Horrible service and treat their staff horribly. Will not be going there.

Charged $140 a night for an “air conditioned” room for my mother who needed to get out of the heat during this heat wave. They advertised AC but their unit did NOT work. It blew hot air. My mom left early because she couldn’t pay that much for a room that didn’t actually have AC. She check out one night earlier than she paid for and they wouldn’t give her her money back because she didn’t give 24 hours notice… After paying $650 to try to keep cool…. This is absolutely insane during a heat wave and they better believe that I’ll make sure people hear about it.

Worst customer service I have ever had food was cold when it got to the table took 45 minutes to a hour for food 20 minutes to get our drinks stood around waiting to be seated for another 10 to 15 minutes while there was 4 empty dirty tables waited about another 20 minutes for the bill, watched tables sit dirt for over a half hour no team work as to staff members, and listened to a young waitress stand near the kitchen mocking customers.

Enjoyed a nice hot coffee on the patio today. Huge shout outs to the owner for the FABULOUS music. Had a wonderful time, would definitely reccomend Scott's to a friend!

Ordered Veggie Quesadilla tonight. Had it delivered and low and behold there is chicken in it. Not very happy with my non returnable dinner I can't eat.

Servers here are excellent and the food is so good! I come in for lunch with my grandson and the servers couldn’t be nicer. They even remember the extra pickles and mayonnaise.

We stopped here for the night on our way from Jasper to Vancouver and it was a great motel. The front desk staff was so friendly and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The restaurant had great, affordable food with fast service. Kudos to the kitchen and service staff! Not sure about all of the rooms, but our room had a kitchen and we were able to cook our own breakfast before heading out the next morning.

We love it here. Always stay on our way through. Best place.

Service and customer care that goes above and beyond… AMAZING, homestyle food and large menu… but it's the personable interaction that stands out far above everything else. Was driving through and stopped for a bite to eat. Great little restaurant. The food was good and portions were large. I love places that aren't a big chain and this fit the bill perfectly.

Scott's serves the best bison burger in Kamloops! My family always makes sure to make a lunch stop here when visiting the city. Never disappoints!

Diane is amazing! She's always so friendly and inviting when I go there to eat. Diane always gives me her best advice on what to order if I'm unsure and she always brings me out ice cold water and knows that I will have a glass of wine with my meal. She's my absolute favorite! I didnt stay in the hotel I went to the restaurant only. If you are passing through town and want a good place to eat then go here absolutely. Big portions of good food followed by great service. All of our meals were large and delicious. Great outdoor seating too. Would recomend!

Come here for work regularly, turned into my home away from home. Might not be frivolous, but it has everything you need for a good night's sleep.

Good Inn, Mediocre Restaurant. The location is great for someone passing through, not far off the highway. The room was fine, no problems. About what you'd expect from a motel, but limited parking. The continental breakfast is at the attached restaurant, where you can choose two options from today, a muffin or cold cereal; or, you can get a 10% discount on hot food. They seem to be understaffed, as we waited a long time to be seated when we arrived, and to pay afterwards.

I've used this motel many times in my life, always been a good experience, clean, well maintained, comfortable rooms, very affordable rates, and friendly staff, family owned business so they really care about their guests experience and their facilities. Will continue to stay here when in town!

I stayed for two nights. My stay was very nice and quiet. I booked one room through their website. It was not available I was upgraded to a bigger room. It was very clean and quiet. I will be returning to stay again once I get the chance. I look forward to my stays there. The restaurant is excellent.

The rooms are super clean and the bed was new and comfy. A bit small for a 2 week stay for me but pet friendly and customer service is obviously the number 1 priority here.

Friendly staff and a clean, recently renovated room with nice but not fancy fixtures. A well cared for location. I would stay here again.

Homestyle food in massive portions at great prices. The menu selection is quite wide and to my knowledge it's all great. The fries in particular were spectacular.

I am a long haul truck driver and stay at hotels all over BC, Scott’s inn is superior to all. The staff are so nice, the rooms are so impeccably clean, classy and not at all tacky, the price is great, and the food is unbelievably awesome. Best hotel I have ever stayed in!

We went for lunch and were not disappointed. The food is fresh, hot, and flavourful, and there are options for everyone! We loved the cozy atmosphere.

