Absolutely horrendous customer service. Extremely rude staff. Many far better options nearby.

Had very noisy neighbours that eventually were evicted by police. Didn’t get much sleep. Complained in the morning and my room was given free. Other than that it was a nice place in the economy category. Good hot breakfast available. Pool area looked nice and clean, but we didn’t use.

Overnight visit. Bed was little hard for me. Clean nice family place. Recommend it.

A pleasant surprise. Got great deal, breakfast was hot, good and free, pool area was nice too. Big TVs, full sized fridge & a comfy bed in the room.

Lovely stay. The bed was ridiculously comfortable and had the softest sheets I've slept in at a hotel! Pool was warm and breakfast was perfect. Gluten free bread too!

Very convenient for travel, quick exit to the main highway. Amenities all around within walking distance, great staff and very clean rooms.

Service was good, the breakfast was nicely done and layed out. The room was neat and clean. As long as the inside door was closed the chlorine smell from the pool didn't seep through and the noise from the pool was minimal.

Imperial Inn is conveniently located along the Canada 1 highway. There are restaurants and shops nearby. The service was great and the rooms were very clean. The price was also very affordable. It even came with hot Continental breakfast. There are amenities like pool and hot tub and even sauna. I would stay here again if I pass by Medicine Hat again.

Old decor, rooms very dated, beds old felt like you’re sleeping on an angle, not overly clean. To go and get pool towels had exit building to go to the front desk and retrieve towels. The breakfast was decent though and staff friendly. Needs major overhaul.

Great place to stay when you have to sleep. I slept very well. Until the breakfast started. Kickstarted the day for me. Thank you everyone at the imperial inn.

I was working out of town for a few months and was told about this place. Service was good and price was worth it. People at the front desk were good and accommodating. I recommend this place for people working out of town. If a family were to stay here I would stay at their sister hotel right next door. I will stay here again.

Nice place to stay in the small town. Good small indoor pool and sauna. Nice breakfast. Located within walking distance to many shopping and other facilities.

We stayed there for one night while traveling and it was the best place out of 5 motels during the week. The room was huge and very clean. We got King bed for $70 a night. The bed was comfortable and tidy. We traveled with our pet (hamster) and the guy at the reception was very understanding to help us. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends and will stay there again. Thank you!

This is a great place for an inexpensive stay with a large pool and hot tub. Continental breakfast is included and it is there are more options then most places. Unfortunately I got a piece of glass in my foot leaving the pool area. It wouldn't have been a large issue except for the front desk clerk didn't show up for over an hour when webl called them and they told us they would be up in 2 minutes with a needle to remove the shard.

The rooms were clean and quiet. The water pressure was very powerful. The breakfast room was cozy with a lot of choice. The staff were very nice and helpful. Defiantly a good deal. The only thing bad I have to say is the shower head was a bit scale filled, so after my shower the bathroom was very wet. Even though the shower curtain was closed. I came by myself but this would be a great stop if you have kids, As it has a fun little pool. Close to so many amenities and not too far off the highway.

The best and cheapest place to stay in Medicine Hat Ab. For the money as this place has the swimming pool and hot top to enjoy at less than half the price of the others with pools and without.

The motel was fine. Roof over my head. And a hot shower made it for me. Nicole was an AWESOME front end attendant, efficient and friendly! She made the experience worthwhile!

Quite nice no frills hotel. Nice looking pool although I never used it. Halls have recently been updated. Good breakfast.

Breakfast spread was decent. The rooms were very nice and had a microwave and a fridge. Only annoying thing is there were people being loud in the pool area past 2:30, which disrupted our sleep.

We loved this place. The staff were wonderful, the room was clean and nice. We stayed there as we came to Medicine Hat for our wedding. All of our relatives were treated well also. I gave them 5 stars but I would have given them more if I could. And breakfast was great also.

Very nice hotel. Clean and everything you need is there. Pool, hot tub, laundry, and more. Rooms are comfortable and has access to the pool. Staff are so friendly. Definitely, I will come back.

Imperial inn was a very nice play to stay. Nice pool, gym and great breakfast. The rooms were clean and comfy. The outside could use an upgrade as it is quite dated but it is overall a very nice stay.

