Overall great customer service with some exceptions. Complimentary breakfast was great. Affordable summer rates.
What really stood out was cleaner banging on door 930 a. M. Announcing "housekeeping ".
Pretty sure check out is at 11 a. M. 😩
I would highly recommend this place, its clean, quiet & comfy beds.

Stayed there last night and 11 vehicles were broken in too one being ours. Front desk was not very helpful. Didn’t offer to help with any cleaning supplies, garbage bags, vacuum nothing to clean up the glass to be able to drive the vehicle. They knew about the vehicle la being broken into early in the morning they could have told the guests by coming to their rooms or phoning as they require everyone to give their licence plate number when checking in. Apparently this is a common thing to happen. The rooms were extremely small. There was food in the common area that was left from the night before not even cleaned up! Would never stay here again.

Perfect location for my stay. Safeway/Starbucks, Phil's, DQ, Tim Hortons and Hospital all within walking distance. They are renovating so will be much nicer when complete. Construction didn't impede my stay at all.

Service was good, staff are wonderful. However, it is a tired old building. So glad to see they are doing renovations. Once they finish those they will be 5 star plus!

In the midst of renovations when I stayed. A decent place to stay in n spite of that. Housekeeping staff seemed nice, didn't interact much with the rest. Rooms were nice. Bathroom was a little small but all the fixtures and shower were nice. The atrium is nice, an old-school arboretum style one with live plants and benches for a sort of indoor park feel, all centered around the pool. Pool is salt water, and was very cold when we used it — which was nice, but I can see some folks not being fans. Speaking of fans — everything with moving parts is loud. Air conditioning fan is loud, bathroom too. The elevator's mechanical room is crazy loud. I imagine that these are some of the things their current round of renos is addressing, so don't be concerned (and everything worked fine, just noisily). Complimentary breakfast was alright: no bacon (just sausage), but a waffle maker and pretty good french toast for a complimentary breakfast bar balances it out. My experience otherwise with the restaurant was actually not good: Incredibly small portion of unappetizing mashed potatoes for a side, and wretched, bitter gravy. How do you mess up potatoes and gravy? The smoked meat sandwich was unremarkable, but not offensive in any way. Stick with the pastas, my wife's seemed alright.

Good hotel — under construction, but didn't put us out at all. It does need upgrading but looks like it's being worked on. Room was clean. Breakfast included and well assorted. Overall good experience if you can look past the age of the hotel.

Coming in from the east, the building wasn't well marked. The parking lot may need some resurfacing. They were doing work inside with near the restaurant. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. When I asked if the sausages were gluten free the cook told me they weren't and offered to cook some bacon for me. The room was clean but the walls were thin. I could hear my neighbors alarm on their phone and the hallway light shone brightly under the room door all night.

Needs to be updated. Very old. The room we had, had an amazing set up, with a huge mini fridge in the room and a microwave, table with 4 chairs. Hot tub was standing only, no seats, pool was the perfect temperature. Breakfast was included and had cold/hot options but only had apples & oranges. Staff was really quick to bring us anything we needed, like extra towels. Huge windows in the rooms. Bedding for the pull out couch can be found in the dresser. TV has on demand movies for a reasonable price. Great location, close to everything and close to lots of running/biking trails. We were here for a Spartan wkd and we walked to Heritage Ranch.

Nice hotel that is constantly renovating to serve their customers better. At one time we would go at least once a month for their Sunday brunch. Sadly they kept reduce the food brought out until finally the chocolate fountain disappeared from use and do did we.

Feels like the pictures of once-great resorts that has now become dillapitated. Plus is that they have Telus Optik TV and the rates are good. The breakfast buffet leaves a lot to be desired!

Tube TV, Rooms smelt with strong cleaner, no microwave, Beds were tough. The hotel it self doesn’t seem to spend much money on its self everything new seems tacky and cheap fix. The pool is okay not much to it tho. I stay at a lot of hotels around Alberta and Saskatchewan for work, conferences and vacation. I wouldn’t recommended this one unless you want something cheap.

