New and clean, modern. Nice views and the restaurant, North 46, is amazing.

For a dinner reservation… the experience was terrible. Waitress spilled a drink on our table. She did not apologize nor did she change our table cloth… we sat at a soaked table that narrowly missed my dress I wore for what I thought would have been a beautiful new years dinner. Terrible customer service, no greetings from her, or smile… rushed our main course onto dessert and failed to bring utensils for it. Hire or train all your staff to be courteous and presentable to your customers… fake smile atleast if u hate your job.

Our first stay and it was absolutely beautiful. Rooms were really nice with great view of the North channel. Lobby was gorgeous with fireplace, Christmas tree and huge windows with fabulous views. Beautiful natural theme through. Shower was actually high enough for a tall guy like me unlike having to do the limbo in other hotel showers. Staff was friendly and helpful! Restaurant was really good for breakfast too. Can’t wait to go back.

WOW! I’ve stayed at many hotels in my life and I can honestly say this is by far is the best. It’s cozy, stunning, has great staff and delicious food in the restaurant. The main lobby took my breathe away. The view from our room was stunning. I told everyone that I want to live there now.

I stayed here this past weekend and the entire experience that amazing. The rooms were nice and clean, staff was great and the food was awesome! I wouldn't stay anywhere else! Thank you!

Have stayed at this hotel several times for work and for pleasure. My experience has always been positive. The staff are very friendly and helpful to make your visit a positive experience. The restaurant has very good food and a wide variety on the menu. The serving staff are always friendly and eager to accommodate. Will continue to return to this hotel.

Stopped for breakfast but couldn't get in because of a private function. Hotel staff were friendly and helpful, and the bathrooms were immaculate! I'd love to spend a night here.

Overall this was quite a pleasant experience. The view was gorgeous, staff were friendly and helpful, the bed was comfy and the price was quite reasonable. They've done a lovely job integrating the First-Nations culture of Manitoulin into the hotel. I enjoyed my stay and would return.

A great place. Beautiful interior with a with stunning views and wonderful first nations art adorning the walls. The staff is also incredibly friendly and helpful! I would recommend this place to anyone coming out to manitoulin.

The hotel itself is fine. Clean, friendly staff, character-free mid-priced hotel of which there are thousands nation-wide. No problem. The restaurant deserves 3 stars at best. Over-priced and under-delivered. Our party had four different dishes. Not one was better than bland. For the money, patrons deserve better. Not recommended.

Have yet to stay here, since we own beach front on Huron, so my review is based on what I've seen so far. Hotel is stunning! One of the prettiest I've seen in a long time. Super casual but in a very gorgeous way. The lobby staff seem super friendly, and always cheerful, when you come in. Restaurant is great. Food was very good, and pretty decent wait time to order and receive food. Hubby is hoping to host an event at the conference center some time in the future.

We had our wedding at MHCC last weekend. All the staff were so accommodating and friendly. Corey was great to work with throughout all the planning and was very quick to answer my many emails… I would definitely recommend the hotel for wedding receptions — the conference centre is beautiful and there are so many places for great pictures. Dinner and dessert were also fantastic! A big thank you to the staff for making our special day so perfect!

It is a nice new hotel, the rooms were big and nicely decorated. The restaurant at the hotel was great, and served good local beers on tap. The hotel is on the water and there is a boardwalk by the marina nearby.

An upscale hotel interior with the expected amenities. Internet is slow but usuable. The view is breathtaking at sunset, and the pool is nice as well.

Went there for the buffet Canada day special. Didn't stay there so it is strictly on the food and service. The service was pretty lackluster, the waitresses didn't seem happy being there and never smiled. Eventually they stopped coming back to check up on us after the first three times. The food itself was okay. Wasn't anything special and the chicken was dry inside. The venison was okay and different as I never tasted it before.

Its good but, the washroom has less facility such as least soaps rooma are great, paid 150$ for one night with 2 queen beds. Location is the best, besides a lake, view is a bliss!

