The room I was in sucked! I can’t believe a multimillion dollar company can’t even supply glasses! Just paper cups I had to go out and buy some glasses just for us to have a half decent drink! The pillows were horrible and uncomfortable and absolutely no view! I used 100, 000 Hilton points which means my 2 night stay was costing me over 900.00. That’s ridiculous considering in Niagara Falls I get a luxury room for that price! And just because I did use my points they nailed me 250.00 smoking charge which I have never been charged before in Niagara Falls out of about 21 stays in a year and a half! They’ll never see my business again!

Downtown Toronto just blocks from. Roger Centre. Hotel was nice and clean. Parking was different but the hotel handled it well. Valet! So have cash. Hotel had air set in room, which was warm and you can only turn it down to 19.5C/. 67F hall stays very warm. Bed was good has adjustable air mattress, shower pressure was fantastic. Getting out of town was a bit confusing because cell connection was lagging due to tall buildings and watch for busy traffic coming in/out at peak office time. Busy busy city. Plenty to eat and see.

Facilities are clean and new. Nice hotel but nothing extraordinary. Great location within walking distance of Chinatown, Yonge Street and a ton of Toronto downtown shopping and dining establishments. Queen Street was also great for shopping and dining. The hotel doesn’t have parking facilities but there are many off-street parking lots available close by. We would stay here if we’re ever in the area again.

Its a nice place to stay of you want to be in downtown Toronto. Employees seem very attentive and willing to help. A bit pricey maybe but I guess that's what you would expect to pay for stating downtown.

Good hotel, great location downtown. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, the only issue was $48 for parking overnight… But it is downtown. The valet parking guys were awesome and even let me bring my bag down to my car once I checked out but wanted to leave the car parked. The rooms are a little dated and need sone TLC. My room had major stains on the carpet which was a little off putting. But the view was spectacular from the 17th floor.

Beautiful hotel. Great location. Love the updates to the rooms. Very friendly staff. Pool was very small — but kids still had a blast. If you stay here make sure you hit the restaurant — good was delicious and server Hubert was awesome! Very attentive.

This was the worst experience ever. Was taken advantage of because of my age. They had felt that they could charge us the $200 incidental because of no reason whatsoever. The service was disgusting this was handled so poorly. The manager accused me and my friends of smoking in the hotel. They charged us anyways and handled the entire situation poorly. They rummaged through our garbage tat I had cleaned up and neatly put away and through towels that were left in the washroom on the ground to be clean. This is disgusting and a money scam. I refuse to ever recommend this hotel as it was a complete scam for money. Rooms were small and crappy, service was horrible. Front desk and the people controlling the doors were constantly questioning where my friends and I were going. This place is discriminatory towards age. If you aren't an old ass person they will treat you with disrespect. If I could give this — 0 stars I would. Will never recommend or stay here ever again. Ageism. And most for sure racist towards brown folk. Never again in my life.

Booked here last minute. Room was good size and comfortable. It was a little outdated but all was clean. Expensive for what the room was but was an emergency reservation. Staff was helpful and polite. Location couldn't be beat for where it is in the city. Great restaurants near by, 10 min walk to the stadium and not much further a walk to the water.

Nice hotel but extremely poor experience with the reservation system. Cancelled rooms for the weekend which was reflective on my Hilton App, unbeknownst to me the reservation wasn't cancelled and the hotel charged me for the room. When contacted by hotel management, they were less than helpful and accommodating. Poor experience which is surprising as I usually have excellent interactions and service from Hilton properties. Management at this location are unreasonable and do not have the customers best interest in mind.

Well there were no bedbugs unlike another review. The floor (laminate) was not well cleaned. The alarm clock wasn't reset, so we were all woken at 7am. The fan had a bathroom, but that didn't work. The pool was well taken care of. The location was great — — near Rogers Centre. If this was a $99 Motel 6, it gets five stars. But it's not. It's a $370 Hilton, so I expect more.

Nice hotel and got a great rate. Our room, 511 was not very sound proof. We could hear the bar until closing from outside and we could hear the noise from the hallway like the people were in our room. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The only real complaint I have is how bad the scent of Cologne was everywhere in the hotel. It was like there was a Jersey Shore convention. The hotel can't do much but I think the circulation must be bad. It was the same scent all weekend.

The hotel is nice but the room are a little bit worn. Also, compared to other Hilton family hotels, the staff was not as friendly as I'm used to. Comfortable bed and linens and great location.

Location was fine, rooms are ok, service at the front desk was great, valet guys were not so great… in a10 stay, they were available once without waiting and asking front desk for valet.

This is the worst hotel! I'm never staying there again.

Don't stay here if you want to use the gym. As a frequent business traveler (80% on the road), I try and keep the travel twenty off by a run or weight session at the gym. Treadmill 1: belt is off center. Almost fell. Twice. Treadmill 2: belt is off center. Treadmill likes to randomly stop. Almost fell. Elliptical: wobbles and doesn't actually change resistance regardless of what it is set on. Told all of this to the front desk, and the best answer I could get was "I'll send someone up to look at it. " Don't go to the Tim's across the street unless you want to be harassed. It's also next to a gentleman's club, so I constantly heard yelling and street fights at late hours of the night. There aren't really tons of restaurant options super close. TLDR: Go to the other HGI in Toronto.

Best value in Toronto. Pros: Cheap! $139 for a king room, clean!, microwave and K cup coffee maker, pool and hot tub, close to everything. Cons: $35 for parking — a little steep (you can also park across the road for $8 day but its not secure), some of the staff do not understand English very well and I don't even have an accent!, we booked a king room and got a queen room. But WE needed to tell them their mistake. And it's not the first time this happened. Conclusion: This hotel is a great place to stay. You get a little more for what you pay for. I will be going back.

Excellent stay. Central for all our needs. Petfect staff, everyone so helpful. Special mention to Cory on reception and Arif in the breakfast lounge. A fab time.

I had a reservation of 3 rooms 2 people per room. Upon arrival the Front desk staff were really friendly and courteous then as we all went out for the night and came back we lost the key for one of the rooms the front desk staff said you have to many people were going to charge you for more people I said theyre already registered in the room. The guy continued to make fun of us saying were liars. I said think all you want to they are all registered im not paying more. He said ok dont worry im watching you security will keep heavy watch on your rooms now to.? seriously REAL BS! only reason I got this hotel because it was 2 minute walk from eaton center.

Right behind the hotel is a homeless shelter. Several times people came up and banged on our car door asking for things. To the point where we didn't fee safe.

The service was excellent, the room was nice and theocratic was perfect!

This is a lovely hotel, well located and nicely furbished. The staff at the front desk were over-zealous to the point of being creepy, but this may have been a cultural difference, as I'm a conservative European. I stayed for 3 weeks on business, and although the room was clean when I moved in, the standards soon deteriorated. Housekeeping apparently visited the room daily, but within a week I was staying in a room with no toilet paper and dirty bedsheets (although I'd specifically requested them to be replaced). The room had no kettle but had a microwave, coffee maker and refrigerator. The fresh coffee was a nice touch, but frankly quite useless without milk, which was never provided. The microwave and coffee maker were NEVER cleaned, so I had to clean these myself. The refrigerator was old and broken, my juice fell out of the broken door. The ice bucket wasn't cleaned by the housekeepers, and I found melted ice still in it, day after day. Overall — a potentially nice hotel, but they have a serious need for some new housekeepers.
