The parking lot is in another building and the height of the vehicle is limited. Very inconvenient. Hotel elevator, I think is modified by the cargo elevator, start and stop very suddenly. The hotel's guest layout shows that the building was not built specifically for the hotel and was later converted into a hotel. The overall living environment of the hotel is not warm enough. Hotel door and surrounding crowd, more idle people. Not recommended.

This is a really nicely renovated hotel. The rooms are very comfortable. They have nice beds, premium linens, satellite cable, and a beautful rain shower. The service is fantastic and the hotel has all the amenities you could need while you are away. The gym is well equipped, and the pool/hot tub area is suitable. I highly recommend this hotel if you are staying in Prince George.

In the old part of Prince George. Not a key location but the hotel was nice. The restaurant was very good. Specials every night. We had the king bed room. No tub but the shower had a glass wall that frosts when you close it. Very trendy! Will return in the future. The price was very good also.

I really enjoyed my stay here. First of all the downtown location is excellent. Walking distance to great stops like Crossroads Brewing, Ritual Coffee, The Keg, and even the movie theater. The renovated rooms are also pretty nice. Very modern and relaxing. The glass shower wall is a cool feature and the layout of the room overall is really nice. I also enjoyed the lobby/common areas. Very spacious. Starbucks in the lobby. A decent restaurant. Pretty good fitness room with a downtown view. These things made the stay the stay quite nice. There are a few small issues with fit and finish in the rooms — cupboard doors not opening all the way, bad tiling/caulking, etc. But, they are pretty minor considering the overall appeal of the rooms. The only other issue would be parking. There is a Parkade across the street as the only parking option. It’s nice to have the car secure — but, is a bit of pain. However, the valet service makes up for it. You just have to plan your coming and going accordingly. I’m looking forward to my next stay.

Great fancy room especially the transparent wall in bathroom and it becomes non-transparent when you close the bathroom door completely! The bed is comfy and great service in such a small town in BC! Worth the money!

I stayed in a room the was recently renovated and it was large and really nicely appointed. Even had that a glass wall to the bathroom that went transparent when the doors was open and solid when it was closed. I liked that the gym had several machines and weights — larger than most typical hotel gyms. Free valet parking was also convenient. I would stay there again on my next trip to PG.

Awesome room. Busy hotel with awesome location. Walking distance to so many amazing restaurants and things to do. Centrally located. Staff were very friendly and helpful! The premium room is the nicest place I've ever stayed in! The shower is so cool!

A much more upscale Ramada than I am used to. It seems like it was recently renovated (except for the elevator which really should be) and it has a modern classy style. The rooms themselves are well laid out and the various drawers which contain towels, cups and various other items are a delight. The frosting glass for the bathroom was a bit off putting at first, considering when you walk in it just seems like your roommate will be observing you whilst doing your business, however it was an interesting departure from the norm and fits with the overall feel for the room. Room service was excellent and the quality was above average, the service was impeccable (valet service was a very nice touch), I would highly recommend staying at this location for any and all personal or business needs.

The PG Ramada has a seamless modern layout for business travel. Great desk layout with all the accessories needed to be productive. Comfortable bed, quiet room and a shower you won’t want to get out of. My room service dinner and breakfast (1 of each) were excellent. This was my first stay here (2 nights) and it made me wonder why I didn’t book here in previous years.

Had a fantastic breakfast the other day with my family. I recommend the crepe for sure! Will be going back.

We had our wedding here and I have to say it was the best thing ever! the food was amazing! Like my family cant stop talking about the food at my wedding it was so good! planning was so fun and easy. They are always in communication with you and try there hardest to make sure you get what you want for your big day while work within your budget. The staff was amazing attentive and friendly. The room we got at the end of the night was OK. Nothing super special about it. And there rooms could use a little more updating. Or maybe having and nicer room for wedding guests or the option to upgrade the room to something nicer.

The check in process was disorganized and slow and complicated by the presence of a large group checking in. The Parking is hard to find and awkward. Only use the valet parking if you can give them 1/2 hour notice for picking up car. Your car may end up double parked so once it comes you have to run. The room is nice but has no bathtub. The shower and toilet are separated from the guest room by a glass wall. Ice for the shower but less nice for privacy on the toilet. I could hear the plumbing next door or nearby. Water running. Toilets flushing. I also heard loud street sounds at the break of day. Not a quiet room. The heat/AC is the loud under the window type but it works. The blinds were good at blocking daylight. I did not locate a fridge. The coffee was ok but the creamer was nasty powder. Check out was fine except for getting my car.