Room was well sized, bed was comfortable. The shower was a bit finicky and the decor is from the 90s. Morning breakfast was terrible — don't even bother. Great place to stay if you're here for a short visit… but don't expect a luxurious feeling.

Was at the botanical gardens and their food was good but not worth what you are charged. The service there was fast, efficient, and very friendly.

Nice place, some parts feel old. The included breakfast was ok but the price was right. We there there at the same time as about 5 novice hockey teams, the pool wasn't big enough to handle all that. If there weren't 80 kids in the pool it would have been really nice.

Room was old & outdated. Rooms smelt horrible & stale. Room above us had a very loud party & food that stunk up our room. My kids gagged from the stench. Thankfully our friend brought a diffuser and we managed to cover the stench. Buffet breakfast was horrible. Eggs tasted like rubber and sausage tasted undercooked. There were no drinks available the entire time we ate and no staff to be found to request it to be fixed. Pool was decent — the hot tub fit no more than 6 people. Carpet in the entrance to the pool was so soaked and full of mud it was disgusting. Staff did not properly stock up towels for the pool during our stay.

We checked into a double Queen room as three adults and 1 infant. We were told one price on the phone when we booked and then found that we had been charged another later. Also part of the charges were "marketing and advertising" fees which were about 10%. We assumed there would be a crib in the room because we registered with an infant but there was not. We tried to make due the first night but the next day went to speak to the front desk and was told that they only had two cribs for the 250+ rooms, both of which were in use. Apparently you have to ask at check in. I don't think that's right, at a restaurant I'm asked if I need a high chair right away, why should it be different at a hotel? Our concerns were met with relative indifference and a "that's standard " attitude. It was only when the manager was told that the baby fel off the bed did his tone change a bit. As for cleanliness, it's not bad. It needs to be updated but that's all and I know they're working on it already. It has that "old-grungy" feel to it. We will not go back for sure. We could have stayed at the Sheraton with better amenities and better service for what we paid.

The rooms are clean, but a bit dated. I had done issues with the lighting in the conference room where I was doing a seminar, though. Very dim and one light kept flashing as it was burning out. The breakfast options for the buffet are minimal but decent. The pool was nice but the hot tub was out of service, which was annoying. Really good customer service, though.

Good place. Nice accommodations. Excellent breakfast. Rooms clean roomy and bright. Great for Pets. Close to everything 7-11, Liquor, Safeway, bus, restaurants, parks, etc. Lots of Parking.

A great place for teams. So accomodating and the staff was friendly. The property could use an update and there eas a weird burned out room on the 7th floor but they let us hang out in the atrium and treated our kids respectfully.

Very nice accomodations, clean, well kept. Good for longer stays as next to grocery store and other amenities. Central location. Could be modernized alittle as the room and decor felt dated.

Great place. Awesome free breakfast (breakfast coupons) best free breakfast selection ive seen. Lots of hot food.

Check-In & Check-Out: -Breeze and very helpful staff Property: -Old and needs major renovations -There was a leak from the pipes running above the restaurant for 3 days. -The tower's exterior is dab, peeling off & dying. -Initially booked into the tower. There were massive air-conditioning exhaust fans all across the room's exterior, so we asked for an upgrade. They charged us $10/day to upgrade to a similar room in the "newly renovated" courtyard section. Yes, the hallways and rooms look much better in the courtyard section, but it's like comparing rotten apples to soon to be dead apples. — The air-conditioning in our room was dead during our stay. Fortunately we were in the room only for the nights, so we didn't have too much trouble sleeping with open windows. They did offer to move us to another room, but with our baggage and with us on the roads during the daytime, it wasn't worth the hassle. — Both the bath-tub and sink kept choking up within 30 seconds of usage. Terrible! — They boast of "One Of A Kind High Speed Internet", but the TV kept freezing often, and the Wi-fi was slow IMO, which tells me that the Telus Optic Cable isn't as good as Bell or Rogers, and that the management folks are gasbags. — Worst of all: Tiny and extremely narrow elevator in both the Tower and Courtyard. One can barely squeeze in the baggage trolleys. No wonder the elevators are dinged up like someone has been using a Battering Ram on it regularly!

