a bit annoying the feeling that you have to tip everyone but otherwise super central location, without problem to hit the hotel had twin room And more space than we expected.

Good location But it's really everything. For the rest, it's a shame. The staff is really not professional and not trying to be understanding. My company has booked a room in this hotel and once there, the receptionist forces me to pay while I show it the bills and vouchers proving that the company has to book with a credit card and that it must be loaded. I confirm that none of her managers she had on the phone wanted to give her constructive advice. Obviously to be disturbed at be a 22:00 it is not pleasant. After hours of waiting I finally managed to get a room. Needing to rest I can tell you that I had a horrible night. The rooms are poorly soundproof (I wonder even if there is one). The worst is the noise from the street, the noises from the hallway, the slamming of the bedroom doors that have kept me awake several times in the night. In addition, room and deco very old-fashioned. The hotel deserves a little expense.
No breakfast either. It's a scam given the hotel services. The staff must really receive service training to the customers otherwise they will ruin the business. Best Western already did not have a very good image to my eyes according to the comments of my colleagues but it is confirmed. We stop all business with Best Western in my company and across the country. Deception for my stay in Montreal.

Good location! Enjoyed watching the valet ask my wife, “Was the service not good?! ”, three times while we were loading our stuff into our car when we were checking out. Reminded me of India. The Quebecois part of India. Mais oui!

Very good location of the hotel in Montreal. At the foot of Mount Royal and 2 blocks from Ste Catherine. It was a very nice hotel. Big lack of soundproofing. Our room was in addition next to an elevator, we heard it a lot, it vibrate even sometimes. The breakfast buffet is not extraordinary. Friendly staff.

I have been a satisfied Best Western customer for many years, but no longer. I just called to cancel my reservation more than 30 days in advance and I was told that I could not. I was told the reason was due to my agreeing to pay in advance for the reservation. There is nothing I can do now that they have my money. They are thieves. Stay away. They won't be fooling me again. Don't let them fool you.

We hosted a conference at this Best Western, and the hotel management was extremely helpful and accommodating from the first contact until the end of the meeting. Participants from 11 countries felt the rooms, setting and food were perfect, and that they were respected and well taken care of. The central position of the hotel is an additional +. Mr Zikry, the manager, is a unique man, very experienced in what he does. Highly recommended.

Despite the fact the hotel has its age, it is great place to stay, clean rooms, comfy beds, friendly reception staff. Price was reasonable, and perfect location — 10min walk to Bell Center (if you go to see the game). Also shopping possibilities very close, dinning no problem.

The BW Ville-Marie are very well located in downtown Montreal. This makes it much easier to access museums, venues and restaurants. The subway system is a two minute walk away. The staff at the front desk and the valets are lovely and very attentive. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and the housekeeping staff regularly renews the material that makes the stay enjoyable. The café-Bistro on the ground floor is worth stopping for the quality of the coffee and the choice of delicious fast menus.

The one night there while our Canada group tour was okay. But I think the breakfast was very capable of upgrading!? Montreal itself should not be visited in the summer…

Booked this hotel at the last minute to celebrate New Years Eye, and had a great stay! Initially, I had checked in to a room, but being New Years Eye, there was a super noisy party next door. I went down to the reception and requested for another room. The supervisor in charge that night (caucasian and bald I forgot his name), was very professional and friendly and offered me a room on another floor immediately, and to let him know if it is more quiet. After 30 mins of moving in, he called the phone in my room to see if I was satisfied (which I was)! Rooms are clean and spacious. Bed is comfy. Not sure what more you could want, given this reasonable price point!

Decent hotel but best location. Steps from st Catherine Avenue where all the shopping is at but 2 blocks from the SkyTrain which gets you to all the sights. A bit noisy and air-conditioning didn't work at all at our room but the heating can be too much and hard to set so we've had to crack open the windows despite the minus 20 weather outside.

Everyone there is lovely and kind, and ever so helpful. The rooms are beautiful, clean and larger than expected and very very nice :) would recommend any day!

They helped me get a cheap room very last minute. Check in and check out was very easy and fast. The rooms and building were clean and well kept. The hotel is a really good area downtown, close to shopping and lots of attraction and restaurants.

EVENT PLANNERS: I have used this property for the last three years and have no complaints. The general manager is great to work with and will take great care of you and your group from your arrival to your departure. We look forward to returning each year for our conference because we know the customer service is top shelf, that the food will be excellent, the hotel rooms will be very clean, and that our people will be well cared for. A very warm place. Excellent lodging and food.

The hotel has appealing, spacious rooms with good facilities. Comfortable large cupboard and storage facilities. The staff is very friendly and helpful and the services offered are very good. Breakfast is served as a buffet or a la carte in the restaurant (the latter is not very lush but good and also priced reasonable). There is also an integrated café with sandwiches and pastries. The location of the hotel is ideal for exploring the city centre and also the Mont Royal.

The Location of the hotel is great. Great for business and great for leisure. Rooms are soon ready for updating, and parking is not easy. But all in all a good hotel with clean rooms.

