This place is absolutely amazing, the owners Joan and Roger are so sweet! They make you feel right at home! They’re customer service was superb. The place was beautiful. Lots of space, gorgeous view and waterfront, multiple fire pits and amenities! Highly recommend this place.

With an impromptu visit over this past weekend, my family was pleasantly surprised with this motel! Amazing owners Joanne and Roger were amazingly accommodating and kind. They set us up and even helped us make a nice bonfire. They were awesome and would definitely recommend this spot to anyone. Thanks for the hospitality Joanne and Roger!

It is managed by senior citizen and feels like hime or office. Have good setting for any kind of work or to relax. It has clean bathroom too.

Rented a unit for a month, wasn't asked if I was staying longer just asked when I was leaving. For goodness sake don't ask any questions cause her reaction is unforgettable. I'll never go back or recommend it to anyone else. Just being honest about your reaction, I was just inquiring about things I was unsure of. You are entitled to your opinion as well as I am. Friendly owners. A very clean and well kept establishment. Gorgeous river view from the room. There is a dock with seating and wood for a fire. Many attractions nearby. I will stay here again.

Not only the Wi-Fi, but the Wi-Fi is epic bad!

Clean, comfortable, affordable and beautiful grounds. The sunrise view over the river is breathtaking. The staff are friendly and inviting. Highly recommended.

The Address again for the sixth or more time is Johnstown Motel, 1843 County Rd. Johnstown, Ontario. K0E 1T1. Yes there is a POOL. No there isn't anymore Dairy Bar, that has been Closed for 2yrs now. The Mini Putt will not be OPEN this year. Still doing work on it. I do hope our customer's will be able to get this message for Google is still not getting it right. Super comfy, great location and very caring and friendly owners.

A random passing at midnight in need of a place to sleep. Was hoping to find something in line with the old school motels from the sixties and this did the job nicely. Pleasant service, utilitarian, reasonably priced and very clean. The view across the lake as the sun is rising first thing in the morning is worth the stay alone.

It's a roadside motel, so don't hold your breath, but its clean, the owner if friendly and it does the trick! One thing to note, the location that Google maps does was totally wrong… the map shows the motel in Prescott, which is wrong! its in the town of Johnstown, east on County road 2, just past Grenville park!

What a completely disorganized place. After booking for an August date in April, I arrived to find that, according to the owner and his wife, they had no record of any reservation, despite having a verbal confirmation from the owner and having left my credit card information with him at the time of booking. It appeared that they had let the entire motel out to a bridal party and wern't at all concerned that I had driven 5 hours with a small child. They suggested I try a motekl in nearby Brockville … weren't willing to contact them for me … and when I arrived at the Brockville motel I found that they did not take children. I will never attempt to stay at the Johnston Motel again, do not under any circumstances recommed it to anyone and am informing all my friends and aquaintances of the problem I hjad and suggesting they also give it a wide bearth.