Not fan of this place very out of date. Heater fans make really loud noises throughout the night. Wasn't the cleanest either.

They were very hospitable to our soccer team and families. They had a few large areas for us to gather and socialize. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We would return. Thank you Baymont.

Great stay. Great staff. Had a little trouble with the door lock but it was fixed within 20 minutes after my arrival. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

We live this hotel. Close to hikes, food and downtown. The staff is outstanding and the breakfast is AMAZING.

The Wi-Fi is fast and doesn't cut out or drop anywhere through the hotel, so many places lack simple things like this. There buffet breakfast was also alot better then I expected, Huge variety with great taste. I also went outside at around 11.30 pm and seen security walking around the carpark with torches. Lots of little extra things like this is why I give them 5 stars.

Wonderfully helpful and welcoming staff! There are restaurant, gym and swimming facilities available on site. Large, clean and spacious rooms. Easy access to the city. Off site restaurants and convenient store within walking distance.

It was decent place for overnight stay. Wouldn't stay here if there were other avaiable hotels around it.

Some of the friendliest staff I've encountered in my hotel history. Makes it all worth it.

Rooms and breakfast are okay. Unfortunately Guests on our floor were loud and in hallways until 1 am and hotel staff did nothing. Would not recommend due to noise.

Room we had was clean. Only issues with our stay were that the tub was cracked so stepping on the tub to shower there was uneven footing. Also the pool was a little but too high for our kids. Could use a shallow end for smaller children. But the stay there was pleasant.

Rooms are good staff was friendly and approachable. Breakfast was a little cold but they corrected it. Would stay here again. But try and get parking lot side in the summer. Heard the other side gets hot.

Excellent Hotel Quiet an friendly staff very friendly. Nice Suite in the Tower The only little thing (Televisions are not flat screen) but its ok with me. At the restaurant try there New York steak delicious. The waitress was so nice. Alla reserve this room for me. Thank you Alla. I will return again and I recommend this Hotel to everyone. Nice to stay.

Perhaps it's not fair to compare the new management to the old, but my impression is that they are doing a competent job, more or less. As a restaurant guest, my request for a Wi-Fi password was declined by the server, with the excuse: "I got s**t for doing that last time. " However, I was cheerfully given the guest password at the front desk. No complaints about the food or service in any way. I see no reason why the electric vehicle charging stall was converted to a Tesla-only charger. It could have easily been wired for both charging systems, and in all fairness, Tesla cars are currently outnumbered by cars with the standard charger, hundreds-to-one. Simply a blunder, in my opinion.

Staff were friendly and helpful, atrium pool and hot tub were beautiful and relaxing. Room was clean, spacious and well-arranged. Quiet, restful night. Wifi internet was super-fast which was really appreciated!

Very comfortable and reasonable rates for rooms.

Went to a job fair at the Red Deer Lodge and the staff were friendly and helpful when I asked for directions. I had never been there before and I was surprised. It's actually a very nice place.

We've stayed here 2 times. Dated but clean with nice staff. Kind of fun with the interior pool and such. Good for families. Food is average but good. Security clamps down on the noise in the pool area when it's quiet time.

The location is great — dead centre of Red Deer. The parking lot is not in great shape… needs to be redone. The hotel is clean however dated and rundown. Staff were friendly and did show interest in the customer's needs and wants. The bed was comfortable and room temperature control was good. Although looking tired and outdated it is clean and very reasonably priced. I did not use the restaurant but it did seem busy on Sunday morning.
