It is a great place to lay down.

We check in there last May 2019 and I lost my ring because 1 of the housekeeper clean our room without our permission. I filed police report and Security report, but until now I didn't hear anything from management. Hopefully this reviews will help me to follow up.

Unfortunately we had a terrible experience, we booked a room for 5 adults one kid and they gave us the smallest double room ever! We slept every 3 on a little bed and they charged us for a 5 adults room!

The location is great. The rooms were okay, but housekeeping could take some lessons. I had to remake my bed every day, there was a sheen of dust on the headboard and behind the night table (where you have to plug your phone in) and the floors need to be vacuumed near the baseboards. The fridge froze everything and the heater/fan/air conditioner worked intermittently. The breakfast was good. The one Coke in the pop machine got purchased and then the machine sat empty for the rest of our stay. The one older gent at the front desk has no clue about anything of the WE Mall across the road, and it's such a great location, maybe the staff could take the time to learn a bit about it. All in all, it was okay. Overpriced for what you get though.

Very nice staff but I'm giving 3 stars because my stay was for 3 days and they never got around to cleaning the bathroom. They need to step up their cleaning game. Overall nice stay.

Clean comfy convenient good staff. I stayed here for 3 weeks while waiting for my condo to be available in the middle of a hot summer and the A/C was amazing in the room. I had my little dog with me as its pet friendly which is a bonus. They also offer a continental breakfast in the breakfast room daily. The beds are very comfortable and the room rate very reasonable. I would recommend staying here and I almost forgot to mention, its directly across the street from West Edmonton Mall & the NEW Starlight Casino.

This is a good alternative to the hotel inside the mall. It's simple but clean and friendly. It doesn't have anything special. No laundry. Breakfast was simple but nice. Well stalked.

Overall, the room was in decent condition and I had a pleasant experience. Disappointed in the lack of variety in the complimentary breakfast though. And some loud drunks next door at night should've been dealt with by security.

Not as impressive as I thought. I was expecting a way bigger mall since it claimed to be the biggest mall in North America. Maybe back in the 80s it was but now there's plenty malls of the same size. The outside look pretty run down but the inside is still nice. The water park is enjoyable for the kids. The mall have pretty standard shops, nothing impressive or high end.

I had a pleasant stay at the WEM INN and would return. Reasonable room rate rate and bed was comfy. The hotel offers free breakfast in the morning which is always a good thing. Free parking and easy access to lobby.

Located across the street from West Edmonton Mall. Parking lot is small bit usually is never at capacity and can park adjacent in the mall over flow parking lot which is large enough for trailers and campers. There are restaurants within walking distance too!

Great location across from the west edmonton mall. Rooms were clean and could not hear other guests. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was limited.

Pretty cheap place. Charges you for bottled water. Find the price is a bit much for what you get which isnt much. Location is the only up side. Parking was terrible most cars took 2 slots up so I had to park in the far corner. Online it showed the price was half that what I paid as well. Drove 16 hours so wasn't about to change hotels over it. But I suggest going to one that's the same price but has more options.

Quiet and beds were comfortable. No dvd player in the room but had a mini fridge. Price was great for a two bed room. They also have adjoining rooms if you need it which isn't found everywhere. It's walking distance to West Edmonton mall.

Okay hotel. Good location. Decent service. Needs renovation. The vanity in the bathroom prevents the toilet seat from staying up. No convenient plug outlets convenient to desk and bed.

A very enjoyable stay. Very helpful staff. Rooms are clean and very modern. Themed rooms are out of this world.

It's clean, and comfortable. Basic Inn and priced with the area. The biggest downfall, and I felt slightly cheated by their free continental breakfast was the selection. There's a pretty good industry standard that goes along with complimentary basic breakfast. It was so small; hard boiled eggs not shelled, yogurt, toast, cereal. Juice and coffee. Gluten-free eaters, dairy-free eaters be warned. And also just a basket of eggs, for guests to peel and shell. So odd. Nothing to eat.

The staff was absolutely welcoming. The gentleman that checked me in was kind and understanding when everything went wrong. Clean, spacious rooms, and knowledgeable staff. Totally a wonderful stay!

Literally THE worst hotel I have ever stayed in. Start with being over charged and then having to fight tooth and nail to get our money back. And paying almost $200 a night for a room that was absolutely filthy. I have never felt so dirty and not wanted to touch anything in a hotel like that. Even showering made me feel dirty. The towels were stained, the head board had dried splatters of something unknown on it, pubes all over the bathroom and I swear they just refolded and tossed the extra blanket in the closet before we got there — without washing it. I DO NOT recommend this hotel no matter how convenient it is to be close to the mall — you will regret staying here.

