This is a lovely little oasis surrounded by either not much at all or lots of building sites and rubbish, but once inside this small resort it’s very, very nice with excellent service /food and a pool to cool off in, internet is good, the beach is not far to walk and was quiet. Great place to stop before travelling on to the islands.

We are super happy that my husband choose for as this place. I'm travel with my daughter and we both spending here good time. Food is really good, staff really helpful, fast internet, clean rooms, swimming pool and quiet area but still you can walk to shops, massages and different bars… If we ever come back to sihanoukville (but because it's new Macao I'm not sure) we will choose this place again.

Clean and romantic ambiance.

Don't look for anything else. Bungalows are super nice, clean. Food and drink are good. Staff is very professional and helpful.

Lovely place… the best food and drinks we have had in Cambodia. Everything is spotlessly clean. Staff are friendly and competent. The location is outside the grime and noise of the city, it has a relaxed, comfortable feel.

Great place to sleep and eat, beach 15 minute walk, food about 5 minutes but beware mud surrounds you.

Beautiful budget resort. Get a cabin on the river. Meal wasn't so good and the mains were served at the same time as the entree snacks… so you end up with a pile of cold food.

A lovely, private place in Otres Village with beautiful gardens, a quiet pool and clean rooms. Food was excellent and the staff was so kind, especially Sophia. The layout is sprawling with lots of little pathways around the gardens and river. It's also set back from the main road so it's quiet even when there are parties and dances happening. Highly recommend!

Very nice and peaceful place. The owner and people working there are very nice and helpful, the room is great with BeinSport to watch PSG games.
The swimming pool is small but so nice in the middle of vegetation. You can play pool for free. They lend you bicycle for free also. The breakfast and other food are great also.
However, sometimes you have only cold water

Had one of my best time there! It’s beautiful, clean, wonderful staff that are ready to ensure your stay is comfortable! Definitely love and adore Bora who was so helpful with tips and kinds on what to do and where to eat! I would definitely stay there again and do recommend this to friends and family!

Comfortable, quiet rooms. Possibly not the best located place if you want to be right at the beach but it has a nice bar, good food and friendly staff. It is also located close to some other great little bars and restaurants in Otres Village.

Room smells. Bad service. Bad food. Not a river but a muddy canal.

A hidden gem! Loved everything in this resort! The people are so nice and friendly, it's so clean, the food is really delicious, … When going to otres, I would definitely recommend Sok Sabay! Walking distance from the beach.

Nice Hotel, a bit remote but with a bike or Tuk Tuk, no Problem.

The Saturday night party is a lot of fun! Tho almost all foreigners. If you're looking for something different, there are a few ladyboys looking to say hi.

I got happily surprised when I got here. Had expected a very "alternative" market but got happy to see that it suits everyone how is after a relaxed atmosphere with a lot of different food options. The cheesecake is a must! Not Cambodian at all though, could have been a market in NZ.

Good place to buy souvenirs and local craft items. Fun in the evening with live music available once a week.

A must visit. Locals and expat atmosphere, some really great food stalls including a Portuguese burger and Cambodian Scotch eggs. Music late into the night. But tricky to find so ask people once your off the beach. Def. Def. Def. Go. If your there on weekend.

Nice bungalows, great staff and amazingly good food. One caveat: the adjoining night market on Saturdays can be pretty noisy.

Live music venue, arts and crafts and food market. Open from sunset til late. A must see. Great vibe. Good for families, groups, backpackers, couples, everyone!

I booked 2 nights, so imagine my surprise when I arrive the afternoon between my nights to see that my things have been moved out of the room and the cleaning staff won't let me in my room. The manager or whoever said I didn't book two nights and then blamed me for his mistake after I showed them I had. Said they would give me the room back if I wanted it but they had to cancel someone else's room. The burden of canceling because they are overbooked shouldn't fall on the customer, I shouldn't be made to feel guilty because they overbooked. I certainly shouldn't be dumped out on my ass in the middle of the day because they overbooked. And I shouldn't be blamed because they didn't check their books or whatever. I don't even understand how such a small place could make a mistake like this and how they have the balls to blame me and kick me out for it. Fuck this place.

Sok Sabay is the most beautiful and quiet place we've been to in Sihanoukville.
The food is delicious (we had the lovliest sunday roast dinner thanks to Ash) and accompanied by some beautiful piano music played live by the owner and his friend.
The location is gorgeous with loads of plants to attract butterflies and a pool that is lit by night. The staff is very friendly and willing to help you with any kind of request. The rooms are very clean and of high standard with an ac, a fan, TV and a fridge to keep your beverages cold. The bathroom is quite new and also very clean.
Initially, we came to stay for one night. We extended to two more and are now sad to leave.

Stayed there 8 nights, unbelievable staff and food. A must!

It is a wonderful place to stay, find some peace and gain new energy for further travelling — I called it "my happy place" when I was there. It's like a little paradise. The food in the restaurant is overwhelmingly delicious! And the people are lovely and helpful all the time. Even if it isn't that cheap (especially for backpackers who need to have a look at their budget) I would nevertheless highly recommend to stay there for at least a short time — it's totally worth it!
