New good value ibis hotel in safe area. Small 16 qm rooms, nice staff. Hotel has 16 floors, each floor has only two rooms with double bed. Twin beds are around 160 cm width. Street side can be very noisy, ask for back side. There is an ATM in the lobby. Big Breakfast buffet is around 20-25 B$ per person with cheese, ham, eggs, fresh fruits, Joghurts, Coffee, Tee and fresh orange juice… Close to Posto 5 beach. AC works good. The have new comfortable sweet ibis bed.

Only good thing about this hotel was a location. I'm not really sure if the receptionist could speak English since he never talked or even glanced at me when I checked in with my friend, who can speak Brazilian Portuguese. I understand if it was because of the language barrier since it's my bad that I cannot speak Portuguese in Brazil, but acting as if I don't exist was a bit uncomfortable. The room was okay except the washroom, which smelled bad. The towels were really dirty with weird brown stains so we had to ask to change them few times. Also, we stayed 4 days but they only provided us soap on our last day, so I'm not sure if they always give soap or you need to be lucky. On the second day, we went to the beach, came back to hotel in the afternoon and found that the maid left the door to our room open, and, to crown it all, our room key stopped working. We called the receptionist right away and they said they will talk to the manager, but there was no follow-up for another two days of our stay. Last but not least, they charged us for breakfast for 4 days–not two, but one person because apparently I don't exist–which we never had. Fortunately it didn't take long to prove, but it was not a pleasant way to end the stay for sure.

Nice hotel, nice and clean. Great location! Only complaint was the air conditioning was really loud and they were unable to resolve quickly for us and we had no time to waste as only there one day!

Small rooms, nice location. Bare in mind that most of the receptionist can't speak English (they're nice but not helpful). The worst part was the cleaning level — stayed for 10 days, the didn't change my sheets, even after I asked them to do so! The flipped the pillow and ironed the same blanket! Really disappointing, won't recommend staying here, not a giod value for your money. 1 star for the location.

Here for Carnaval, beaches, and the sites. Great proximity for beaches, even though it's a 30min walk to Ipanema, 45 to Leblon. Metro station at the end of the block, 4 blocks to Copacabana beach. Good buffet breakfast — variation of proteins, nutrients/fruits, dairy and carbs. Hotel is no fuss, clean, problem-free, good AC. No much for amenities — iron board and iron on ground floor in room across from elevators. ATM at ground floor, lots of seating in the lobby, and foosball.

Good location, clean rooms; But the attention could and should improve. It did not live up to other hotels in the same chain in the country and mainland.

It's a wonderful place with an excellent team to receive anyone.

Good hotel, meets the Promise Q. The Wifi worked very well, and the location is nice too. Good value for money.

For me the location and the price were decisive.
The breakfast is charged separately, also saving potential and therefore a great plus.
The lobby and the breakfast room are very modern in design. Was once at the breakfast buffet: varied choice and coffee tastes good. I was sick of it.
On arrival I found several long women's hair on the floor in the hotel room, as if only a short time had been wiped. On the other hand, the shower was always squeaky clean like the toilet.
I would immediately book Ibis Posto 5 again, the location is just great. Don't forget: You are there to travel and enjoy the sun. The price does not let you overlook a room that is not completely clean. ;-)

Very good hotel. Perfectly located near subway station and the beach of Copa Cabana. To remember absolutely.

It was a sucessful experience at Rio. I experiment working a few days every year at Rio de Janeiro, usually stay at Copacabana neighborhood, but not at accor hotels, even being a frequent accor user. This is a very good choice : recent hotel, very good location, and as usual the accor hospitality.

Nice place on the copacabana beach, on the right conditions is one of the best places in rio for bodysurfing and bodyboarding.

Definitly my favourite Posto. Im pretty sure it has the softest sand.

Calm and cool beach. Beach gym options. Safe. In front of onibus point. A padaria. A bridge closer by to Av America's.

Great part of the beach a must visit.

Great location by the hotel I was staying at. Very friendly people around and a mix of tourist and locals.
