I had a horrible experience at this hotel! I'm a frequent flyer to Barbados and have stayed at numerous hotels in Barbados but the customer service here was unbelievable! Joan was absolutely rude, unwelcoming, and obnoxious! The hotel is aware of her behaviour and refuses to address it! She was rude to my guest who came to see me at the hotel and d ude to my boyfriend who was staying with me at the hotel! My guest and boyfriend are both Bajan! I let her know that I had no hot water in my room, the toilet wouldn't flush, the toilet was leaking, my room was infested with ants all over the dresser and bed sheets, and the remote to the TV wasn't working! I simply asked her to have someone check these issues out. She told me to let the water run. I turned the knob in each direction and let it run for 15 minutes in each direction. Still no warm water. A few other guests had the same complaint about the water issue and in turn they made it seem like I didn't know how to use the shower. No one ever came and I was forced to take a cold shower the night I arrived and the next morning. So I asked her to speak with a manger and her response was there is no manager on the weekends so I basically have to deal with it and she's not relocating me to a different room. I had to call Travelocity and report this hotel! There should always be a manager on call so that was a poor excuse. Then she talks about me at the front desk while my boyfriend was waiting to get the gym key.

A very nice convenient hotel on the busy St. Lawrence gap strip. Have been using here for years. Courteous and friendly staff.

Do not stay at this hotel if you want to be able to have a good night of sleep — you’re warned! There’s a karaoke bar and nightclub right in front of the hotel that goes on and on and on all night for 7 nights a week! When we spoke to the front desk about it, their answer was “it’s St Lawrence Gap and this is what happens”. Do not make the mistake to stay in this hotel!

Excellent location… apartment style rooms… again… excellent location… rooms are a bit dated… customer service is… ok.

Pleasant hotel by the sea, in need of some TLC but can't complain. Convenient store nearby, many local bars and restaurants.

Great place to stay. Reasonable price. Great location if you like night life and the hotel staff is very friendly and very helpful. This is my second time here and will defiantly come back.

The most hospitable comfortable apartment hotel in Barbados. I keep coming back to Rostrevor year after year, as did my parents and many of their friends. It's just great here!

Loved this hotel in St Lawrence gap barbados. The area has other hotels, restaurants and a very active nightlife. Staff very lovely, rooms are self catering. Had a room with a balcony and view of the ocean best for sunrise! Rooms fully air conditioned and cleaned daily, had fridge/ freezer, coffee maker, kettle, stove, microwave yep. Self catering. Perfect for families too.

We've been coming here for many years, the service is always good and the staff are friendly, the rooms are clean and tidy, the pool area is well kept and it has access to a small sandy beach. There is a small bar/restaurant by the pool which serves good food. The hotel is situated in the busy part of The Gap so there are plenty of bars and restaurants in walking distance. Dover and Worthing beach are only 10 to 15 mins walk away, when we've been there have been alot of turtles at Worthing.

Nice rooms, friendly staff, great location, good for a swim in the sea or pool and just opposite Frank's for a 2 for 1 Dakari.

The rooms are good, the Wi-Fi sucks if you're staying in room 215 or anywhere in the area. Food was nice, Price's are affordable and staffs are friendly.

It looks exactly like the pics. You will not be dissappear. That view is spectacular. The room is comfortable. No problem getting meals. Love it.

All the guest I take from this place always say its great and I know this place since I was a boy growing up all around St Lawrence gap.

Close to the beach and the airport, with lots to do and eat. Loved it. 4 stars because when we arrived there was some issues that were resolved.

Great location and excellent service.

My wife and I have gone here twice. We stay in the older part of the hotel on the second floor. We love listening to the ocean at night. The private balcony is perfect to watch the sunsets. The room is clean and spacious. The private beach in front of the hotel is perfect and hardly used. It feels like you have your own private beach. The location is nice because you are close to great restaurants and everyone is friendly.

We had an excellent stay at Hotel Rostrevor last November. The accommodations were perfect. Our oceanview room had an excellent view. The staff were accommodating and attentive. We would gladly stay here again.

Was there last September for 2 weeks going back in May of this year for 4 weeks had a fabulous time did not want to come home Barbados I think nearest place to heaven the people are friendly nothing was to much trouble hospitality second to none Staff at rostrevor friendly warm helpful apartments good too head everything you needed ocean view breathtaking cannot May cannot come quick enough.

I spend as much time as possible here takes me 17 hours door to door to get there but I am about to take another trip my 22 in the last 12 year back to my paradise the staff are like family helpful and friendly nothing is too much Rostrevor and it's repeat visitors are like coming home to a big family party. The rooms are varied from super luxury in the newest wing to large and comfortable in the oldest part where I stay.

I stayed in an ocean view room at Rostrevor for four nights for Thanksgiving 2012. The rooms are very nice and the staff was very accommodating. The location is perfect for tourists and locals. The beach is beautiful and the hotel is located in the middle of St. Lawrence Gap. There is always something going on in the Gap. I would definitely come back again.

I spend a weekend there it was wounderful.
