Highly recommend! Comfy and clean rooms, central location, and it was and easy walk to restaurants in the area. The owner was super friendly and accommodating! Looking forward to staying there on our next visit to Manitoulin Island!

We stayed in a second floor unit. Was large clean room fairly updated and reasonably priced. Owners were friendly and motel was being updated. Would recommend it and will stay there again some day.

Cute little place to sleep. Small space lumpy beds great a. C. Controlled by each room… very thin walls. Can hear other peoples conversations and neighbors snoring.

Great stay. Staff were very helpful and friendly. Nice to be so close to restaurants and downtown. Definitely recommend the Hawberry.

This was a great motel. The rooms were updated nicely. Super comfortable beds. Very quiet. Close to everything. Good price. Really enjoyed our stay there. Would stay here again if they allowed small dogs… even in one or two designated rooms.

It was better than we expected. It was spacious and located in a very convenient place. There was a gas station across from it and it is next to a grocery store. The only issue was the bathroom water/plumbing system; the shower would run out of hot water randomly.

This is mainly contractors motel. My room had an unfinished bathroom, no air conditioning, not the best place for vacationers. As I said, there were at least 10 members of the road crew staying there.

Nice staff, reasonable price, we'll stay here again our next time through town, while a bit rundown everything seemed clean enough.

Place is great, clean and comfortable. Owners are also very nice. Always renovating to make a place more welcoming.

Good place to stay for the night when you're on a road trip. Nice and close to cafes and restaurants, and right beside a Valumart in case you need to restock for the road. Doesn't have all the bells and whistles that you would get with a pricier hotel, but that's not why you stay at motels anyways.

Stayed there good rates clean rooms friendly people run it will stay there again.

Room was fine, friendly staff. The parking lot was never plowed though it snowed heavily. No hot water when we arrived but it was resolved without us even asking. Mattress has seen better days.

Manager was very nice. Booking and checking in was easy enough. Room was very cold despite heat being turned up and functional. Just couldn't keep up with the weather outside! I imagine it would be fine in any weather above 0°c. Bathroom had the neat feature of being able to brush your teeth and wash your face while sitting on the toilet… If that's what you're in to.

I had family come in from toronto for christmas and put them in this motel. They were both treated very kindly and said the rooms were very clean. We were provided with terrific value and service and would highly recommend this spot to anybody visiting the Island! Thanks guys! Ryan Yiu, Tough Construction.

Excellent quality for the price! Very Clean. The service is amazing! I left my eyeglass in the hotel. They mailed it me without charging extra! Even the postage, they said I can pay them after I receive my eyeglass. The lady at reception was great! She was super nice & very honest when I booked the room over the phone. The whole experience was amazing! This will be definitely my lifetime hotel in that area.

It's ok. The bed is hard and it's no fancy place but it's a place to stay.

It's a bed, nothing fancy. People who run the place are nice. If you're stuck inside the Wi-Fi is hit or miss. It is what it is, small place to sleep.

Loved the location so close to the water front with everything you need located just a hop from the hotel such as the Grocery store, Gas station, restaurants, LCBO etc.

For a low cost motel, it's fine. Clean but needs work. Bathroom is bizarre in our room, have to squeeze past the sink to sit on the toilet and because of its proximity to the toilet standing up is difficult. Nice to have air conditioning but it is super loud. Not enough outlets for charging things.

My parents rented a room at the hawberry motel when we got there the lady seemed very nice however when we got to the non smokismoking room all you could smell was stale smoke and the room bathroom is very very small.

I'm so happy to find this forum. I just want to share my experience how good I feel in Hawberry motel. The room was so comfortable and well design. The staff was very responsive and helpful and it is Great place to stay here.

This place is beautiful! Looks exactly like it does in the pictures! It is in a quiet location, in walking distance of many restaurants and cafes! Will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family and will pick this place first when I come back!

My brother and I visited the Motel in Feb of 2016. We had a great time staying there. The heated pool was great as was the service. We would love to stay there again!

I had a great experience staying at Hawberry Motel. I was taken great care of by the friendly staff. Nice and Clean Room. Everything was maintained everyday beds, coversheet etc. Stayed there for 3 days. Will recommend anyone visiting hawberry to stay there. Will visit you again. A big thumbs up.

My wife love this place… I would this is best motel I have ever stayed. I have stayed around 10-12 motels till now in Usa and canada. But hawberry is best in terms of price and quality. Bed are very soft, front desk very polite, nice place to roam around. Whenever I go to littlecurrent I always stay in hawberry motel.

Usually go to Manitoulin on business. Nice place, clean and you get everything you need to stay for night or two. Standard room I stayed in, it's got fridge, tv, heat, Hot water and Wi-Fi (love it). Bathroom bit small, if you're a big person, I would recommend Deluxe rooms, bigger rooms with bigger bathrooms. I don't mind standard room. It's always my self or come with my husband. Very convenient, Shall gas cross the street, Valumart grocery and foodland right beside the motel. Owner and staff are great people. If you're not looking for high rise building and money. I would recommend this place. Thanks guys.

I was there on last summer its was one of the nice and comfortable. Even staff were very familiar and always on time.

I stayed at Hawberry Motel for 2 nights during a business trip to the manitoulin island and had a great stay! The motel staff is very friendly, and you will have an excellent service everywhere. I stayed at the Deluxe room and they were large and comfortable. The other hotel next to it was extremely pricy, only because they had a swimming pool, which I dont care about anyways. Hawberry motel is Good value for money on the island.

I was staying at another motel — hotel in Little Current and it was very noisy so I decided to come to Hawberry Motel in the middle of the night. The manager was very welcoming and comforting, I was lucky that I got a room because the motel otherwise looked Full. The rooms were very neat and clean and the mattress felt like they were brand new, not sure if they were. Had the most pleasant sleep that night. I would rate this as the best motel on Manitoulin Island. I will definitely come back next year.

Booked online — looked like basic motel, inexpensive. Found room to be very clean and extremely quiet — great for family to stay in.

I have stayed at Hawberry Motel on number of occassions. The rooms and washrooms are very clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and personable. If you need to stay in Little Current, Manitoulin Island HIGHLY RECCOMENDED.
