Halifax Hotels

We have stayed at this location many times because we love being on the waterfront. The rooms all have a great view and the staff are welcoming and helpful.

Love the location. Staff are friendly and helpful. Valet parking available. Rooms were great. My bed was so comfortable.

Location was excellent — close to everything we need from food, attractions, and the harbour. Room was comfortable — however, it was loud on the side facing north at night. I would recommend requesting a room facing south or west. I was on the third floor and the street noise does get up to you. Breakfast was good. It was very busy. Both days had a completely packed breakfast room. Make sure to get there earlier rather than later.

I was there for work. Room was clean and quiet (but guests in other rooms complained about noise). It's a rowdy part of town on the weekends. Service was friendly and the location was convenient. The kitchenette was full featured. I'd stay again.

Had a great experience there. Location is very close to the boardwalk in Halifax where there are lovely restaurants and souvenir shops. By paying a little more you can get a nice breakfast on the second floor to start your day. Close to restaurants and other sights.

Front staff was very friendly and efficient. Parking is 20/night but we got a package with our room that made it only 10/night when you book through their own site. Room was very clean and the bed/mattress was very comfortable (most important). You do hear noise from the hall as people come and go but it's the same as any similar hotel. There's a weird courtyard in the centre that seems perpetually under construction and our room looked out over it.

Inexpensive way to stay in Halifax.

Spent two weeks most relaxing enjoyable stay, bus stop outside of Howell hall. If you wanted food three meals a day it was available. Fast internet available in the price. Much cheaper than hotel for a senior.

I always enjoy the Delta as it is clean and has modern amenities. These are the fancy rooms that you see in some of Halifax is more pricey locations but it completely matches the prices in the quality that they purport. I always enjoying my stay.

I stayed here 2 nights for a wedding and to see Halifax. I found the service and staff were great. The rooms are getting a little dated, but they're not bad. You have to walk elsewhere downtown for good restaurants and attractions but everything is pretty close in Halifax.

I liked this hotel. It was a nice 15 minute walk to the Halifax Convention Centre. The Atlantica has a decent bar and lounge on the main floor. The rooms were nice if just a bit dated — nothing to worry about though. The beds were comfortable and the linens were clean. The prices were very reasonable compared to some of the hotels close to the convention centre. I would stay here again.

Originally was here for a 1-night stay and we decided to stay an extra night as we wanted to see more of Halifax. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. The hotel is a short walk to the museum of natural history and close to Spring Garden shopping area. Friendly staff and on site garage indoor parking ($20 extra per night).

Great place Clean and Comfy. No frills but just what we needed.

Clean. Clean… clean… and I went around before I booked. Our room was nice, a/c comfortable, fridge and kitchenette for the price was great. Check out the harbour behind the motel amazing. We are going back!

Had an amazing stay at this hotel. Rooms and staff and amenities are world class. Staff really make you feel like their first priority, and the location is nearby to all kinds of great food and locations around downtown Halifax. Even has a shuttle that will take you anywhere within 2km of the hotel. Would recommend a stay here to anyone, and would suggest they take full advantage of the amenities they offer.

Our recent stay at Muir was a wonderful experience. The staff was outstanding and very prompt to respond to our requests. The amenities and spa were fantastic. Our room was spacious and luxurious, with great views of the harbour. The hotel’s location is perfect, right at the waterfront and a short walk from most restaurants/pubs. Would love to visit again.

Was booked at this hotel by Air Canada. Although the time spent there was only about four to five hours, the ambience and cleanliness made the short sleep a sweet and sound one.

We came here for our anniversary and my husband’s birthday (both on the same day). The hotel staff wrote us a lovely card and left treats in the room. The hotel is gorgeous, with a great location overlooking the Public Gardens. The staff are friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was delicious. The hotel offers packages that make a stay more affordable. The entire place is elegant and full of history, yet inviting and comfortable. I can’t say enough wonderful things. We will be back.

Stayed over for a night with a tour group. The staff was extremely friendly and even threw us a welcome party with cocktail and cake. The rooms were great and super tidy. Furthermore, they gave us water and snacks for our trip the next day. Would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Halifax or Dartmouth.

A nice hotel, comfortable beds and clean. The hot breakfast included has a lot of options which is nice. The common areas of the hotel look old but the rooms have been renovated. A walking distance to the superstore and the lake Banook (a very enjoyable place to walk). Not a lot of restaurant options nearby. Still a good quality-price ratio.
