We had a beautiful stay there this summer. Wish we could have stayed longer. Need to plan another visit!

Great cabins as base for HeliSkiing.

Bad place. There was no fridge and microwave in rooms. Lots of monstrous mosquitos. The price of breakfast and dinner was crazy. There was no TV and internet.

This is a review for the restaurant, which was very nice. The decor was surprisingly upscale — looked like a recent renovation. The breakfast was good, nothing exceptional. The friendly English waiter was great! The prices were reasonable for being in the middle of nowhere.

It is an unexpected lodge with gas and a helicopter pad next door. Expensive gas and one has to buy internet usage, but it is a nice place. I just stopped to refuel my motorcycle on the way through.

Giving 4 stars because the manager was kind enough to give us a refund and recommend a better place to stay. We really wanted to camp here on our way down from the Yukon and were excited for showers (and a nice jacuzzi soak). We were used to paying higher prices for campsites with more amenities so I wasn’t upset about the $30 price tag for a tent site until I saw it. While the lodging is beautiful, and the staff are friendly, this is not somewhere you would want to camp in a tent. The 5 tent spaces are located at the very back of the lots with huge signs reading “warning active bear area”. We were used to camping in bear country at this point, but being nestled right into the forest and bush with a sign directly nailed into the tree beside where our tent should go is alarming. There were also no bear safe storage or garbage canisters. Luckily the manager gave us a refund after we told her there was no way we could feel safe about staying here. We ran into other campers at the provincial park who had the same experience. I would recommend removing the option to tent camp, or at least providing the proper storage for food and garbage so your campers can feel ‘kind of’ safe.

Campsites are pathetic. We drove her with the intent of camping on our way through from the Yukon to southern BC. So I paid for a tent site and went to look but our tent would never fit. So I thought we would change to a RV site but when we went to look at those they were small too. We had a 20ft trailer with Atv's and an average size tent there was zero chance of us fitting into an RV site. We got our money back and kept driving. I should also mention lots of poision ivy and nothing for kids to do.

The female employee on duty was extremely rude. My family and I were only passing through the area in need of fuel and Bell 2 is the only fuel station over 260 miles from the Alaska Highway 1. We did purchase fuel in spite of being treated as a huge inconvenience from the moment we walked in the door. I would never stay at or recommend this Lodge to anyone.

The cabins are huge and nice, and the area has beautiful scenery. The food at the restaurant isn't bad either. Laundry is available. The Wi-Fi is very weak, but it is understandable since it's satellite Wi-Fi. The only downside is that there are a LOT of mosquitoes (I visited in the summer), even in the cabins. My family and I couldn't sleep comfortably and woke up with many mosquito bites. I believe there is a hole somewhere in the cabin where the mosquitoes are coming through. If that problem was fixed this would be a great place to stop by on road trips.

The manager was sexy af. If I ever go back im gonna muster up the courage to ask her out. We could live happily ever after at a place like that.

The camping at Bell 2 Lodge was very nice. Secluded sites at the back of the RV lot, jacuzzi access, and clean bathrooms and showers. The only negatives were that the water pressure in the shower stall I chose was so low that I had to crouch down on the ground to give the water drops a gravity assist so they could wash my hair out. My fellow guests assured me that their showers we're much better, though. The bridge nearby is a little loud, but I never found it disuptive to my sleep, and the heli-ski company starts doing helicopter flights early in the morning, but I wasn't disturbed by that either.

Outstanding service. Beautiful lodge and location. Great food. Wonderful people.

This lodge believes itself to be greater than the rest of the BC. The place and specially it's management is very snobby and not really interested in a good customer relationship and you get the feeling they don't need you as a guest. The courtesy is very poor and they don't care about any idea of basic hospitality in the rough wilderness. It's said to say that the employees do a very good job and try hard to cushion the bad attitudes of the management. That's interesting, because it highly contradicts the unjustified, ridiculously high prices for an accommodation in the middle of nowhere. You would expect they compensate the lack of service (slow and expensive Wi-Fi, bad maintained facilities etc. ) with outstanding friendliness and customer oriented thinking, but they don't. Tenting is only fun with sun (which rarely shines there) because they did not think about any shelter but let you pay $26 (well, you can use the Jaccuzzi, which is covered…). The only point to be here is, because there is nothing else in the next 100km.

