The thatched-roof cabanas are constructed from local hardwoods, stucco and designed by expert indigenous Belizean craftsmen, in the native style. Amazing place. Dinner was amazing. Staff was wonderful to us. Meals were incredible. Our rooms were everything we expected … warm and inviting. We will definitely come back for a longer visit!
The guide was amazing. The horses are smart at what they do, carrying people! It was raining when we went and I was so scared the horse would slip and fall. They are insanely smart and actually LOOK at what another horse is doing/where a horse is stepping basing where they'll step off of that. It's insane. The trail was beautiful and like I said, the guide was informative, telling us the history of this area, of the various plants and animals we would encounter After the horseback ride, they provided a meal for my mom and I. It was really good!