Views are goregous if you are facing the water. Lobby is very inviting. Furniture in rooms looks like student furniture, fridge and microwave are appreciated. No bath tub. Pool is closed. Restaurant is not available if conference is going on. Basement confernece room is not finished and should not be rented out. The hotel has the potential to be a 5 star with some staff training and upgrades. Food was marginal, but that was the conference food never ate at the restaurant.

Clean and well maintained. The lady who checked us in during our visit in June was very friendly and helpful.

Very helpful staff I went in to ask about long term accommodation however they only have short term stay.

Room was what was expected for $120.00 per night, but the service was very poor. Amongst the reasons for choosing this hotel, was the fact that it had a restaurant, with a pretty good menu. So we booked in at 2:45 p. M. Got ourselves settled in the room, had a couple of drinks and rested. When we turned up to eat at 7:00 p. M. There was a notice on the door of the restaurant that it was not opening that day after 2:00 p. M. The same notice was also posted on the top of the counter at the reception. When we asked why, we were eventually told that the serving waitress had had a medical emergency at 3:00 p. M. And would not be able to work that night, so the restaurant was closed. But another restaurant was only a few minutes drive away. When we said we'd had a drink, and would have to walk, we were advised that it was only a 7 minute walk. I did point out that it was snowing, and not a nice evening, but they didn't respond. No offer of a taxi at their expense, or a reduction in our bill, nothing. We suspect that the real reason the restaurant was closed was fit to lack of guests. There were two other cars in the parking lot when we walked to another restaurant, where we had an excellent meal and service. Not recommended to stay here! Poor communication and expensive!

Very friendly staff. Clean modern rooms. Excellent restaurant with views of the North Channel. Wi-Fi did not work. Shower was leaking very badly. Overall it was a good stay but next time I'd stay somewhere else.

I was in Little Current during their grand opening a couple years ago. Unfortunately I wasn't staying there. I wish I had. So this time I made sure I stayed there. The accommodations were wonderful. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and my waiter on August 21st was very, very good. One suggestion — finish the landscaping especially around the patio (cut down trees and scrub brush to improve view of the channel, build fence in front of the garbage bins — so diners on the patio don't have to look at them. )

If your looking for the best hotel in the Manitoulin Island or in the general 100km vicinity then this is most definately the spot. The place is conveniently located just as you arrive on the island. The moment you cross the swing bridge you arrive. If you do get a chance to see the bridge in action it's quite the show. The parking lot has loads of space and it's next to a great ice cream shop. The moment you step inside this newly built hotel (2013) you notice the attention to heritage and design. It definitely makes you feel like your on the island. Front desk staff is super friendly and polite. They were very quick to check me in. As you can tell from the pics the rooms are super clean and new. Beds are comfy. The shower was great. The restaurant on site has amazing locally sourced game menu items as well as normal typically items to choose from. Overall I give this place 5 stars because I had absolutely nothing negative to say about Manitoulin Hotel.

Stayed for 3 nights with our car club to attend Haweater Festival. Rooms were clean and beds comfy. Restaurant meals were great and the Saturday night banquet was fantastic. Hotel staff accommodating to our group's needs. Would recommend.

Clean room, great restaurant with a view. We had a very pleasant breakfast on the patio. Pool area not so much — no view at all and a cold pool (in the 70's). Location is convenient if you're heading north. We would stay here again.

Very clean rooms. Comfortable beds with fluffy pillows. Nice native art and decor throughout the hotel. Delicious meals served at the restaurant inside the hotel and great service.

Very good hotel right off the Little Current swing bridge. Great location with wonderful vacation view of the lake and mountains if you get the lakeside suites. Rooms are decent size and beds are quite comfortable. Nice decor and well furnished. Keep in mind that it is a 3 star hotel so don't expect to find a big gym or bar. They do have a pool though. But if you are looking for a place to stay, I would highly recommend! Free Wi-Fi too!