After checking in we noticed that our room didn't have a fridge, we went to the front desk and they quickly accommodated us. Unfortunately the second room also had no fridge, so back down we went. Third time was the charm! It was a small hiccup in an otherwise wonderful stay… And understandable as they are undergoing renovations. The staff is wonderful, and our room ended up being perfect! Would stay again!

Lady at the counter, Shauna, upgraded me to the newer room because she was far much more proud of the newer designed rooms. Rooms are very, very nice, especially considering the low price you pay. Like I mean they are nice. Definitely worth the stay. Nice restaurant connected to the lobby with a Starbucks as well. Thanks!

Was there for a wedding reception and all the staff were so great and friendly. The room was decorated amazing! Looked so beautiful! And the catering was good also. Thank you Ramada for always being wonderful ❤

I feel like this is where people come to make babies. Definitely one of the nicer places I've stayed in, especially for the price. Tempted to call in sick tomorrow! The "disappearing" privacy wall in the bathroom is a cool feature. I don't usually write reviews but this place deserves it. The manager (or who I assume was the manager) seemed pretty cool too. 10/10. Would stay (again).

Clean, free valet, Starbucks on site, nice updated rooms. The jacuzzi suite was lovely but I've stayed in regular rooms too and love the frosted glass bathrooms and showers. Friendly staff as well and a decent pool and hot tub.

The room was amazing. Clean, comfortable, stylish. Great amenities. Location was very central, by lots of good restaurants. Staff were accommodating and friendly. I would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Clean, sleek accommodations. The staff are friendly and personable; they engaged as generous people vs. Polished service robots. The stairs are not clearly labeled so we had a hard time finding them but they were right beside the front desk so the staff could easily point it out.

I can only speak to the conference services here as I have never actually stayed at the hotel. They do a wonderful job with their conference services. Rooms are comfy, food is good, and the washrooms are clean. However, the last two times I came here for a meeting, the sound system left a lot to be desired. Other than that, great service!

The interior would be best described as sleek and modern with beautiful contrasting wood. The bathroom was my favorite because of the amazing smart glass shower with a rain showerhead. Although the room and the rest of the hotel was beautiful, I'm only giving this hotel four stars since the parking lot, located almost two blocks away, was extremely inconvenient. Also, their staff were rather inhospitable; even when greeted, they reacted with indifference.

Stayed on the 6th floor and was seriously impressed with the newly renovated suite. There are nice touches and beautiful features. I love being able to access the TV from the desk area with the integration device, love the full feature shower so bright with the frosted glass wall and multiple shower heads. The bed and pillows are also awesome. Very good deal!

The updated wing is very nice and modern. Showers have glass facing beds that is transparent, but only goes opaque when bath sliding door is closed fully. It's easy to bump the door and reveal the entire bathroom too whomever is in the room! No fridge in the room was unusual and inconvenient. Pool has no shallow end so not great for kids. Restraunt food was delicious and allergy friendly for my celiac family.

Rooms are just ok the heated floors in the bathroom are a nice touch. The worst part of this hotel is the parking your, in to put this lightly a less than ideal part of town. The parking structure is across the street from the hotel so if you want to go out after the sun goes down it makes things a little scary. There's also a lack of total parking a friend of mine that we traveled with was unable to find a spot after 830 at night and had to park on a different section of the same structure. He was given $100 ticket and the hotel said and I quote there's nothing we can do about it it was given out by the city there are far better places to stay for the money in Prince George.

Love the new rooms, very beautiful decor and comfortable Beds and pillows. Wi-Fi works well and valet parking available great, however, it does take 10-15 min. For them to retrieve the car so plan ahead. Overall, service is great and there is a full Starbucks in the lobby, bonus!

I recently attended the Ramada for a dinner function. The layout of the banquet room was good and the service was excellent. Unfortunately, the food was quite mediocre, though this could have been the result of the buffet selection.

I travel lots for work and leisure, and I have to say this room is the best so far. Better than some four star hotels in big cities. This was truly a pleasant surprise. The room appears clean. Everything has a wooden finish. Glass wall between the bathroom and bedroom. Classy modern look.

Stayed here for two weekends. Nice clean and modern rooms at a reasonable price. Staff were kind and accommodating. Would do again.

