We stayed here Sept 4 2020, they told us at 2pm to come back after 4 pm to check in as rooms needed extra cleaning due to Covid, we checked in, later that night went to shower, closed bathroom door and there was wads of hair and dirt behind door, enough to make a person sick. I have pictures, with Covid, extra cleaning, etc I could not beleive my eyes… what else was lacking in cleanliness? tried contacting management multiple times with no reply.

Nice place to stay with very reasonable price.

Got settled into my room and wanted to relax, have a drink and watch some tv. Couldn't get it work. Called reception. They immediately came up to rectify the situation. Although they were unable to get the cable to work, they switched rooms for me and made sure the TV worked. Not the way I wanted my escape from the city to start, but overall satisfied with the way things worked out.

Over priced. Breakfast is pretty poor stale bread and cheese and hams in lunch boxes in the fridge. Hotel is dated and very dark rooms. The kitchens in the rooms either don’t have enough crockery or glasses are chipped. Our room smelt like it had been cleaned with vinegar. Some staff we nice and friendly enough just think for the price you’d expect better. Doubt they will change any of it as tourists keep coming.

Had a great stay here! Friendly staff, nice rooms and great service! The only downside was after a long day of highway driving their lime green dress attire was a bit hard on the eyes at first but it eventually grew on me. I’ll definitely be going back!

Good place if you want to stay over the night and your driving far and you are tired. Best thing is that you get to see the mountains in the morning and enjoy the nice weather in this time of year. And good service. Most rooms might have television chimney fridge and a microwave plus shower/bathroom.

Friendly service and a great view if you can get an upper floor with a balcony. Our room had a tree in front, so they can't all be winners. The lobby has a very cozy lounge area with a free wine tasting from 5-6 pm. The room itself was large and today. Cold breakfast was free and what you'd expect from a free cold breakfast.

It's a wonderful place to stay. It has a comfortable lobby area (I believe there are pictures online) with refreshments, plenty of seating, books, and activities (there was an oversized wooden chess set, too! ). There was also complimentary wine offered at 7PM, though I didn't have any because I don't enjoy wine. The complimentary breakfast had a bunch of variety: different types of baked goods, deli meats, and even a panini press. It was a surprising. The room was spacious, comfortable, and clean. The location of the place itself was smart, too — — it's a mere 15-minute walk to a nearby plaza with grocery stores and other stores. There are also places to eat close by. All in all, it was a great experience.

Great location with a great value for the price. While the hotel is a bit outdated and the breakfast is lacking, our three nights have been, more or less, what we expected. The perfect location for those looking for an affordable accommodation while staying in the Canmore/Banff area with an easy access to restaurants and the highway!

Beautiful view of mountains right off our balcony. Budget friendly. Fridge, microwave and coffee maker in room. Fireplace was a surprise. Awesome staff. And for a continental breakfast, good choices. You won't go hungry. Would highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

It was a beautiful room, exactly what I hoped it would be. The ceilings were his which made the room feel big and airy, and the view was spectacular. The hot tub was also very nice, but it was more of a deep Jacuzzi tub then a traditional hot tub, saying that, it was wonderful to get in there and let the jets relax sore muscles after a long day of hiking. The bed is on the hard side, but it was fine for two nights. The couch in the room was very comfy. It was a great stay, and I would book here again.

Beautiful suites, very spacious. Could maybe use a fresh coat of paint but otherwise very clean and well maintained. Breakfast has lots of variety.

Offers a complimentary wine reception between 5-6pm! In the evening a fire is on in the common room and coffee, tea and hot coacoa are always available there. The common room is cozy with a huge chess board and books to read! The room was clean and cozy. Has a bath! Also has a gas fireplace along with a fridge, a microwave and a balcony. In a great location too! Easy to find. The morning breakfast has lots to offer but unfortunately there is only one worker running it which is not enough. The poor guy is working hard but there is a lot to do during the busy time to keep up with all the people in breakfast along with the front desk.

Good price for what you got. We had a huge room with a kitchen and nice seating area and just had a great time. Will definitely be booking here again!

