Halifax Hotels

The room was clean and spacious, perfect for a family of two adults and two teenagers. There was a kitchenette. The supplementary lunch was basic but well provided. The reception was adequate.

Served it's purpose as a place to sleep. Room was clean and the staff friendly. The breakfast was a little slim, but that might have been due to the high volume of people ahead of me. Overall, it serves it's purpose as a cheaper alternative to staying in Halifax.

Great place to hold a conference.

The Westin has phenomenal conference service and catering staff. Truly top notch!

The hotel has been renovated since we were last there. The rooms are beautiful. The whole area around the hotel has been developed. We loved all the facilities that the motel has to offer. The staff have been very helpful. We loved our stay.

I love the location of the hotel. The restaurant serves wonderful meals. Any staff I've encountered are very helpful & friendly. The beds are comfy.

The staff were friendly and helpful. My boyfriend surprised me with decorations and an upgrade to the room. We enjoyed our weekend for my 50th birthday. It’s a central location too.

Great size rooms and hospitality.

Stayed here for quite a few nights with my kiddos while on a recent trip to NS. Clean rooms with good layouts. Good service and nice pool that my kids really enjoyed (slide and splash pad are awesome). Would stay again!

Exquisite setting overlooking McNab's & and George's Island as well as the mouth of Halifax Harbour and the Northwest Arm. Dreamy, romantic rooms. Beautiful, bountiful breakfasts. Sweet hosts. Highly recommend!

I've been meaning to leave a review for this B&B for a while, but I always forget! But here I am now, though a little late. My colleague and I are wedding photographers in Halifax and we've photographed here a couple of times now. It's such a beautiful and charming venue, and the staff are so kind and accommodating! Their rooms are beautiful, and the view of the ocean is so peaceful.

I had a great chat with the reserveration clerk when I called to book a pet-friendly room for the weekend, and upon arrival, the woman who checked me in gave me a goody bag for our dog that had a toy, some treats, and a map to nearby parks and other pet-friendly locations. Our dog loved his warm welcome, and we really love the great location and fantastic service.

We just came home from a weekend here and don’t have enough good things to say! Rooms were clean, staff were friendly, pool is small but did the trick, water slide was great, splash pad provided endless fun for the kids. Hotel restaurant was delicious and service was fantastic. Starbucks in the lobby was also a great touch! Will definitely be high on our list of local hotels for staycations! The $10 per family ice cream buffet was a huge hit for our family!

Beautiful hotel well with the money.

Room condition was fair for the price. Bed is comfortable enough. Receptionist was very helpful and told us where to get good food and things to see as we are tourists. The only issue was that the curtain blocks the AC, very poor design. We had to manually fold the curtain and use water bottles to stop it from blocking the AC. Also, water temperature adjustment was super sensitive. You can get either very cold or very hot water by miss alignment of submilimeter.

Very nice hotel! Rooms were beautiful and very clean, and Dwayne at the front desk was very helpful and accommodating with our rooms and with suggestions on what to see/do in the area. Great restaurant next door was convenient! The only downside was the rooms were not very soundproof so we could hear kids running around a few rooms over — pretty late at night too. But overall, we would definitely stay again!

This is the hidden gem of Halifax. Great location, fantastic rooms, complimentary breakfast, and two roof top patios to watch the sun set! Would highly recommend.

Fantastic place clean and pet friendly. Has a fridge and microwave but should have coffee machine too. Needs to update furniture bed was clean and comfortable. Will return again price is right and so was location. Thanks for having us.

While having been through some housing issues, I found Granville Hall Residence at the last minute to move out of my previous place. All the staff were super kind, quickly responsive, and helpful in finding the most comfortable home for me. I really appreciate it. I have been staying at Hotel Halifax for three months, which is one of the hotels in HRM that Granville Hall offers for student housing during academic years, and the stay here is very comfortable with satisfactory hotel services.

The rooms are great, they are very comfy and the amenities are also pretty great. The staff was nice and welcoming and the location was the best part. Super close to everything!
