Excellent service from the hotel staff. We particularly appreciated being able to bring our dog during our stay, she was treated as a full-fledged guest.

Great experience. We stayed in the executive diamond suite and it was beautiful. The room service was delicious. The pool and terrace with hot tub were great. The terrace and hot tub were particularly beautiful at night with a view of the city. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The only reason I didnt give 5 stars was for minor issues. There was a used tissue on the fire place mantle when we first entered the room. Some of the furniture was visibly warn and chipped. A couple of the curtains were very hard to open or close and would get stuck. But most of all one of the staff entered our room. I guess they had knocked before but we didn't hear them and they just unlocked the door and walked right in.

We have just arrived to Le Crystal for a 3 nights stay. Unfortunately we are disappointed even though it’s been the hotel of choice of some of my family members for many years now. It’s my first time here and I would say that the hotel is certainly not a 5 stars hotel and in need of some renovation. Despite our indication of arrival time, an early check in was not available and we were promised we would get a call as soon as the room became ready and never received one. We checked into the room in the evening after a long day and first thing we did was check the beds to confirm the bed sheets were changed and we found hair on one bed and in fairness they did send someone to change the sheets immediately, but it set doubt about the cleanliness of the rest of the room. As well the room is outdated and the carpet is dirty. We were just so tried that we just let it go and didn’t check the rest of the room to check if it’s clean or not. Later at night we could hear the garbage trucks and could not sleep well. So all in all am quite disappointed with my choice.

Only stayed here one night, but was very satisfied with our accommodations. Having just taken a red eye, I was super tired and the hotel was able to give us early check-in at 9 am! The bed was so comfortable and our suite had a little living room, kitchenette, a good sized washroom with 2 sinks and a nice bedroom. The mini bar is fully stocked and if you need anything, you can just text and they will bring it to you! There is a lovely indoor pool and outdoor sunbathing/lounging area we took advantage of during our stay. The location is right off St. Catherine's so very close to shopping and lots of amenities. Would definitely love to stay here again.

We had Relaxation massages instead; his was very light and mine had a very nice medium pressure. Stayed in the Crystal Suite at this hotel for the Just For Laughs Festival. For a Diamond Collection suite, I enjoyed the space and small touches such as the bottled water and maple syrup candy placed next to the bed every night. It also had a beautiful view of the city. However, I did not give 5 stars because the shower took a long time to heat up and never got very hot at the highest setting. Although the room was located on the 8th floor, we were able to hear a lot of the street traffic, which made it difficult to have a restful night sleep.

Won a trip that included a stay at this hotel a few months back. We loved every minute of our stay at this hotel. The room with added features like microwave, cutlery was perfect. Amenities such as pool and outdoor hot-tube were first rate. What made our stay brilliant was the professionalism and helpfulness of the staff that are top notch. It really was dream vacation. Anyone who books here or lucky enough to win a stay here will have no regrets. Also, room service portions are huge and delicious. Wasn't able to try the Thai rest as visited before it opened but that said room service was superb. Thanks to the staff and attendants at Le Crystal, will never look to another Montreal hotel when I visit next.

We stayed for two nights and couldn't fault the Hotel, classy, great helpful staff, we had a suite nice size, the mini bar was a bit over the top, the fridge was crammed, which is nice until you check the prices ($40 for a bottle of Wine for example) Bed very comfortable, good sized bathroom with a bath and lovely shower. Hotel is a good location in Town, we were on the 9th floor so zero noise.

Great hotel. Services for small onions, well located. Spacious and well-equipped reception rooms. The food is respectable for a dinner buffet and the sofas are appetizing.

Nice hotel with good location and lovely rooms. Very disappointed to find out, after I checked in, that the advertised outdoor hot tub is routinely closed on Thursdays. Routine closures of featured amenities should be disclosed in your advertising!

To our great surprise we were upgraded as soon as we arrived which made our stay all the more enjoyable.
The outdoor Jacuzzi offers stunning views of downtown.
The staff is qualified and attentive.
I would recommend this hotel which is one of my best experiences on Montreal.

Great location and excellent service. Very comfortable bed and large room.

Room was not ready at 4. We arrived at 4:15 and had to wait until 4:50. Restaurant was closed for renovations and reopening, which was clearly stated in advance on the website but was not stated months before when we booked so was a bummer. View was great! Location was great! Right near bars restaurants and even a solid grocery store. Room was as expected but was a little worse for the wear than the glossy website let on. Indoor pool was nice in the evening sun. Would go back and probably will.

Amazing place to stay for our visit to Montreal. Great service at the hotel. It is within walking distance to everywhere. There are some amazing restaurants and shopping nearby as well as a complete grocery store. It is also within walking distance of two metro stations which get you anywhere else in the city including the Biodome and Olympic Stadium as well as Old Montreal. The service inside the hotel was also outstanding. The rooms were welk kept and laid out with space for all of our needs as a family travelling together.

