Very nice designs inside the lobby. Wish I could say the same for the insides for the rooms but I wasn’t even accepted to go take a quick peak AFTER I’ve made the effort to go and visit in-person. The staff at the reception weren’t as helpful as I thought they should be. For me, this part doesn’t really match up with the previous reviews. Perhaps they were instructed to be more friendly to foreigners as opposed to be as accommodating to local folks. Some of the restricted answers to my inquiries were: “Only a GM knows” and no effort was ever made to contact said, “GMs” in my place either. I was able to take a good look at the pool and it doesn’t seem that impressive either as compared to other hotels that are much bigger and are much much cheaper for an overnight stay. As a personal preference, Anantara is going to be one of the hotels/resorts that is going to be lower down in my list whenever I’d wanna make a reservation to stay in Siem Reap.

Food, Accommodation, location, services, atmosphere is the best that can be the best resort in Siem Reap, highly recommended. Will never let you disappointed. This resort is fabulous!

The service and hospitality was kind and welcoming. The staff goes out of their way to make sure you are completely taken care of. It was a wonderful 2 nights while we toured Siem Reap. Breakfast was delicious, with a wide variety of offerings. Even the food at the lovely poolside was good! The spa was an oasis of calm and serenity, I wish we’d had more time. The room amenities are luxurious, right down to the insect repellant! The pillow menu ensures that your bedding meets your needs and a good night’s rest.

Excellent rooms, great location, great hospitality & service, highly recommend.

Broken sink in the Bathroom, took them two days to fix it. Mind you our stay was only for 3 days. The restaurant had no idea what vegan food was. Rooms were ok, but not the 5 star quality, air con was full blast but we were still feeling the heat. TV was a pain in the backside to work. Staff was really nice and helpful. Cocktails were good. Pool area was nice but again not 5 star quality.

Service is exquisite, food selections at Chi Restaurant are fresh and filling, the structures are clean and artistic, location is quite near to town proper considering the free transportation provided via tuktuk; I used the gym and availed of promo spa, and even learned how to fold lotus flowers! Overall, my stay was relaxing and everything I could ever desire!

Really enjoyable stay at Anantara Angkor Resort. The staff was very accommodating and the place was relaxing. Our group enjoyed hanging out poolside and also happy hour drinks and snacks. The rooms were well appointed and beer, soda, coffee and water was all complimentary and replenished daily. The location is only about 10 minutes from the airport, Pub Street, Night Market, etc. And not too far from Angkor Wat. Anantara even thought of littlw stuff like customizes insect repellant lotion and spray and they gave us take out cups of coffee when we checked out before we went to the airport. Definitely a great experience!

This is a boutique hotel with some amazing friendly and helpful staff. We were surprised at how quickly they responded for help on anything. On of the useful things about the hotel is that they provide a mobile phone for you to use when you are in Siem Reap. This is helpful to call your driver or the hotel to pick you up as they have a local tuktuk that can drop you off or pick you up anywhere in town. They have only one restaurant which serves as a breakfast place, cafe and restaurant at nigh. The F&B Manager Mr Sheldon Irani was both courteous and helpful with ideas on what to do and where to eat. They also have a happy hour cocktail from 530 to 630pm every evening. While they have a nice spa with a great ambiance and therapists, the prices (even with a 1 for 1 offer) were atleast double of what you would pay at a good quality spa in the city. Overall — I would definitely recommend this place to everyone.

Yes, this is Anantara Angkor Resort in siem reap Cambodia, 24 help you everything, so many experience to join swimming pool look the garden view relaxing so many times and talk to with staff, they are so friendly I'm so happy to with them also,. ❤❤❤❤❤❤

We stayed 4 night at Anantara Angkor Resort. It was a lovely stay from the begining til the end. When we arrived, we got complimentary pick up. The resort is about 10 minutes by car from the airport. To go to down down it takes about 10 minutes with Tuk Tuk (local transport) ; provided by the resort as a complimentary to their guests. The Tuk Tuk will send & pick us up, guest provided with a local handphone to call the receptionist to be pick up. The breakfast buffet was d…elicious, not big selection but quality comes before quantity; we can also order warm metal. They have delicious salads. The room decorated tastefully & spacious. They are very generous with complimentary snacks: fruits, 3 small jars with dry fruits, nuts & cookies (the cookies so delicious, it melt at your toungue; forget your diet with them! ), and every afternoon they send you some mini cakes. The water in the pool was good, even here you will get complimentary freshments: cold bottle water, cold good smell hand towel & fruits There receptionist will do at a great lenght to make you comfortable. We were recommended to have a dinner at one restaurant by the canal, it was a beautiful restaurant with delicious food. Everytime you come back to the hotel, they will greets you that make you fell like going home to your own house. When we are leaving they gave us complimentary (again) car to the airport. This is a resort (boutique hotel) that we will definetely would like to comeback.

Luxury Hotel with original innovations but… The first access to the room is not working the lighting for lack of the card main switch (not the key) For two times blocked the keyhole. Dashboard lighting, cooling and alarm centralized, it can only be accessed from a single side of the bed and after lights out, impossible to see the appropriate button. Staff very attentive and helpful but incompetent.

