Beautiful place and great host! The garden and the bungalows are lovely!

Mama Clare was very kind and friendly. The place looks very pretty and it was very clean. We had what we needed.

Very nice, quirky place — sleeping up in "treehouses". Mama Clare was so kind and welcoming. Very clean. Set back from the main road inside of a nice lil village — not a far walk to all the restaurants nearby. Clare helped us get a scooter within a few minutes of inquiring about it. The flooring is a bit weak so whenever my friend moved around in the room, I could totally feel it. Not a big deal tho.

One of the best kept secrets in otres village. Tight nit guest house abutting an estuary river. The wooden Bungalows are set high up in the sky, three stories up. The property is more or less well groomed.

We loved our stay with Clare! As we were arriving at 7am after a night bus ride we were very happy to find out that our bungalow had already be prepared without any extra charge (Clare insisted on the early chrck in being free). The Bungalow was nice and clean, no ac but vents and — very important — a mosquito net without any holes :). Under the bungalow there are two hammocks, so you can easily use this space as your „living room“. The simple but clean bathroom is in a separate house and used by all guests together. Clare is the best host ever — always in a good mood, happy to help or to have a chat anytime. Her recommendations for food, or which beach to go to made our stay complete. We will be coming back soon :)

The only place to stay in Otres. Home from home and the best host ever.

This place has everything it takes to feel completely comfortable. "Mama" Clare is confident, warm-hearted, helpful and taffy.
I stayed ten days because the garden by the river with the 6 tree houses is actually a "happy" place!
With the treehouse, a child's room came true for me. Bamboo, wood, fresh air, view of the. River. I haven't slept that well in a long time. And the cicadas chirped.
There was also a snow-white mosquito net and equally clean pillows and sheets.
Mama Clare makes sure everyone can be more than happy. She helps with difficulties of all kinds, has suggestions for ventures and three kayaks. The Oats in coconutwater for breakfast are delicious.
I recommend Mama Clares!

Highly recommended! Its the first time that I write a review because im always too lazy but my stay at mama clares must be documented :)
I arrived during chinese new year so I couldnt find a free room. Although she was also fully booked she offered me a cosy hammock where I could sleep for free… I felt so comfortable right away that you have more the impression to stay at a friends place rather a guest house! You start the day with fresh bagels and end it with the lovely view from the unique treehouses
I can guarantee you will have a wonderful stay — thank you again and see you soon.

Had the good fortune of staying at Mama Clare's while in Otres and loved every minute. Perfect place to kick back and relax in a hammock by the river. Clare is a wonderful lady and could not have been more helpful and kind to us during our our stay. We didn't want to leave and will be back to stay here during future visits to Cambodia.

Mama Clare's is a fantastic little hideaway in the relaxed and peaceful Otres Village.
The rooms are large and airy with super comfy beds and gorgeous views over the gardens and river.
Clare runs a school for the local kids here and they often pop bye to say Hello!
There are hammocks for chilling in, a quaint kitchen to use and large tabled area for chats over tea or coffee about your travels.
Clare is really easy going and helpful with anything you wish to need or know.
I had the pleasure of staying here for my last week in Cambodia and I highly recommend you stay here for a while.
