Fantastic food and venue. Lovely rooms and such a peaceful place.

The property is clean, simply well decorated. Nice location as given a beautiful view of the Bay of Ga spé.
It would lack soaps, shampoo (the small bag is difficult to open) and after shampoo (there are none). There is a good choice of lunch.
The property is for sale.

Small rooms, typical Motel. But meals in the restaurant were fantastic! Well worth staying. Get the meal package.

Good location, nice view and very good food.

Stayed here for 3 nights. Decent budget place. Right by the beach. But you will drive distance of 80km to Gaspe town or Perce town (177km where there's the landmark perce rock). The drives are beautiful. I did the trip around oct 10th. This place is great for 1 night stay coming from montreal as a rest stop. I'd rather buy other nights in gaspe or perce (lots happening at these cities and they are near by)

A wonderful view of the St. Lawrence from the restaurant room. The kitchen is simple and very good. Welcome and service are excellent!

Dinner at the restaurant was amazing, as well as the drinks and dessert. Location is lovely — we walked on the shore rocks in the early morning but the room was very run-down.

To fully enjoy this motel you should also eat at the restaurant. Dinner and breakfast. It was a great dinner for a reasonable price. The motel room, was clean and quaint, probably built in the 1950s or 60s as the electrical outlets are two prong only. Units 1-4 have an ocean view but sadly that view was not apparently appreciated when built as it is only a window not a walk out. However, you are only steps to a pathway to the rocky beach. Outdoor armchairs facilitate enjoying the sunset with a glass of wine and maybe seeing a whale or two. I did. You could stay a couple days here if you wanted to detach and read. Yes the internet is not free. We just used our phone data plan. NOTE: This motel is up for sale with the owners planning to move on to a different venture. I verified the for sale sign on the property.

We atayed in motel and it was quaint, mini-fridge and small table in room. Restaurant had delicious, well priced food. Host were lovely.

Extremely cute little cafe restaurant on Quebec's Route 132. Farm fresh food. Beautiful view from the cosy dining room. Time stands still and you should stop in for a bite :)

The hotel is located in Cloridorme, Quebec. The 2-bed room was pleasant and the staff helpful and courteous. Unfortunately, you had to pay for Wi-Fi and there were no 3-prong plugs in the room.

This hotel was superb. I wish to come back here again, and many times thereafter. We arrived in the early evening, and were charmed by the appearance of this place right away. The restaurant in the old restored house is very cute and quaint. I knew even before meeting the owner that she is an artist. The menu looked delectable, though we did not dine here. Among the items listed were veal meatballs with cheese, lobster, escargot, and many other fruits de mere. Our room was the perfect size, with a small table and chairs, two beds, and a marvelous view of the water. It was a little chilly when the sun went down, but very romantic. My travel companion said that it reminded him of his grandparent's old vacation cabin. The internet access was extra, but quite reasonable. We paid around 5 dollars for three hours. We would have foregone the internet access entirely, but we needed it to book our next stay some distance ahead. There is access to the water at the botom of the hill behind the hotel. I walked down to the rocks at sunrise, and it was magical. On the beach were some rusted metal artifacts from old ships, alongside the driftwood and kelp. Our hostess was very kind and considerate, and our short overnight stay was comfortable. I only wish it had been longer!

Home and exceptional place. Means even the whales blow the evening and overnight. The food is excellent. All this for a very reasonable cost.

This romantic place and really on the edge of the river. A wonderful welcome by the owners. 2nd stay for us.! We loved it the first time and I'm sure our stay this time will be as well even if we are at the beginning of season :)

Found by chance (on Google map! ), we loved the restaurant and the the North Star motel. The food was really excellent, exceptional even (we loved the fish Chowder), and the room was above what can be expected of the appellation "motel". The restaurant is located in an old building of the 19th, transformed into a hotel since the 1920s. Vintage decoration gives it a certain cachet. Only "downside", the place should invest in an espresso machine. ;-)

Very pleasant experience! Comfortable rooms. Food and hotel out of the ordinary! Highly recommended!