Amazing hotel as always. Bright modern room and great pool & hot tub. Stayed in PH1101 and it was awesome. Staff were friendly and always helpful. Centrally located and walking distance to the Bell Centre and plenty of food & shopping choices. Looking forward to coming back again.

It's at the heart of Montreal making it a great spot to get around between the hotel and spots around the city. The service is friendly, and the amenities include a nice pool, gym, spa, and more.

Wow. Totally overpriced and overrated for such a "luxurious" pricey hotel. No hotel without a restaurant should be rated as 4 or 5 stars. Breakfast was deplorable — not even as good as any breakfast I've had at a 2 or 3-star over the years, and the waitress was extremely rude. Room was spacious and was probably quite impressive when new, but a little beat up and disappointing at this point. We had a reservation for 3 guests, so clearly needed to use the sofa bed. The sheets and blanket on the sofa bed were used! Never again! Save your money and stay elsewhere!

Magnifique! Spectacular rooftop pool and outside hot tub. Beautiful rooms and very warm attentive staff. Great location. Only thing less than absolutely wonderful was the breakfast buffet, which was average and expensive. But we're coming back for sure.

Staff was great, shower is amazing, bed was super comfy, only thing I didn't like was the lighting in the room. It was very dark a couple of lamps and I would give 5 stars.

Great room, a breathtaking steak and excellent customer service. The lunch that was included in my package = very disappointing. On the other hand, we agreed to take my plate and serve something else at no cost. Overall, a great experience.

Pleasant Suite, space and swimming pool, Wi-Fi fast, close to the city centre but no lunch or dinner and supper in the hotel even if it is impossible 5 stars. I would have liked some suggestions or discount coupons for shops or restaurant nearby. Dog allowed.

Went to the hotel for a professional event. The staff were amazing and respectful. Every room/place I went were perfectly clean anfld cozy. Very nice place.

My girlfriend and I spent 2 nights at the Hotel Le Crystal during our visit to Montreal. The location is great — walking distance to public transportation and in less than 20 minutes you can make it to the historic old town area right by the water. Nearby to the hotel are a ton of restaurants, shops, cafes, and a popular shopping Street so there are Endless Options for things to do in the immediate area. There's parking available at the hotel but it's a little bit cheaper if you park in one of the private garages and just walk over rather than paying to park at the hotel itself. The lobby was Modern, checking in went smoothly, and my girlfriend and I appreciated having the Starbucks on the main floor of the hotel. As for the room, we had a spacious Corner Room with a beautiful view of downtown Montreal. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was huge, and we appreciated the small kitchenette which allowed us to heat up some of our leftovers later on in the day. The Wi-Fi also worked quite well which was a pleasant surprise. On one of the higher floors there is a pool and a beautiful hot tub with an amazing view of Mount Royal and more of the downtown business district area so I recommend checking that out if it's open. There’s also a spa up there as well that you can check out if you're looking for even more relaxation during your visit to Montreal.

The suites are nice, especially the bigger ones (like Crystal suite and up). Spacious, with good furnishings. Restaurant is okay. Service and food is hit and miss. People tell you you can't have a bad meal in Montreal? They lie. Anyway, my beef is with the service attitude at this hotel. The elevator bank is right by the front desk. Front desk people simply ignore you when you walk by. Not even eye contact, let alone a warm welcome back or anything. Same with the valet people, until it's time to tip them. I mean, hey, this is not a cheap place. You charge an arm and a leg, so at least show a bit of customer service. I swear never to return.

Amazing room size. Convenience location, valet parking is a good touch. But I hope parking by myself could be an option as they charged about $40 and want visited ahead. Over all very satisfied.

A hidden gem, Hotel Le Crystal is a wonderfully located full-service hotel that I have had the pleasure of staying and working at many times over the years. It never disappoints. Still one of the most comfortable sleeping experiences I have ever had, to boot.

Great place to go spend a night or two. In the heart of Downtown Montreal right near the Centre Bell. Has a nice jacuzzi with a great view of Mont-royal (must-try) with a pool besides it for kids.

Stayed in a Deluxe King Suite for a night. Fantastic accommodations. Lobby staff was professional, nice and helpful. Location is great — walking distance to many places.

Nice hotel. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Attended a professional event which was very nice. The view of the patio in the back was part of an alley, which is probably not the best view of Montreal.

At your service. — valet is professional and courteous — reception is quick and professional — check in was fast and simple — room was exactly as described on website — beautiful bathrooms — place looks clean and very well maintained. — conference rooms are beautiful and comfortable. — staff makes eye contact, smile and super professional. — oh and let's not forget, THEY HAVE A STARBUCKS inside the hotel :) ) ) ) ) Will come back.