The pool was nice and they have a sauna, the beds were comfy enough (for a motel) they had a good hot breakfast and the only thing I didnt find was the best was the marks on the wall and the amount of light the curtains let in.

Horrible service booked a suite for a family of 6 hideaway bed had no bedding asked front desk politely and was given an unfriendly "why" and told they were sheeted and blanketed but she could try to find pillows but that could take a while I returned empty handed and of course there was no bedding we took a pic to show her and she dropped off a blanket and 2 pillows no sheets? Very unimpressed with the level of service concidering I PAID for the room I will be sure to make my opinion known to all who care fb.

I would not give it 1 star. Room was 2 queen beds and a small kitchen for $279.85! The whole place is tired and old. The room was clean but all the furniture is chipped and old. Shower was warm but you can see mould coming thru the grout. The tub is chipped and worn. No where I have I ever been to have I been so mad at myself for not leaving after we saw the room. Do not make the same mistake.

Old hotel, looks quite shady on the outside, but good service and friendly staff. Rooms are clean and the continental breakfast was decent.

The room was better than I expected. The room was clean and the furniture was in good shape. Overall a good experience. Breakfast was ok, would have liked to be able to have a cup of tea but I could not get any hot water and the staff member working at the breakfast was not very helpful in that regard. Carpets were a bit old, especially in the hallways. We would stay there again, the price was excellent for what you got.

Very clean and friendly and accommodating, pool, hot tub and sauna were awesome, deluxe continental breakfast was nice and not very expensive! Wifi signal was weak and TV channels selection were not the best BUT we enjoyed our stay and would stay again!

If I could give this place a zero I would. Do not stay here. Not only did the pre-authorize my card for double what I was going to spend, without reasonable explanation, but when I brought customer service issues to the owner the next day, he kicked me out of his office when I showed him pictures of the health issues related to this hotel. 1) Exposed high power electrical wires hanging from on the ceiling due to missing ceiling tiles. 2) Exposed electrical wiring from the all… sockets because they were missing covers and not attached properly. 3) Mould, Mildew and ground in dirt on the ice machines because they have not been properly cleaned. 4) What appeared to be blood stains on the hall carpets. 5) Multiple stains of lord knows what through out the carpets in the hotel. Carpets were also frayed. 6) Meals served on styrofoam plates with plastic cutlery. 7) Kitchen staff not following proper sanitary procedures. Ketchum staff scratching their head before touching food and cooking food without proper head covering. I never did see kitchen staff wash their hands. 8) The owner is a dick. Does not listen and gets offended when you bring issues to him especially when you have taken pictures of those issues. 9) The rooms smell like Mould and bedsheets were stained. Pillows not comfortable. 10) The pool looks like it has not been cleaned. The pice of the pool on this page does NOT reflect the actual condition.

We needed a place to stop for the night on our way through Medicine Hat, so we stopped here. The woman at the front desk was very friendly and found a room for us at 2am. The room was fairly standard motel room and was clean. Breakfast was also fairly standard — — a mix of hot and cold food (scrambled eggs, oatmeal, I think, cereals, cinnabuns, fruit, coffee, juice, and tea, etc). We really liked that the rooms all opened to an inside courtyard with a pool and lounge chairs. It seemed like a remnant from the heyday of motor inns and not often used anymore (for instance, the sauna seemed like it may have been broken), but we went for a swim and would have hung out more on the lounge chairs if we hadn't had to get back on the road.

We go all the time because of all the pool side rooms and the reasonable prices.

Decent place, a bit old and in need of beautification, but everything worked and the need read comfortable. Good place for a night or 2. Wouldn't want to stay for a week tho.

Neighborhood isn't bad. Parking is convenient and free. The pool is actually very nice. Typical motor inn quality, comfort and cleanliness. Surprisingly kind and courteous staff. At the end of the day, I'd stay here again.

If I could give it no stars I would. If anyone forgets anything. They call you, we thought we had all our items and called back the next day only to be told they threw it out. Absurd, I'll never do business with you again. Stop being cheap and fox the broken windows and patch up the holes in the walls. Unprofessional.