Nothing fancy, but this is understood before reserving a room. Its a bit pricy, yet convenient. There is parking outside, or for a small fee you can utilize the underground parking (max height 6' 6"). Pet friendly… friendly staff… easy check in service… easy access to the mall via crosswalk outside the main entrance to the inn.

Well located and very short walking distance to West Edmonton Mall. Clean and comfortable rooms with friendly staff. Our room was extremely hot though which made it uncomfortable. There was a free continental breakfast. It was served in the hall way which was strange with a little room to eat in. Pretty small selection of food to choose from.

We went up for one evening stayed one night came back the next day. West Edmonton Mall wave pool was a lot of fun. My wife went shopping the whole day and my daughter and I went swimming the whole day. We got together for supper. Excellent variety of food at West Edmonton Mall. Will be doing this again.

Stay her only if you REALLY need to be close to the Mall. The bed was comfortable and the room was clean but overall the whole place is drab and looks like carpets and such haven’t been replaced for about 15-20 years. The internet was ridiculously slow. And for crying out loud, how hard is it to have an electrical outlet next to the bed? (Or anywhere even close to the bed for that matter)

Friendly professional staff, great value hotel, all the necessities. Breakfast was cereal, toast, hard boiled eggs, juice, milk & fresh fruit. Will definitely visit again!

PROS: Across the street from West Edmonton Mall CONS: it's kind of overpriced. Might as well not even have Wi-Fi, that's how bad their Network is. I'm sitting in one of the rooms while writing this review. The hotel, is nothing special. I've paid $180 to stay here for a night, and I think it's that price just because it's conveniently placed across the street from West Edmonton Mall. The rooms are cozy, the beds are comfortable (enough), there's a strange smell in the hallway, and the Staff are borderline acceptable. One gentleman at the front desk got a phone call regarding the INN, and ended up complaining and mumbling about it for a few minutes after he hung up. To summarize, if your here JUST to shop at the mall and spend time in the surrounding area, this INN will work. If your after that relaxing, VIP experience within a stylish building full of staff to help make your stay a delight… this INN is not for you. There's plenty of other hotels in the area that will give you that experience for equal, if not less than what I paid. I'll shop around a little bit more before booking this INN again.

The place is pretty good for what you pay per night. It's cheaper than staying at the hotel in the mall and I (vs right across the street. I was attending a seminar in town and is a great alternative to some of the other expensive options in the area.

The behavior of one particular staff in the reception was intolerable, no courtesy at all, not even sorry for their own misrakes. They didn't hand over our room on time though we were 30 minutes late, they were not even sorry for that and behave with us very rudely. It was supposed to a two day stay, we cancelled for the following day after this kind of behave. I am not going there anymore even if its free.

Good quiet and clean place to stay. It only has a true continental breakfast :toast, cereal, coffee and juice. Really close to West Edmonton Mall and they offer an event package that encloses cab fair to the event and back and many more specials for the the mall.

Location is convenient for us because we didn't need to rent a car to go to the mall which is across the inn. Room was clean and housekeeping comes every morning. Service was quick and easy to understand.

Being close to the mallwas great. Continental Breakfast was poorly put together and in the hall on the 3rd floor Wich was weird. Heat is always on so you need to even out temperature by putting on A/C.

Have stayed here before but came for our anniversary and still got charged for a room we never slept in all night fiasco across hall from Us all night with fighting screaming police etc.

We stayed here because we planned on spending a lot of time at the mall on our mini-vacation and the prices were far more reasonable than the hotel right in the mall. Beds are comfy, front desk staff was friendly, and mall is right next door. We were also pleasantly surprised that we could purchase passes to the waterpark at a fairly good discount, as that was on our list of activities for the weekend.

Excellent location close to the mall. Comfortable and clean rooms with good customer service.

Location is awesome if the mall is where you're going. Rooms are clean and response to issues are handled promptly. I'd like more selection for the breakfast though.

It's alright, though very out of date, dirty … nothing special. I won't be back. There are other hotels in the very near area which are up to date, clean and very friendly staff.

Checked in and out June 28/27, bed bugs! Was in room 218. Thank goodness I was just in there 1 hour. No assistance or help offered, thank goodness I have family in Edmonton who could help me out.

The beds were comfy. The location is a good 20 minute drive from the Via Rail station, but conveniently placed across the street from the main attraction — the mall. Wifi is good, it shares with the mall which makes it super easy. Our room was very, very close to the lobby, but noise was never an issue. Breakfast is on the 3rd floor which can make for a busy elevator in the morning. It's free, but it's not a super exciting breakfast.

As soon as we walked in we were greeted with a smile and friendly staff who were happy to help us. As family were already at the hotel they let me and my partner have a reserve the room opposite them for when we arrived later on. Clean room and bathroom, beds weren't to bad either. Not yet had breakfast but overall 4/5 rating.

