Terrible smell carpets are worn and dirty bathrooms are old hole in floor and ceiling and bathtubs rusted and chipped and air conditioning didn’t work we then asked for another room on upper floor somewhat better with balcony to get some fresh air but bathrooms still worn out never again.

Old and worn, smells disgusting, lights don’t work. Horrible, do not stay.

This place is disgusting! NOT family friendly.

The name Brunswick Hotel needs to be changed to Brunswick motel. The room pictures on the internet is not what it looks like in the motel. This place is not maintained, there were spiders in the room, place smells like mold, bathroom bathtub has mold and cracked cocking. Room was freezing and damp like feeling in summer weather. Place feels like a dungeon. What upset us is that it was advertised as a hotel, with hotel prices, when there is no room service and pictures were deceiving on the internet. The right thing to do is advertise as a motel with motel prices. Super 8 is better than this. The bar and grill beside is renovated dont be fooled thinking the rest of the hotel/motel is like this.

Beds were comfortable and the services were decent. However one of our towels had some dried blood on it.

Bed was awesome and that's where it ends. First time reviewing anything online but this place was terrible and you should be informed. It took 20 minutes to check in. We were in the cold room for a minute and were brought a space heater because the heat is broken. Had drunk rednecks knocking on our door at night and this morning, housekeeping decides that 9 a. M. Is the time to come into our room. Go someplace else.

1: My reservation was wrong. 2: Registration happens in a tiny room off the bar, after you find the small sign on the patio. (Don't forget to grab your Tassimo pods, as they don't leave then in the rooms due to theft. ) 3: Had to park beside stinking garbage bins. 4: Back entrance into hotel had no lock or even a latch. Anyone can enter at any time. 5: Hallways absolutely reek of smoke on second floor. 6: Rooms smell stale and feel damp. Our clothes and luggage smelled a bit funky as I unpacked. 7: Bathroom door knob hanging from door. 8: Bathroom has exhaust fan, but is non-operational and covered in thick dust. 9: Tub surround broken, stained and caulking is separated. 10: Cute balcony… just don't lean on that railing! 11: Free Wi-Fi? Never worked. 12: Fantastic beds. This is not sarcasm. So comfortable that you could almost forget the list above… almost. 13: Group rate was $10 more than the "book online" rate. (?!? )

I don't ever review places so this means a lot. This place was terrible! I looked for the entrance to the Knights Inn and at first couldn't find it then finally found a small sign saying check in/out near the rear entrance to a local bar. We had to walk across the patio with people drinking, to a desk beside the bar. The bar tenders were registering us! We were informed our room was just past the bars bathroom and down the hall. So we walked through the bar, past the washroom and into a hall that smelled of cat piss and looked like a cat had had its way with the walls, the carpets and the ceiling. When we got to our room thankfully it didn't smell like cat pee. As for the room itself. The bath tub was tiny and had a crack across it. I can only assume that the crack opened to the pits of hell because clearly this is where I was. And as a final kick in the nuts they had a coffee maker but no coffee. Absolutely the worst motel/hotel experience ever and I've been to ones that were run by crack addicts. do not bring anyone you care here!
