Very nice and big venue with good heating/cooling system. Lots of space. Beautiful setting.

Very nice hotel. The staff are very smiling and professional. Very good value for money.

Disappointed poorly maintained despite its crazy charm outside not weeded anyone to greet you at the spa seat creaks in the tub torn handle room.

What a disappointment! But what potential! This location could be really wonderful — all the right pieces of the puzzle are there. However, there is something really going wrong! The staff clearly don't care, and the food was quite unappetizing. Half the wellness area was out of order. Lift was out of order. There was a power outage during my morning shower. Staff were rude and actually plainly unhelpful! Beautiful building and grounds. Great internal space. It is crying out for a little face lift! Genuinely makes me sad that this is happening to this location — I would love the opportunity to turn it around! Clearly the people who own it now do not deserve it!

Catastrophic hotel operation apparently steered to the bust and closing… Staff does not speak German and mainly not even English, hygiene catastrophic, room service overwhelms, food quality on AldiNiveau and all this at self-confident prices. Only the flair of the old monastery and the quiet location compensate a bit for this evil idea…

Magnificent hotel that's a former monastery, school and hospital. I had a most wonderful stay! :)

Could be bettter organized.

Honestly, aside from the very nice staff, nothing is good in this hotel. Room being said outclassed for two people and once in, we find two beds one person against the other, dust on the chandelier, the handkerchiefs in the bathroom are just a common everyday box deposited next to the sink.
As far as their "restaurant", they propose for €30 a buffet, cold, worthy of a pic nic with white products of supermarket. Breakfast? Same thing, frozen cooks, hard bread, a warm omelet in a heating container. Anyway, unacceptable for a 4 *…
To finish our stay in beauty, their wellness/sauna is nothing more than a dark cellar with three deckchairs, two hot rooms that they dare to call sauna, a second with three cold showers, and one last inaccessible due to works.
Basically, aside from wandering around naked looking for a sauna that doesn't exist, this is the perfect place.
I would not recommend this hotel.

A beautiful location set in a quite town. Lovely for events/weddings etc. Took a while to locate it. Service is ordinary.

Hotel disappointing by the decoration, service, value for money. Beautiful building but poorly finished. Rooms worthy of a 2 star and again! Airco did not work, bathroom dated, and exterior not maintained. No risk that I will advise him.

I was very disappointed, it's not a four star. Cleanliness leaves something to be desired, air conditioning down and other. The surroundings of the building left abandoned and the interior is greatly deteriorated.

Not very clean, poorly ventilated room… no glass or water in the room. 5€ a bottle of water at the bar! Very nice building but poorly maintained… Too bad!

Decent hotel (no more) but the cosy rooms are not worth a 4 star.

Very nicely done great room, breakfast ok, something for everyone. The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. Only deduction: Breakfast was from 0700, but it took a while before everything was served up.

Beautiful rooms. The setting is very nice and quiet. Expensive meal but very high quality!

We woke up at 0:30 pm by very loud music. Furthermore, a Dutch couple stood in front of our window and had their relationship dispute there. The room was very clean. When we wanted to go to our room, the electronic card didn't work and we went down to the front desk and the lady turned it off, but she thought I should handle the E-card carefully. Hey… wanted to sell me for stupid? So, we can not recommend this hotel to anyone, as here at We, disco takes place and sleep is not possible.

Amazing location. Rooms are spacious and the staff just brilliant definately will come again.

Not a 4 star level. We expected much better, 10 years ago, it was probably very well here, but not anymore. I would not recommend the hotel.

Great hotel and service. Looking for a romantic weekend? This is the place.

A unique location. Very quiet. A good way of exploring the area is to rent some bikes. The small town of Sluis is close enough for a day trip.

Sauna facility — they have 2 saunas, 1was closed. You do not get extra towels for the sauna. Rooms are really great. Very nicely made. If you shower, prepare for a wet floor. Towels are old and worn down. You are not getting nice thick ones. Breakfast was bad, when we complained, it was improved instantly. Restaurant — we advise to eat elsewhere. Menu is very limited. Food is pre-cooked and then heated. Service is questionable. Atmosphere is not nice. Oh, and you get over charged for whatever you take. Check online for cheap deals; we paid 120 a night excl dinner; there were people there that paid 99 per night incl. Dinner. Overall, it is a place never to return.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay.