My husband n myself are very impressed staying here. It's so nice to be able to park our car n walk into our room and turn on the fireplace in this room. The lobby has a nice area to sit n play chess… or the piano… or just to read a book and enjoy the huge fireplace. Looking forward to the breakfast here. We find this place super nice, quiet and unique. My husband is saying how he would stay here again.

I booked a room at 8am the day before check in. Cancelled my reservation by 8pm same day due to extreme weather warnings and strong advisories to stay off the highways between my home and Canmore (no non-essential travel). I informed the hotel of this while cancelling and they still charged me a $145 cancellation fee. Based in this I would never recommend this Hotel and will never consider staying there again.

Our room was big and gorgeous and the staff were very friendly. We will most definitely return! This was our favourite hotel stay ever!

Cozy room, as usual with mountain hotels. Clean, fridge and microwave in room, continental breakfast was nice. The complimentary wine reception sets this hotel apart. From 5-6 everyday there is a complimentary wine reception where guests can congregate in the lobby for a free glass of wine or two. This gives guests the chance to interact with eachother, take in the views, enjoy the fireplace, and the antique furniture that adorns the lobby. Had a great time.

Lovely little hotel. Rooms are massive and in good shape for what you pay. Can’t complain about the breakfast as I am diabetic and can’t expect them to cater to me for that, especially with how little the room costs. Will definitely be staying here in the future.

We had a room with a fireplace and jacuzzi tub big enough to fit two comfortably, it was a nicely appointed suite. The free breakfast had more options than I would have thought, you could make your own ham and egg mcmuffins/bagels and pancakes as well as the normal continental fare of cereals/fruits/coffee and juice. I was impressed.

The room was giant and had a fireplace that kept it very warm. The bed was comfortable and we enjoyed a great sleep. The couch for the TV was leather but very hard and not too comfortable. The complimentary breakfast was continental so don't expect a lot. Overall was a great stay. Oh they also have free wine between 5-6. Bonus!

Wine hour, great free breakfast. Good coffee all the time. Nice rooms, convenient location, nice views to mountains in distance. If I must complain, the beds were too soft for my back.

Beautiful cozy inn. The lounge is welcoming and offers wine in the evening. There is a complimentary breakfast which is not restocked as well as it needs to be. The rooms are clean. We saved nearly $100 staying here vs the others in the area where we usually stay and it was well worth it. Not as glamorous but still so cute and more than suitable.

Clean and comfortable stay. It's not less than any branded hotel. Nice breakfast. Complementary all day coffee, tea, hot chocolate drinks all day long. Spacious lobby with lodge look and antique decor.

Have stayed here a few times and am always very satisfied with everything. They are very accommodating and since I check in very late they always let me check out at 1pm with no extra charge. The staff are all very friendly. The rooms are clean and top quality. The specific room I stay in has a hot tub and fireplace and is a very fair price. The breakfast options are quite extensive, considering it's complimentary. Overall an amazing place and will always be back.

Good position for the town with nice views over the mountains. We had booked a family room for four adults and it was ok but it could have been better described on the website as only having a glazed door between the rooms!

Clean rooms, great lobby hospitality, mediocre breakfast. There is constantly coffee and tea in the lobby for guests. Also a reception in the evenings (at least on Wednesdays). The breakfast was a cold option, but they did have a panini press. Suggest a waffle maker to kick it up!

The hotel is quite old, Internet works only at the lobby. Regular price like hotels around the area. Not very impressed with this hotel.

Stayed in the jacuzzi suite (rm411) and it was quiet, large and the best mid priced jacuzzi suite we have stayed in for awhile. The TV was a bit small for the size of room. The Wi-Fi worked great. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff was all very pleasant. The only down side was a very slippery walked from the car into the facility. Although it is a mountain town it could use better snow clearing.

Great experience at a great price, the hotel staff is so helpful, the rooms are quaint and really suitable to the location. The breakfast buffet is simple but plentiful and really tasty. Everything is clean and casual and I will go back again and again! :).

Not a bad place to stay. It was nice to have a fireplace in the room except for the fact it was so hot in the room to begin with we hardly turned it on and had to sleep all night with the door open since we couldn't get it cool enough. Pretty good continental breakfast provided in the morning.
