Probably the most relaxing city hotel ever. The rooms are spacious and airy with fabulous views and very comfy beds. The spa is a delight after a day trekking around the tourist trail. The restaurant and bar have spectacular views, great fun and great food. The hotel is ideally placed on the river and is an easy few minutes walk to the center of town. The icing on the cake is how friendly and helpful we have found the staff. We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend.

I was a guest in the hotel as well as in the spa as a day guest.
The rooms are nice and very minimalist modern. The staff friendly and accommodating at the reception.

In any case, I can't praise the spa. The facial I used was unfortunately not good. The beautician did not seem to have been familiar with the booked treatment. It made her feel as if she was constantly looking at the atomic clock when the treatment would be over. As a result, the treatment was ready after 50 minutes instead of the agreed 60 minutes (plus 15 minutes of exposure of the mask while nothing of her neck massage took place).
I have been to many beauty salons and regularly take advantage of facials. This one was by far the worst and I wouldn't recommend the spa.

The room was super nice, clean, very comfortable, and the staff was amazing. They went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Vienna! Thank you!

One of the best hotels if have stayed at. Wonderfull rooms and service and a lovely breakfeast. We travelled with our 1 year Old daugther and all the facilities for her was just perfect. It is the second time I stay herre but defently not the last time.

Even in the perhaps somewhat difficult Corona time, we as a family enjoyed a wonderful short break. There was nothing missing. Top staff and service, hotel is very well located with a beautiful view over Vienna.

It is a great hotel the rooms are very large and the roof terase is the hammer. The food is also good as the service.

Rooftop Restaurant is a must visit place. Limited but delicious vegetarian food and really good wine. At the resturant just ask for Mr. Fahed and you'll get the best service from this fine Gentleman.

The Loft has a very nice ambiance, super view and very nice service. Yesterday we celebrated the wedding of friends. The only thing that didn't fit on this night, the DJ was MOSAKEN. When I asked for a song for the bride and groom, he was very naughty and I showed him my phone, where the Name of the song stood at the display, he took my phone out of my Hand and slammed it on the DJ booth! A bottomless impudence. In a good restaurant with a high level such a behavior is unacceptable. We would be happy to come back, but not as a DJ!

Very rude and ignorant door staff, we tried to take our son for a drink for his 21st birthday and firstly they sent him away inappropriate shoes we returned with appropriate shoes, to be asked what was he wearing underneath his Moncler jacket, he opened his coat to show them, the man went inside kept us standing then came out and said sorry no. We are a respectable family who were treat like dirt! Shame on you Sofitel.

I love the hotel, the place it’s beautiful and the people were nice and polite, from the receptionists to the person who did my room. For my next visit in Vienna I will stay here again.

Great catering, unique rooms and super view.

Great location, easy walk across the river to the city centre and main sites to visit. The DAS lift bar is great for drinks and wonderful view of the city, sunset great time to visit. Very modern room with great amenities.

Except the great view on the old city, the food, nicely presented, is totally overpriced and in very limited choice.

I’ve been reading good reviews about the rooftop bar, Das Loft. But honestly there is nothing special about it, except the view. Stuff is not really friendly, they didn’t let us take pictures saying flash is not good and also once we got our table they sent other people to us without even asking us, that’s kind of rude. I’ve been to many rooftop bars around the world, and this one is nothing special. Drinks are ok, like everywhere else, this place looks overrated good luck on improving your service!

Well decorated hotel with unique style. Great food on the Das Loft.

The place itself is amazing! 4/5 because the staff attitude is not always appropriate. When I politely asked the waiter about the options in the menu for a specific drink he simply said ''It is exactly what is says in the menu''. I then told him that I do not know German and he was just staring at me… it is not rocket science :) Treat tourists exactly how you want to be treated in such a lounge if you visit elsewhere!

I was at Le Loft with friends … can't complaint about service, ambience, view, quality of food and drinks. All were excellent. Just the food portion and price made prices very expensive. I guess that's the price one pays for exclusive place like The Loft.