Great place to stop while your on a long journey. Little coffee shop had reasonably priced drinks, and bathrooms are a nice relief from pit toilets on the road. They were clean and in good condition, fuel is for sale here but its pretty pricey. A pretty bridge near by that can be nice for a photograph. I didn't check out the lodging and restaurant but its present there as well. Friendly staff and also very knowledgeable about the highway if you have questions. They were nice enough to open up and serve my in the coffee shop 10 minutes before they actually were scheduled to open. If you get an extra like that be sure to tip!

Awesome heliskiing trip to British Columbia's north. Beautiful accommodations and amazing food. Truly massive amount of terrain available to ski.

This place is amazing and the people that work there are awesome.

I just got gas and used the bathroom. The people were very nice.

The location is amazing. You can sit in the jacuzzi while enjoying the mountain view. The room had a fireplace. It would have been an amazingly romantic place to stay if I wasn't there with someone from work for business travel. The restaurant may not have huge selection but everything we tried delicious. The homemade whip cream for the waffles was the best I have ever had.

My husband and I stayed here with our cat for one night. Upon driving up we were excited with the look and feel of the grounds. However, walking around the area you smelled garbage (or worse) most of the time. The room was nice, but there was no TV and the "free Wi-Fi" was a prepaid card worth varying amounts of time that you got upon check in which apparently depended on who was working at the time (30 mins to 5 hrs). Breakfast was good and reasonably priced.

Nice place place to stop for lunch… service was a bit slow but it was early May… not a lot of people around at that time.

Definitely need some money to stay here. Cheapest room is $175 plus tax… We camped was told camping would be $20 and were charged $27. They said showers cost an extra $10 so we got those as well. The bathrooms had a code to use, and the showers were in the bathrooms so you probably use them without paying cause they'd have to give you a bathroom code anyways. It advertises having Wi-Fi… But to use it it costs $10 for 30mins… We ate at the restaurant which was good and prices ranged from $9-$15 with specials being about $30. Food was good but didn't have a bar, and the menu options were few.

Stay there end of the summer season heading to north. Better filled up your tank when you checking out.

Drove through this summer. There wasn't jack! @#$ there. Luckily I had a 5 gallon jerry can… or I would of been eaten by the bears!

I rated this really well because it's a gorgeous location, clean facilities, good food, and they have friendly staff. The only down side really was their Wi-Fi costs an extra $20 to use. They are pricey, but accurate for a "ski resort" type of facility. When we stayed there on Aug 3, 2012 they had an amazing "all you can eat" steak dinner. I'm not sure if they do this "buffet" style meal every night, but it was great. Definitely worth the 22.95 a person. Of course if you didn't want to have it you could eat off their menu. They are pretty well priced for the rest of their normal menu items. They are pet friendly, but charge an extra fee. The rooms look clean, and are pet odor free. I advise if you are in the area, and exhausted to stay a night. It'll be worth the money. The beds are comfortable! *If you are military: FYI you can stay there using your travel card, but they will need to charge it differently. No extra cost or anything, they just need to run the payment through the cafe shop, instead of their reception area.

Only open until 8PM, nobody responded to the door and they're the only place with gas on a good 200 mile stretch of the Cassiar Highway. I would have gladly paid for a room for the night but apparently 9PM is too late as nobody answers the door after hours and it's not in cell phone range so calling them is out of the question. Then in the morning the gal working the coffee stand where you buy gas was talking to me like I was some sort of A-hole for sleeping out in my car the whole night. Skip this place, they need to learn customer service.
