Restaurant unfortunately closed definitively good Mexican restaurant, beautiful authentic deco.

Stayed with the family, Myrna was very helpful and very polite. She answered all questions and helped figuring the parking. Location wise the place is excellent. Few minutes walk anywhere in old Montreal and a subway right across the building. I will highly recommend this place to anyone who is looking for a central location, clean & well maintained rooms with a caring owner. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Montreal! Thank you Myrna!

Got there with my family and David, the receptionist, personally brought my bags to my room and even helped with my stroller! Hotel also has a convenient parking lot that is rigt behind the building and is cheaper than parking lots in the area. Great staff and cleaning crew really makes you feel at home. The apartments are in the heart of the old port of Montreal and are very luxurious. Very happy with my experience with them and looking forward to booking with them in the future!

This was the worst experience I've ever had anywhere. To begin the room was not ready when it was scheduled to be ready. We had to wait an extra half an hour until the cleaning lady was done. Even then there was no soap or other amenities in the room. The room we were given was not the right room, when we inquired into this the guy at the front desk said he would call the manager, then disappeared. However, the worst part was that there is no staff that stays overnight at the hotel. There was an extremely loud party going on all night on one of the above floors. I called the two phone numbers left at the front desk multiple times and there was no answer. I was not able to get a wink of sleep. We also asked for extra blankets which we never got either. Very disappointed would never stay here again.

I really wanted to give this place a five-star rating because the rooms we had were absolutely gorgeous, clean and comfy. The only thing we did not like is that on the second day of our stay, all our stuff was moved to another room and we got a call from the manager saying we were upgraded. That's great that we got an upgrade but I was not happy nor comfortable with the idea of someone having access to our stuff. I am glad nothing was missing but that was absolutely rude. I will not stay here in the future for this reason simply. Great rooms just beware of someone having access to your stuff and moving it without your knowledge.

The Suite was fabulous. Great location. Clean and affordable. We really enjoyed our stay. We will for sure stay again on our next visit. Could use a hand towel or paper towel in kitchen, perhaps a box of Kleenex in each washroom and hooks under the stairs in 304 to hang jackets, but those are just suggestions, the rest was awesome. Thank you again.

La propreté est super, par contre convient pour 4 personnes et non six. Très bruyant, manque de service, nous avons precise que nous serions 6 et nous avons manqué de serviettes, débarbouillette. Le seul point fort c'est la localisation. Par contre pour le prix, nous ne reviendrons pas ici.

Too bad if you want to sleep, it is definitely not the right place! The restaurant downstairs is WAY TOO LOUD, bed and lamps are shaking because of VERY loud music downstairs, until 4 am on Wednesday and Thursday. Never again. But the suites are superb. Location is perfect. Too bad it is really REALLY not quiet. I know that I might be disturbed downtown, I mean, it's part of the game, but I'm writing this and I am hearing the clients from the restaurant talking from my bed like if they were in my bathroom… Nope, not for business trips!

I had the worst experience ever in this hotel. It's not safe at all. My friend and I checked into this hotel in 3 pm and went out for food. We left all our staff and luggage in the suite since we never thought someone will go into the room. When we came back, the concierge guy told us that he moved us to another suite since he made a mistake. We were shocked. At this point all our concern is where is our staff. He said he has already moved all our staff to a new suite. We left our luggage and bags open and now couple things are missing. There is no respect, privacy and certainly not safe in this hotel. Will definitely file a complaint.

The apartment like suite was very nice. Everything it said it would be. It was however difficult to find, even to someone that knew the area. The only criticisms that I would have would be that there was no soap provided in the room, however there was shampoo and conditioner, the pillows were very thin and filled with chipped foam, and the blinds did nothing to black out the street lights. But the charm of the unit itself helped to overcome these. And the people above us partied until 2 a. M. And were very heavy footed.

Location location location. They failed to make up our room during the entire stay tho. No front desk staff ever. But* absolutly in the heart of it all, these huge rooms are a treat. Full kitchens and laundry to boot. Pricey but worth the splurge. 203 is on the first floor at the back.

The place we stayed at was absolutely beautiful! The location was great and the staff were very helpful and approachable.

Great hotel, but there is a very loud machine on the roof that runs every 30 minutes. The blinds are also really bad in the bedroom. As soon as the sun is up, you are up. Luckily we were wiped out every night from walking all day, so it wasn't terribly hard to fall asleep.

Perfect, simply perfect. I travel to Montreal often and this has been my best stay yet.

The apartment we had is huge and well maintained. There is no elevator, which is a norm in this location. And also this place can be nosy due to cars run right next to you and restaurant below will be washing dishes at late night. If you don't mind those, it's great place to stay at old town.

I worked here for ten months, most of the employees didn't get paid for the last four weeks, and others for the last two weeks. The restaurant was shut down Monday November 15 without notice from the owner Mateo Madani. He's been missing from weeks ago. And from what I know he ows money to providers and to channel.