Stayed at the Anantara suite. Room is fantastic but the service could be better. Food is not great but with the city only 15 mins away I wouldnt recommend eating in the resort. The free tuk tuk ride into town is a very convenient facility and I used it every day … multiple times.

A quiet small resort. Great rooms. Great amenities… And great staff. Location is out of the eating and normal crowd… But it's not difficult to get any of the transport to anywhere. Warm heated pool. Slightly disappointed with varieties of the buffet breakfast. Hotel can arrange early morning packing of simple breakfast for your early morning excursion to see sunrise at the angkorwat. Just need to tell.

I enjoyed my stay at Anantara Angkor Resort. The staff are well trained and very intuitive. They know what you want even before you ask for it but they are not intrusive and allow you to enjoy your privacy. The room I stayed in was spacious and does the Anantara brand justice. The sole restaurant serves some of the best fusion food in Siem Reap. I enjoyed my stay here and would not hesitate to go back.

My trip was very perfect at Anantara Angkor. We felt that we were at home. The staffs are outstanding and exceed our expectations. They are keen in your details and do things for you without asking. I had plan to do the sunrise at Angkor Wat last Saturday. I had the appointment with our guide at 4.30 AM. Before leaving from the hotel the staff brought us a picnic breakfast. I can remember that I didn’t ask for it. The food is good. The room is gorgeous. All staff always make sure that your stay will be perfect. Thank you all of you to make our stay perfectly.

A different property of Anantara, more a boutique hotel than a spa. The city of Sien Reap doesn't even allow big buildings near Angkor, but this Anantara is really charming and elegant. And the closest luxury hotel to Angkor. I strongly recommend it.

A fantasy resort with extremely wonderful staff.

Fantastic place. Incredible service and some of the best food we've ever had. Breakfast lunch and dinner were all exceptional. The complimentary shuttle to and from town is great — you even get a mobile phone during your stay to call them for pickup. Gym had everything you need and the pool was the perfect place to relax. Definitely one of the best — if not the best place to stay in Siem Reap.

I highly recommend the resort for travelers who are looking for a peaceful five stars resort in a superb location. The room was luxurious and spacious. The food was god and the staff are awesome and very professional.

We stayed here for 5 nights and highly recommend it. Boutique hotels always provide superior personalized service, and Anantara Angkor exceeded all our expectations. The staff were very friendly and attentive, even walking with us from the lobby to the restaurant, spa and hotel entrance every time we passed by. The setting is beautiful and relaxing. We love the flowers, koi pond, salt water pool, courtyard and many water features, and it's so quiet at night, like being in the countryside. I also love seeing butterflies on my patio every morning. I realize guests may prefer to eat out, but the food at the Chi restaurant is among the best we've ever tasted! We loved it so much we ate as many different dishes as we could.
From the breakfast menu, we tried the porridge, fried rice and fried noodles. The buffet spread is also amazing.
For lunch and dinner, make sure you try the crab cakes, fish amok and the wonderful desserts (crispy banana, sticky rice, steamed pumpkin, lime cheesecake and ice-creams). We also appreciate the hotel's help in arranging our private tours. We had a terrific guide, Samnang, who made the experience memorable and enjoyable.
And the Anantara signature massage is heavenly! Eliminated our aches and pains, and we're still energized after 2 days. Our only concern is the mattresses, which are a bit too soft and caused some backache when we woke up. Aside from this, everything was perfect.

Stayed at Anantara Angkor Resort for 4 nights in the last week of October, definitely a 5 star service. The staff were super friendly. The location is very good and easy to find as located on the main road and close to Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom, and all famous temples. Firstly I was worried if any noise affected from the main road, but once you were in the resort, it was just another world, very peaceful and relaxed. Liked the hotel's free shutter service to the downtown, so I can learn and experience the night market and local stuff, just less than 10 minutes and no traffics. Also, loved the cambodian's fired chicken noodle at the resort's restaurants, I had it 4 times already, aie aie aie yummy and good stuff. The staff at the restaurants were very friendly. They stopped by and checked you out for the foods and if anything is alright. Sometimes, you don't find this type of care in another 5 star hotels. This is lovely. Thank you to the resort team for the services. I did enjoy my stay. :)

Unfortunately only had 3 nights there over 2015 Easter weekend but what a lovely boutique hotel. The hotel itself very well maintained and clean, lovely pool, the room very comfortable and dutifully cleaned each day, the dining excellent (both food quality range and presentation), but the real highlight is the staff. Extremely attentive, active, friendly, the 'can't do enough for you' types that make you want to return. Uber relaxing massage too. It's ideally located midpoint between the airport, Angkor Wat complex and down-town Siem Reap. I strongly recommend when touring Angkor Wat, you book through the hotel a driver and a guide. After a hot slog around the vast area and many temples and ruins, the cold towels, cool water and air-con when returning to the car is a delicious relief. Super enjoyable stay.
