We spontaneously stayed overnight on the way home … beautiful, big room, great bathroom and dog friendly… very friendly operator and great ambiance. Well worth a visit.

Vegetarian or not, it doesn't matter. If you are a friend of good cuisine and friendly staff, the Wastlwirt is just right. Anytime again. Many thanks.

Absolutely recommendable!
We ordered a grill plate for home for our son's first communion and the Wastlwirt team more than outdone themselves.
Great and varied meats — and vegetable selection, a very tasty Potato Vogerl salad and our son still talks about the fries today… 😊
All guests were thrilled and more than full — the price absolutely fair!

Home-style cuisine, Seasonal menu, very nice Service, also extra wishes was received, the Price. The host has been renovated over the last few years and prepared. Let now a very pleasant place to end the evening. Of the adjacent road, you will see in the guest room. If you want to sit in the garden and the street disturbs you sit better in the rear.

A simple hotel with good terasse If you want a simple room in a old hotel and cheap. This is it During weekends the staff leaves and the restaurant is closed.

Very authentic place, excellent Wiener Schnitzel, hosts and Beergarden but not for people who don't smoke cigarettes. Our bedroom was a non smoking room but due to being above the pub it was just impossible to stop the smell coming in from the hallway.

We stayed one night and had dinner at the restaurant in the same Gasthof, hotel basic, clean and comfortable not luxuries, food at restaurant typical from the area really recommendable, we didn't have breakfast, not parking for the hotel, it is driving distance 10 to 20 min to the historical center and Mozart house, consider that shops close early in the area.

Super little place. Very friendly and helpful staff / family. The only issue is the smoking from downstairs filters in to the rooms at the top of the landing. The little beer garden is just amazing and the guest house is a hop and bus trip away from Old Town. Definitely worth a stay.

Absolutely stank of smoke : (didn't reply to my emails and even though I spoke to them on the phone in the morning to say our flight was arriving in the evening and we needed late check in, having been told this would be absolutely fine on the phone, when we arrived the lady covering reception said she didn't anything about this phone call and that it was lucky she was still there to check us in… Positives: apart from the smell of smoke it was cheap and cheerful. About a 20/25 mins walk to Salzburg centre.

Overnight and eaten, everything was really great! Nice people who really care for you, I've never experienced it so well. Many great compliments and I will definitely be back!