The Starbucks here is full service, offering the standard options. It is not a mini Starbucks often seen in hotels. Carry out is recommended since seating space is very limited.

Recently renovated and looks great. Very clean. I had my wedding reception there in 2013, and after a few hiccups the service team helped us pull off a super fun wedding. Recently visited again and got the jacuzzi room. We plan on doing this often.

Rooms for sleeping are great. Ballrooms are old musty and dated. Why no dining tis beyond me. Pubs are not family food places.

Sunday brunch at Coaches pub. Always my favourite brunch spot, fantastic spread and food options for anyone's dietary needs.

Visited swimming pool with friends who were staying there. Seemed nice. Room also seemed nice, bathroom looked great.

Good stay with no fuss. We arrived late and spent the night, sharing the room with our small kids. Was a repeat visit, and I'll return again.

Great great people and staff fun to talk with and Bob Johnston you might of had a grumpy worker but ramada takes care of that stuff.

The staff were courteous and very professional. We loved the glass bathroom, that turns opaque when the door is closed. My wife and me had fun with that hi-tech glass. Really cool. The bad reviews just don't check out. Maybe jealous competitors? The king bed was extremely comfortable. There were about a dozen pillows — really. We slept great and we slept in. And the 12 noon checkout was perfect for us old hippies. The car parking service was greatly appreciated and very safe. No vehicle concerns. Swimming pool is working and very nice. We live really far off the grid, so a few days a month in P. G. Is therapeutic. Already booked Ramada for next month. Great sushi/sashimi place 2 blocks away. We discovered D’Lanos where the locals enjoy amazing all day breakfast. And we had our van hand-washed at "Every Little Detail". It looked like new! Exploring P. G. Is a fun hobby. We will definitely choose Ramada in Prince George.

This hotel recently renovated and looks phenomenal. I have to say, this is one of the nicer rooms I've stayed in. The room had some really cool features including a bathroom clear glass that is reflective as soon as the door shuts and transparent when the bathroom door is open. Very cool. Their staff was very friendly and even humorous. This would definitely be my first choice if I came back to Prince George — great hotel.

Worst hotel I have ever stayed at in Prince George. Unfriendly staff (didn't ask how my stay was or even say anything at all — just billed me and said "thanks"). Wireless internet would not work (I stay in hotels across the country and never have a wireless issue, so it wasn't a user problem), you get accosted by drunks and crack addicts every time you walk through the front door; you have no choice because the parking is a BLOCK AWAY IN A PARKADE! — if you have any amount of luggage at all it is a real hassle, especially since you have to park on the 4th level. The whole area surrounding this hotel is an eyesore — will NEVER stay anywhere near this place again — and all that for a ridiculous price! Had the same experience one of the other reviewers had as well — someone knocked at my door at 2am, and it seemed like there was all sorts of undesireables wandering the halls at that hour.

Beds were great the room very clean. Bathroom was interesting with the glass wall as was the shower. Front desk staff were nice and helpfull. Highly recommended it.

Black Hole of Prince George I had the unfortunate experience of staying at the RAMADA Prince George for two nights – something that other travellers need to be warned about. From the exterior of the building, and the lobby area, it looks like a very nice hotel with relatively efficient staff and entering the guest room is pleasing to the eye — until you find out that specific functionality is sadly lacking. The beds are somewhat uncomfortable, but that may be just my experience as I have stayed at higher quality properties in Prince George, such as the Travelodge. The Ramada has installed higher tech bathrooms wherein the glass separating the sleeping area from the bathroom is clear until you completely close the bathroom door, which at that time, the glass becomes opaque. The showers are huge – more than enough room for two people which is necessary because the Ramada did not bother to spend the extra $5 to put in a shelf for your soap, shampoo, conditioner, etc. So a second person needs to be in the shower with you to hold these items. I am not sure what a person would do if they are staying alone. The lighting in the bathroom is the impetus for the review title, as it is almost non-existent. As long as you don’t have to use the mirror for anything (ladies putting on make-up, men shaving, anybody combing their hair, etc. ) the bathroom is perfect – however if you intend to use a mirror for anything in the hotel, you may consider staying at different property.

We really enjoyed our stay in Prince George, B. C. The rooms were great. A nice size, the front desk clerks were friendly and the valet service was exceptional. The food was fantastic and breakfast was great; the orange gooseberries were great.
