Boutique hotel in Kensington. Rooms were classy, beds super comfy & bathroom luxurious. The location is excellent & staff super friendly & helpful. Enjoyed our 2 night stay. Thankyou.

I booked this hotel for a special occasion and I honestly cannot day enough positive things about our experience. From the moment we pressed the intercom to enter the parkade and the girl knew our names and offered to come help with our luggage, to our room, to the friendly staff who always stopped to say hello to the chef who recommended local places for us to visit I was completely blown away, they consistently went one step above and beyond our expectations and were extremely friendly and professional about it. One thing I will say is make sure you try out their restaurant the Oxbow. The food and service is incredible! It’s absolutely a do not miss.

I got to spend 3 nights at the Arts Kensington. My room was quiet, really clean and comfortable in every way. I especially liked that it opened out onto a nice little patio! Really outstanding: the breakfast! Although the menu is limited I felt super content with whatever I ordered. Best thing besides eating was watching the cook prepare everything from scratch. Delicious!

My wife and I stayed here for the first time on July 30th. We were greeted at the front desk by Miranda. She was incredible to deal with. The early check in, the extra fan and complimentary coffee tray in the morning made our trip. The skoah products in the bathroom were amazing as well. This hotel has a limited number of rooms but they treat you very well. Amazing location as well. We wish we had more time to explore the river valley with the rental bikes. We will be back anytime we stay in Calgary! 100% happy.

Such a nice boutique hotel in Calgary. Rooms with fireplace, every detail is perfect.

The food portions for the 3 course dinner could be bigger. The atmosphere in there is great and the staffs are friendly. Found some stains on the flat sheet of our bed and we received a new one to replace ourselves. Overall is good.

This place is a hidden Jem! Great location just out of downtown feels like a world away service is outstanding I usually come to town once a month and I will definitely be staying here again. The staff appreciates your business and it shows. Rooms are welcoming, cozy, dark and clean. The resteraunt is as good as or better than any 5 ⭐️ hotel I’ve stayed at.

Lovely hotel in Calgary outside of the centre. Rooms are large and comfortable. 20 dollars for car parking is extortionate outside of the centre though. Bathroom lighting could also be improved.

Very well put together rooms, the staff was friendly and very knowledgeable. I would recommend the inn for being one of the nicer stays in the area.

My (new) wife Holly and I recently hosted our wedding reception at the Kensington Riverside Inn and I must say the entire experience was incredible. KRI was such a lovely and accommodating venue and both my wife and I are so thankful for all of the effort the staff put forth. From food to wine to rooms, the entire affair was 5 star from start to finish and we could not be happier. Special thanks to Matthew Holy and Hilary Lewis for their attention to detail, and to the entire team for ensuring the whole experience was unforgettable.

My husband and I went to the Oxbow Restaurant for my birthday. We asked for a table on the patio since it was such a beautiful evening. They gave us a free glass of bubbly to each of us. We ordered the 3 course Chef's menu with wine pairing and was not disappointed. We started off with a delicious beet salad beautifully arranged on the plate. Then came the pork entree over greens. The pork was done perfectly and was very tender. The dessert was a pavlova with berries. The wines selected for each course was perfect. All the food came at the right time and we didn't feel hurried at all. Our waitress was very knowledgeable and explained each dish thoroughly. It was a very memorable night had by all. We will definitely be going back.

Was only inside for a brief moment whilst waiting for a friend, but during that time the place seemed very tidy and well kept, and the staff were very nice. Seems like a great place to stay!

Excellent experience. Once we arrived we were greeted by a staff member to help with all of our stuff and tell us about everything they had to offer. Our room was spotless and very cozy. Lots to do within walking distance as well. Highly recommended!

Had an excellent brunch buffet at Oxbow. The room is intimate and comfortable. The spread of food was amazing with unique offerings far beyond the usual continental breakfast fair. The servers were attentive and polite. The location is close to the river and lots of businesses. Very convenient.

Everything about this place from walking in the front door, to their customer service, and the accommodations was perfection. It was clean, quiet for the location, surrounded by tons of little stores and quirky pubs and restaurants. We could have easily spent a week there and never would have gotten bored. Hot tea was placed outside our door in the mornings and they gave us personalized messages with the forecast for the following day in the evenings which was a perfect touch to top off everything else. We were sad to leave and we can't wait to go back.

Stayed one night and thoroughly recommend this place. Staff were helpful and courteous. Only addition I would say is to have coffee/tea in the room instead of brought to you in the morning in a flask. Previous reviews have mentioned about the road being noisy but my wife and I never noticed the noise.

Way too expensive for what you get and the service is horrible. There are so many other great hotels in Calgary, this was a major disappointment.

We recently stayed at the Kensington Riverside Inn for our wedding in July 2014. Mandy was wonderful to organize the room block for our guests as well as coordinating our 2 night stay. We called for an early check-in and they were able to accommodate us and the room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel delivers breakfast to the room (toast and OJ) each morning and they even had gluten free toast which was unexpected and appreciated. The front desk was very accommodating if we needed anything and everyone is extremely friendly and helpful. The location of the hotel is perfect and we only had to walk across the street to start our wedding photos. I would definitely recommend this boutique hotel to anyone traveling to Calgary or looking for a romantic night away. There was champagne on ice and rose petals in the room upon our return from our wedding. 10/10.

I ate at the Chef's Table restaurant, didn't actually stay at the Inn. The food is awesome but a bit pricey. Definitely worth it though.

Really nice place to eat! I liked the food but service was a bit slow. Enjoyed it overall however.