Average room for the price point. Very noisy, front end staff didn't look up or greet when coming and going. There is very few parking spots in front and we were directed to park in the overflow parking and found our windows were smashed in the morning along with several others. Continental breakfast was average. We would not stay here again.

Stayed here last night, the rooms were very clean and the beds were very comfy. Love that you get 2 tickets to either the water park or galaxy land.

The location is fantastic, you can walk across the street to the Mall and enjoy all its amenities. And while parking at the West Edmonton Mall inn is limited there is plenty across the street at the mall. The rooms are your standard hotel rooms nothing to really comment on. Worth mentioning though is the free breakfast, cereal toast coffee and juice. Not exactly a selling point but the price is right I guess.

We had a great visit, but looked like it could use some updating, there was no fridge in the room and continental breakfast was cereal, bread for toast, coffee and orange juice and a fruit bowl with 2 kinds of fruit. Very easy access to the mall, so would definitely stay there again.

We stayed at the west edmonton mall inn with our entire family of 25 ppl and the hotel was very accommodating and friendly. Will definitely return.

Right across the street from the west Edmonton mall, decent Wi-Fi, and very nice room/ bed.

Was a nice, clean hotel. Very quiet with comfy beds.

Stay was fine rooms are modern. Great location. Tub drain was not functioning however. Heat also could not be adjusted. Wi-Fi was provided by nearby mall.

Stayed here for a conference. Room was average. Didn't stay in it much so that was okay. Close walk to the mall (less than four minutes) and you come in right on bourbon street so that is good.

Clean and simple. Place is so peaceful if u wanted to u can sleep through ur day. Wi-Fi supper fast.

Just spent 5 night at west edmonton mall inn. Loved that it was very close to mall (just a walk across the street). Hotel staff was very friendly and accomodated every request. Had booked two rooms and they made sure they were connected in order to keep my family together. The 10 free family passes to galaxyland and waterpark made our vacation that much more enjoyable. Definately going to make another trip to WEM and wont even think of staying anywhere else.

We stayed here this weekend. Service sucked, hotels weren't in good shape. Payed well over 200$ for the night and the rooms were not worth it. The only good thing was it was a walk away from the mall. I'd rather stay at the Mariot or the Hampton Inn and drive to the mall. Deffinitly not going to go back.

This hotel is over priced. The rooms are old. They look old and smell old. The continental breakfast is fruit, coffee and toast. The temperature is hard to control. We came into a leaking toilet and no TV remote. The noise in and out of the hotel resonates through the room. I'm incredibly disappointed. I felt that I spent a lot of money and didn't get good value for it. I would never stay there again. There are more modern and better hotels in the area. The only positive thing I can say is the staff was friendly and tried to be accommodating. This hotel needs a major face-lift.

Very good service, quiet hallways, very good location. Made our Edmonton vacation worth while, and amazing! Good staff, well decorated, very clean rooms as well.

I tried to check into this hotel at 2am after being on the road for over 12hrs and was turned away because of poor customer service. The clerk refuse to check me in and went back to doing nothing, he made it a point not to help me I feel so he wouldn't have to do any work! Dealing with people who might be a little nasty due to travel, misguided directions, OH and a 3yr old who needed to change right away from having an accident while trying to find a hotel! AND after I left that place I went to the DOUBLE TREE by HILTON and GOT A ROOM. With no problem. FOR $60 MORE BUT WORTH EVERY DIME and suited my taste much better even from the look of the parking lot over the WEMI DONT STAY AT THE WEST EDMONTON MALL INN. Poor customer service, bad representation for the west edmonton mall business name.

Was a great hotel to stay at. Was in town for work and I was working nights, the only down side is that the hotel was under construction, so sleeping during the day was almost out of the question. UPDATE: Stayed at this hotel again for business on 2/13/2014 — It took over 45 minutes for us to get checked into the hotel. The service was extremely slow. I watched two families walk out while watching my horrid check in experience. Usually this is a great hotel but this time, it was so painful to check in. I don't think I will be returning to this hotel.

We stayed here two years ago. I'm not sure if they've fixed the elevator, but it was broken. It would stall and we got tuck twice (for 10-15 minutes each time) before we decided to only use with the stairs. One boy got his hand stuck in the elevator door and the hotel staff did not attempt to help the mother, and were completely unconcerned about the injured boy. Worst hotel staff I have ever seen in my life.

Here spending the night with hot man. Having lots of. Fun in theme room haven't been dressed since I got here perfect. For hot sticky rendevues.

It is enough to spend there 1, 2 nights! Has zero service! Someone is at the front desk to the a + check out! Sufficient but when visiting the hotel for the Mall! Super location for it.