Never I go back there! Do not rely on the photos that put it on the web site. The plates are not as nice as those who put in the pictures. The floors are dirty. We had a menu dirty under the table, a range of food and not to mention the toilets which were really disgusting! No SOAP, toilets overflowed and the smell nause abounds pee! The rotten service the waitress is slow to serve and serve and she has trouble talking in french. Mexican best restaurant is El Zazium!

Poor service; plate 10 minutes apart, the waitress gives a bunch of napkins to one of the people at our table that she distributes them! She asked who ordered what and get angry when we don't respond quickly!, the food (carlos and pepes to $ 21 plate), no music in the room, disgusting toilets! (One does not close and the other a huge puddle of water/urine smelly lining the floor. ) Not to mention that you pay $ 20 for parking because of the crappy location. ) They put the tables and put the chairs top to show us what they want us to leave at 22:00. Sincerely go to Casa figueroa, you'll get your money just with the mariachis and food and even more.

Horrible service. She would bring 90% of the drinks / food and forget the about the others. Not even half of us got water, we had to go looking for it. House wine is horrible! It literally made me sick, one sip and I had to hold it in. A shame because my friend wanted to go for his birthday and the whole group didn't like it. All of that being said, I have no complaints about the food, it was good enough to get the place a 2nd star.

For Mexican dishes are authentic, not Taco Bell, c is the place!

Filth served by swine! Bullied by a mariachi band, poisoned by the fish, ass destroyed by the salt and sauce, date ruined by overwhelming sense of detritus, and I payed for it. Also salsa was tasteless marinara sauce, my margarita glass rim was chipped, and the guacamole that consisted of only two avocados and a salt content that would make the kidneys of even a hyperosmotic regulator suffer costed more than an unlimited weekend bus fare.

The only thing good about this place is the quality of the food, everything else is terrible. The atmosphere, the price, the portions and the service are all really bad. The only reason I am putting 2 stars is because the food was actually very good, otherwise would be 1 star.

The room was fine and seemed clean. I have no complaint about it; the problem is the staff. I got there and checked in just fine, but the next day the restaurant was closed (and they were supposed to offer breakfast) and there was nobody to check out! I waited half an hour or so and still no one showed up. I just dropped the keys in front of their office's door. I wouldn't come back.

It was in the spring of 2010, my brother and I needed somewhere to eat after walking all over Old Montreal, Quebec. Service was excellent and the food was yummyicious.

I had a blast for my birthday party at this restaurant. The food looked and tasted amazing! The drinks were fantastic. I myself had a fajita vegetarian and a mojito. The fajita didn't take long to cook, I could hear its sizzling sound as it came out. It smelled great and tasty. The margarita was also very refreshing! Moreover, the waitresses were very friendly and courteous. The Mariachi was lovely and they even sang me a happy birthday along with a little piece of chocolate cake. That made the whole experiences more unforgettable. I would recommend anyone to hold a birthday party or any sort of party at this restaurant. You won't regret it.

Good Place to eat real mexican food and enjoy the beauty of old-port architectures.

Tasteless and expensive for absolutely no reason. We had to ask for our free salsa and chips, sangria was tasteless especially for a 10$ charge-tasted more like crushed ice and food dye. We ordered appetizers (avocado and chips with warm salsa and cheese) that alone came to 20$ already. The lady did make the avocado right infront of us, then my friends happen to see when she got avocado on the corner of her hand, she LICKED IT. Btw they do not use gloves. Got my 20$!, burrito lacked flavor and everything was small and un proportioned. My friend ordered a fajita and for 24! Comes with just a bit of avocado to make your Own fajita, she had to ask for more. I won't be going back to this restaurant ever, it's better you spend literally half the cost at a resto in downtown Montreal, 3 AMIGOS SO MUCH CHEAPER AND SO MUCH TASTIER. Don't waste your time and money just because it's old port.

Food is has breathtaking atmosphere with the mariachis who play music and sing, to tell you, it was my party and it me we gave the cake, the mariachis me we sang Cumpleanos Feliz (happy day in Spanish) and it's your turn. Blablabla! Really beautiful, dated but not too much! Really a good restaurant that I suggest a lot.

Beautiful discovery, the food was excellent, well stocked, the service was very good, the waitress spoke French-English-Spanish. We had a coupon of $45 for 2 people, menu discovery so it was really worth it at this price:)

I love the Mexican vibe and the food is very good and the Sangrilla house Humm! Super good service with a Mexican experience waitress, I don't remember are name but she looks strong and exotic.

Ask Fabiola for the best service of this restaurant, the burritos are exellent with handmade tortillas, the guacamole made your tâble exellent and the nachos are a velonté. I return what times a year thanks.

Terrible. Do not use gloves to make guacamole, the cart where to come to get the guacamole was quite dirty, dishes where they prepare it and q utensils used do not wash them after each use, but q let them there for reusarlos late, the soles with q are the waitresses are black but the filth, the floors of the restaurant do not pass them a broom, and food anything q see the price q is paid.
The only good thing is the mariachi show, that Yes, it would be good q learn more songs, peri great voices.