This is one of kamloops oldest spots for breakfast. The food, especially breakfast, is great and at great prices. The waitresses are busy and always pleasant. I haven't had an order wrong, which is very rare nowadays when I eat out. I never had to ask for my beverage topped up or refilled as the waitresses filled my water and coffee before it was required. This restaurant also has an old diner feel.

Decent rooms, but weak Wi-Fi and the pool/jacuzzi was closed our entire stay. The restaurant offers good food at reasonable prices.

Went for breakfast this morning & I had the special which was the amigo omelet. It literally was the most disgusting thing on a plate I think I've ever seen. It almost seemed as though the cook accidentally dumped the whole jar of spicy shitty salsa & then decided to serve it up anyways. I probably should have complained although I know the server heard us talking about how disgusting it was & it was clearly not eaten as it was splayed all over the plate, & she didn't even ask how are meals were anyway. Will not be back… I wish I had of taken a picture!

Clean, comfortable and friendly. Wifi was very slow when you were able to connect. Food was good.

The stay at the end was quite nice. The room was clean and warm and the staff is very friendly. Was disappointed in the restaurant. When we went to have our breakfast we were seated and then forgotten about. People that had come in after us had been seated given menus and their orders taken and not one staff came to see what we required.

We went to Scott's Inn for lunch on a Friday afternoon and it is clearly a local favourite. The food was very good and quite inexpensive. Everything tasted homemade and not from a box. The service was quick and friendly. We've heard great recommendations from friends about this restaurant for any meal and we would come back again!

The food is great. The service is prompt and friendly. We dine there often before going to the theatre and we are never worried about being late.

I went to Scott's Inn with my family and felt like a big bother to our main waitress. I got their late because I had just gotten off work so when I got there I sat down and the waitress didn't even acknowledge that I came for at least 5 minutes so then my auntie spoke up and said that I would like to order and she talked to my auntie about me like I wasn't even there saying "what do they want? " made me feel so irrelevant. When we asked for a dessert menu to end the meal she snapped back and said that they didn't have dessert menus but she would be back to tell us what they had. After waiting for another 10 minutes we decided to leave and go for dessert somewhere else, she came to the till as we were paying and told the cashier that she didn't get to tell us the dessert menu. We all thought to ourselves really? now you want to tell us, now that we are leaving. One of the worst experiences I've had, a place should never make you feel such an inconveinence like that. The food was good but I wouldn't go back unless that waitress is fired.

Avoid like the plague! Air conditioner wire is electrical taped and a fire waiting to happen. When transferring rooms laptop was stolen from the room. Who else could it have been but a staff member? No one.

Very injoyable night out. Staff are amazing and hard works. Staff alway are smiling. They try to make each customer happy.

For an overnight stopover away from the bustle of the city, Scott's was ideal. The room was clean, comfortable and well appointed, and the staff super-friendly and helpful. The on-line restaurant was OK for the evening meal, and the breakfast was good. If staying downtown is unimportant, this place is great.

Clean and very efficient. It's dated but well maintained. Windows do not open. Good for an overnight stop.

First time ever in the restaurant and it was fantastic. We did have a wait for a seat and for our food but to be fair we got there at 6:00 pm, right in the middle of the rush. The proportions were huge and tasted great. Well worth the price. The only downside to the whole visit was my daughter's fries were not hot. Will definetly be back.

Nice rooms with friendly service Rooms: spacious rooms with nice large comfortable beds however they do have thin walls so you may hear some interesting goings on. Breakfast: Separate restaurant area serving breakfast and other meals. Big portions if you go for the cooked breakfast option. Service: Friendly service from the start can't fault.

Went out of their way to help me when I was stranded from a blizzard last Christmas with my 2 dogs. Has a great restaurant that's got home cooked meals and a green space for dogs to walk and do their business. This Inn is also a 5 min drive to a unleashed dog park. Rooms are modest but very functional. I was treated well on my last stay. Will stay again when I have the dogs.

Bad service, rude owners, and terrible food. Also you could see marks on the meat where the jockey was hitting it.

After a long night out with the boys there's no better place to go for breakfast than Scott's. The pancakes are insanely huge. Really good value. Perfect greasy-spoon-diner.