Room: We asked for a quiet room and got one on the 19th floor, tucked away in a corner. Could hear faint sounds of street noise, but not enough to be bothered to ask for a room change. Spacious and clean. Service: We had our do not disturb sign up but they serviced the room anyways. Unusual, and momentarily concerning since our valuables weren't locked up. Didn't realize at the time but my passport may have fallen under the table in the room because of this, but can't say for sure. The general manager was very prompt in getting the passport sent back to me though, which was excellent. Overall, would definitely stay again at the right price. Thanks again to GM Rafik for the timely response in getting my passport back to me.

Rooms are spacious. Bathroom could have been cleaner. Found hairs in there upon check-in. Also, the floor area where the tub meets the caulking was not very clean. I cleaned up the dirt from there. I think they have an issue with mold. The concierge fellow is a bit of a scammer. We called and gave plenty of notice RE: cancelling a taxi because our plans changed. He seemed to want compensation and tried to make us feel bad about cancelling. The fellow at the front desk was no better. When I mentioned the fiasco with the concierge, he said "what's the problem? You didn't have to pay for anything" The other thing I didn't like was I requested tea before 10 pm when their room service ends. I was told the kitchen was closed. I checked the hotel directory and realized I had called before they closed. I called back and had to insist that I be served. The tea was provided free of charge. But I should not have had to insist that I be served. I usually stay at the Best Western Europa when in Montreal. Rooms are small but service is much much better.

Very large American rooms with all amenities. Being in the downtown not really lively in the evening come but at the foot of the subway so far from nothing.

The hotel is in a great location for getting to the Metro, restaurants, bars and other points of interest. The valet parking is very confusing with very little area to park for the check-in-process. The front desk staff could have been a bit more friendly. When we asked about a complimentary continental breakfast, we were told that the hotel does NOT offer a complimentary breakfast. This is not true because others have stated on Trip Advisor that they received a free breakfast. If it was not included at the price we paid, that should have been stated — not just that it is never offered. The room was fairly clean. We found a used bar of soap on the bathroom floor with a hair on it. So obviously the staff did not check the floor of the bathroom before leaving. The concierge and valet staff were exceptional — very helpful with giving directions, maps and helping us to get a cab. I would give them five stars but not the front desk staff.

When we arrived in the room we discovered the toilet was clogged. Also, they only had towels for 1 person. The next day we were gone from 9:30 AM until 2:30 PM and when we came back to the room the bed was not made and bathroom towels were still on the floor. When I went downstairs to talk to the front desk, they just made excuses. They offered to move us but then I would have to re-pack my clothing and personal items. We just wanted to lay down in a fresh made bed. They offered to have the room made up then but this would have us leave the room again, which is not what we wanted. They should have offered us a coffee or maybe even breakfast, but nothing! In all my years of travelling, I have never come back to my room and found it in this manner. Use at your own risk!

One of the best place we have stayed. Nice room, spacious, clean, comfortable. The kitchen is helpful. The location is also great. I totally love this hotel for the time I spent there. They definitely will have a return customer on my next trip.

Room very comfortable, clean, in a very good Cartier of Montreal at 5 min of all there are shows of the festival of attractions on the other hand if you want a florist good luck.

The staff are really friendly. The room was fine. Nothing to say against that. For a 3-star I give him four. The coffee was very good.

This our place to stay when visiting Quebec every Xmas before we venture out of Montreal to see family. They continue to improve on what they offer and the things we like are free Wi-Fi, security safe in room, easy loading/unloading from car, clean room and we especially like the little cafe on the street level. The staff remember us each year which is a pleasant bonus. The price is especially pleasing for a downtown Montreal hotel and we can easily walk to our favorite restaurants. We will return as we do every year.

Restaurant was really good price/quality for breakfast, staff was great. The location was really convenient, and was hard to beat at that price. Room was clean and modern, but nothing really amazing. Overall I enjoyed my stay.

Best hotel in downtown Montreal, the staff is very friendly, the food is exellent, ambience is adorable and with a very good price, I highly recommend it.

The rooms were big and very clean and updated. The only downside was that we had to wait an hour to get in our room after 3 pm! And there is no pool. The coffee shop there is great.

Old, worn, sad hotel which is not worth the money! So many things wrong! A/C not working but instead seemed to humidify the room, although hallways are cool – maintenance claimed they fixed it – Not! Couldn't sleep due to this. Tried opening window but Can only open window a 2 inch crack due to a safety stopper they have. Rediculous! Tried to close drapes and they fell to the floor! Then saw that to block light, is a blind on a roller. It went down but would not go back up. Room seemed clean but older furnishings and rough around the edges… Shower pressure good, but one of the towels was thin & worn, and should have been replaced a long time ago. Also found a big glob of maid hair on the 2nd towel — Gross! Wanted to fill my water bottle in fitness center – but they close it at 9pm or 10pm – weird. Girl @ front desk suggested I fill it with my bathroom tap water. Just a sad place to stay! I checked out early and went to better hotel. NOT recommended!

SERVICE: Professional and courteous. ROOM: Clean and well cared for as well as well furnished. CONVENIENCES: It was a nice treat to have a coffee house right next to the main lobby accessible from inside the hotel. The coffee was outstanding. LOCATION: Perfect for anyone looking to take advantage of the city's cultural attractions. Good restaurants are close by. The Peel Metro Station is a block away.