I went there for a 5 @ 7 with colleagues. The appetizers were not famous, but the alcoholic beverages were well done.

A stunning, contemporary, first-class hotel! My favorite hotel in Montreal. After about a dozen visits, I can say we have always had a wonderful stay. The rooms are beautiful and well appointed. Pool and outdoor hot tub on 12th floor are great! Staff are always very professional and the concierge service top notch!

Was working in the lobby with a coffee from their Starbucks. Wi-Fi was stable and fast enough, chairs and tables were comfortable, space was clean and quiet.

One of the cleanest hotels we stayed in Montreal. The modern rooms with amazing view of the city. We only stayed 2 night and had dinner at the restaurant. The food was amazing and will defiantly go back again.

We were more than satisfied with the staff and the room, but disappointed with the outdoor hot tub. We enjoyed it. The water was hot, and the view enjoyable, but the jets were very, very weak. There was almost no movement in the water. It was a pleasant time in a hot bath, not a hot tub.

Take the room with spa on the balcony! What wonderful hotel, great great experience I strongly recommend. My partner and I highly enjoyed the service! Wow.

Extremely nice. High end amenities and modern design. My suite had three rooms and two TVs. Valet for you car is prompt. Only hotel in the area that has is own spacious driveway with overhang. Highly recommended.

Great location, rooms are beautiful. We sat in the outdoor hot tub in sub-zero temperature with a beautiful view of the city.

It is a nice hotel in the city center, close by shopping on St. Catherine street (average shops, main stream, not high end) and close to lots of restaurants (nice variety from low to high end). Location is ok. The hotel is good, but not what I would consider 5-star. The bedding is very average, mattresses are not what I would expect from a 5-star hotel (average spring mattress with a down topper that tends to bunch up in all the wrong places). The staff is accommodating and the rooms are nice, decent size and nicely decorated. The lobby could use a nice fireplace — that's definitely lacking… The restaurant in the hotel is nice, food is very good. In terms of restaurant service — it could be improved upon — again keeping in mind we are talking about what is supposed to be a 5-star hotel. Overall it was a decent stay, but by no means 5-star. The price was very good though — perhaps priced accordingly…

My favourite place to stay in Montreal. The amenities are incredible and the staff will do anything you need to make your stay enjoyable. Right at the heart of downtown with easy access to almost everything.

Can't go wrong with Le Crystal. Simply a little too overrated. EDIT: Went back on December 28th 2015 with no reservation. Receptionist was able to get my group a suite in less than an hour and sent us to the bar for free drinks while they were cleaning the room… That's what I call service. 5* Will be returning soon.

Professional and cordial staff. Beautiful rooms with some of the most comfortable bedding I've ever slept on. Delicious food and great amenities. Without a doubt, I'd recommend this stay to anyone.

Hotel Le Crystal is very clean. I received very good service both at the desk and parking my car. The decor is modern and the rooms are comfortable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the downtown area.

Horrible hotel. Checked into the room and found urine on the toilet seat along with a warn out bath towel with a tare on it. I complained and was offered an upgraded room slightly bigger but to a construction site just next door with heavy hammering sound at 6 in the morning. I stay in many hotels for business and this has to be the worst hotel especially when the receptionist tells me they are a five star hotel.

Great hotel, great services, super clean, very safe and close to shopping and museums. I'm going back to that hotel, really worths it.

Again this establishment proves my point that no matter how fabulously perfect a place is there is ALWAYS someone that just has to be negative. Suites are ultra chic. Enjoy a soak in the enormous bath with the complimentary gourmet salts the terry cloth rob could not be a more comfortable way to lounge in the living room with a bottle of wine or an espresso from the in room espresso machine. Microwave and stocked fridge appoint the almost kitchenette area. The staff are fabulous, friendly and, at the ready for any need. If there could possibly be any problem they would not permit it to go uncorrected post haste. This hotel epitomizes full service in the industry. With this being said how anyone could possibly say anything negative could only indicate the issue is theirs, certainly not that of this Establishment. PERFECT understates a stay at possibly the finest hotel in Montreal.

Positive point: hotel recent, good bedding, bath to the height, optimal location
Negative: modern premises but already somewhat overwhelmed, equivalent to a very good 3 french stars, AC popping (American standard)
Conclusion: price/quality OK but no more.

I am staying here currently, and would like to say this is the nicest hotel I have ever stayed in. The place is gorgeous, and the rooms are amazing with the small living room and kitchenette. It feels like a personal retreat from the city, and I am glad to come back to it everyday. The pool and hot tub are amazing! The staff is so friendly and helpful. If I ever come to Montreal again, I will refuse to stay anywhere else. CHOOSE THIS HOTEL! We also got a 30% deal if we bought 3 nights. So we pretty much bought 2 nights and got one free.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone! The employees were very helpful and generous; the rooms were fabulous and comfortable.