A lovely quaint place to have a quick or a fully loaded breakfast, served with a warm smile and hot freshly brewed coffee… I had one of my best ham, bacon, bell peppers and mushroom stuffed cheese omelette with rye bread toasts and freshly cut hash browns… what a satisfying experience it was! Highly recommendable.

The Wi-Fi sucks so much its unreal. Even on my laptop. Your paying for a service and Wi-Fi should be good here. But its not at all and its in town! There's no excuse for that. The room I got was extremely small and clustered, Pathetic TVs as well. I've been in plenty of lower grade hotels that have better set ups, televisions and wireless internet for less money a night. If I could rate 0.2 stars I would. Dont be fooled by the pictures.

Today the food was good but the service was slow and sloppy. Tables dirty all around us and new customers having to move things off table just to sit. Not cool! I know they can do way better.

Driving up to the property, we were a bit nervous about what we'd find. This is an older property, and we'd had a poor experience at a similarly aged property a few nights prior. After checking in, we were pleasantly surprised to find a room that was VERY comfortable. It was a small room is physical size, but everything was fresh and new. The bed was comfortable, nice linens, new carpet and paint, the furniture wasn't beat up. Flat screen TV with cable. The bathroom, while very small, was also renovated with a new tub and tile surround, tile floor, etc. The only downside was very poor Wi-Fi. We were in a room next to the office so one would guess the signal would be good. Most parts of the room were unable to get anything at all, but we found that if we were close to the outside window we could get a usable signal. The free continental breakfast was also a let down. You get a coupon for one drink and choice of one toast, muffin, or cereal. Not the usual self-serve buffet style found at other budget properties. No yoghurt, fresh fruit, etc. As an alternative, your breakfast coupon can be used instead for 10% off your breakfast order from the restaurant. Overall, a very pleasant experience.

Great place to stop in Kamloops when you're on a road trip or when your visiting family in town. Down good home cooked meals that give generous portions with super friendly staff who are always willing to stop and chat. The dining area isn't the biggest but it's suitable to fit everyone at the table. There are daily specials that change and they all come with a dessert which is a bonus. For the times we've gone it's never been too overcrowded.

Excellent value. Hard to beat this place for the price. It's not fancy but the beds and linens are as nice as the fancier /pricier hotels. Rooms are clean. Staff is great. Room includes continental breakfast and there's a great home cooking restaurant right there. Great value.

Although the place looks a little 70's from the outside, inside the room was in amazing condition and would rival any fancy chain hotel, even though this place is independently operated. The room was super clean and the staff were all extremely polite. My car broke down so I had to stay a second night, and they gave me the same amazing rate that I had booked online for the first night. The restaurant is also great value and serves large helpings of home cooked style meals, with lots of steamed vegetables (which is much appreciated when you are on the road). In all, a great experience, and excellent value for money.

Went for my boyfriends birthday breakfast. Ordered a loaded omelette. Asked for no peppers, no tomatoes and well done hashbrowns. Food came fairly quickly which was nice. Turns out when they says it includes onions they mean giant chunks of green onion. I ended up opening it up to try and remove the green onion. It was so bad that one section of green onion looked like they had attempted to cut but didnt succeed. Which resulted in a nice big 2 inch chunk of green onion thrown into it along with the other 2 tablespoons of onion. There was no cheese or mushrooms in it, which there were supposed to be. Half the bacon in it was way undercooked. The potatoes were just boiled potatoes hacked up and barely grilled (so much for asking for well done). I was going to ask for it to be redone however I never saw my waitress again. Luckily my boyfriends birthday meal decent. I however got to go home and make myself something to eat after paying Scotts Inn for nothing. Will not go back again.

I live in kamloops and my family and I go to scott's often we love it there! they are amazing with my two year old and for a family of 3 we leave more than full and pay no more than 30$ each time! the staff is amazing and the food is GREAT! definitely something worth trying if you have never gone before.

Whenever I come through Kamloops, my dog and I always stay at Scott's. Very clean, well maintained rooms, pleasant and helpful staff, good internet and nice and quiet. There is an off-leash park just down the hill, and plenty of good shady on-leash walking nearby.
