Beds are so comfortable and very clean!

Great spot. Close to everything.

I am not one to complain but will not be staying here again. Our room was not ready until almost 5 pm when check in was 3pm. It wasn’t until the manager (i assume she was and very kind) came in that they even offered to put us in a different room that wasn’t assigned to us. Not an upgrade or anything. This was a treat for my kids for the night and missing 2 hours in the hotel may not seen like a lot but it was to us when the prices of hotels are so much for a short stay. Very sad this happened but looking back at reviews it has happened a lot and we will travel out of new glasgow now for a night away.

Came to check in at 3. Our room was not ready; they told us they would call so we left and went to the mall and wandered for two hours and still didn’t get a call and finally came back and magically our room was ready. Desk clerk was not helpful and said we could have come and hung out in the lobby with no where to safely store our bags. Very disappointed and wouldn’t recommend to anyone.

They have an awesome breakfast and very comfy beds. Their kids rooms are the best!

Clean rooms and pool, :) friendly staff. Would definitely recommend. One problem our window was facing just outside pool area and privacy. Otherwise a good experience.

I had a great 2 night stay at the Holiday Inn recently. Very clean hotel and enjoyed the pool and hot tub. My only complaint is that the designated smoking area is outside near the main entrance. It was annoying having to walk past smokers to get from the parking lot to the hotel. I'd recommend that they move the smoking area farther away from the main entrance.

I have stayed at this location twice and both times were excellent for the rating of the hotel. If you are staying in New Glasgow, don't even bother looking at the other hotels. This is a no-brainer. Extremely friendly staff, free breakfast, and very clean and modern rooms as the hotel is quite new. Pool and water slide for the family and a (small) weight/exercise facility on site.

Good hotel unless you plan on sleeping. The doors in this hotel SLAM shut. Starting at 6am all you hear is slamming doors. We got in late and wanted to sleep until 8am. No chance. Nobody can sleep here past 6am. Everything that happens in the hallways sounds as if it is happening IN your room. That includes people coming in late and talking to each in the hallway. Plus we could hear the people above us. There is no sound insulation in this building. The barking dog somewhere in the hotel at 630am didn't help either. The hotel rooms are clean. The hotel is relatively new. But the overriding factor is you cannot get a good night sleep here.

This was a fabulous night's stay! The beds were Very comfortable, a the pool and gym very nice. Our shower control broke in the evening, so the night staff very graciously offered us another room to shower in for the next day. They also discounted our rate upon checkout. The staff more than made up for the inconvenience. Great service! Thank you!

The rooms are really clean, the bedsheets were white and nice, the floor is carpeted and clean, and the washroom is also spotless. However the washroom seems a bit small and the air conditioning system can be quiter. Overall the hotel meets what I would expect from a proper Holiday Inn hotel. Enjoying my stay so far!

Was only there for the night but found it to be a comfortable stay and found the staff to be very polite and helpful.

Great location and clean rooms. Tried to stay a little closer to town, but this was basically the only one available that could have 2 rooms. Definitely wasn't upset with that. Was quieter staying here and actually think the location was better. Would stay here again when back in town for sure.

Really poor response to noise complaints. If you are looking for a quiet place to stay while you're on a work trip I would not recommend to come here. I had to complain 3 times about children screaming, running up and down the halls, and knocking on my door (and then running away). This went on for hours, and only died down at around 8:00pm (when they were going to bed) no thanks to the staff. I had some important work to do that I couldn't actually get done one night, because the noise was so distracting and loud, and nothing was being done to minimize it. I was also informed that there had been multiple complaints from others about this same issue to the point where security was walking up and down the halls, but not saying anything to the kids or their parents (which was confusing). Other than that my stay was good, but I will be choosing somewhere else next time I need a hotel.

This is the newest and most modern place to stay in New Glasgow. Great rooms, great breakfast buffet, great pool with slide. All very clean. Lots of great places to stay in New Glasgow, but this is the higher-end.

We stayed in a room with a jacuzzi in it and we could only use it for like 10 minutes because the jets were not working right. Also we could hear the people on top of us walking and talking and the ceiling was creaking while doing that. I can understand in the same hallway of that happening but not a floor above us! Staff were nice, breakfast was really good.

Good location, close to the exit off the highway but somewhat hidden on a back street. Good early morning breakfast. Rooms are clean and modern. TV is small and not much room to sit other than on the beds. Pool is on the smaller side but has a slide. New fitness centre, mostly just free weights.

Our one night stay for a soccer tournament was great. Olivia on the front desk was very customer-friendly and helpful.

Everything was clean and the staff were excellent. Took a dip in the pool and spent a relaxing evening in the room. Quiet, clean and lovely.

Overall a great place, minus the shower situation. Hate the bathroom so much… defiantly need a tub or a door that closes to the shower and able to open the bathroom door without having to stand in the shower!

Our room was starting to look a little tired — that being said the room was clean. Staff was friendly and allowed us a late check-out without fees. Pool slide is a bonus for the kids! Would stay again!

Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable. Mini-fridge didn't get super cold but was usable. The TV said that you could rent movies but it didn't work when I tried it. Overall nice hotel.

This is absolutely the worst experience I had with a hotel. Here on a hockey tourney with tons of kids. The kids are looking to have fun as for most it's a new experience. Constantly having the security guards barking orders on the rules is absurd. Before the night started I was sitting in the lobby and the staff told the two guards that they need to watch the team floors. Nice start. The kids were quiet and pretty much on iPads all night. Yet we were menaces. $150 to be treated like this. Compensation deserves to be given.

Not the biggest hotel in the world, but sure gets everything right. Great service, super clean environment, towels in the gym, complimentary breakfast… what else could you ask for?

The cheap build makes this a very very noisy hotel. You can hear every conversation in the rooms around you and can hear people above you walking all the time. This is an expensive hotel, about the same as a Marriott in a large city.

Lovely hotel. Clean and comfortable room although a bit pricey. A great selection of food for breakfast. Good place to stay.
