We were thrilled with how much love the Winkler family and all their employees are hosting here. The location is a dream, food and drinks of very good quality and the service friendly, competent and very authentic. We are very happy to come back.

Best service in Salzburg, perfect team. The situation is, of course, a stroke of luck. Price/performance also very good.

Occasion family celebration. Great hotel above Salzburg located rural. Friendly staff, very nice rooms and great food! We were there with our motorcycles and were also allowed to park them in the garage. We really liked it at the Gersberg! Happy again!

We only ate dinner in the restaurant. It was cozy, clean, the staff very friendly and accommodating. The food was a dream and for us there were many dishes that we did not know yet.
Outside there are free parking spaces and the view over Salzburg is beautiful.
We would love to come back.

Nice view and very romantic. However, better dressed guests are treated preferentially by the staff although the price does not make any difference. Nevertheless, it is worth the trip.

Perfect for a weekend of time out. Pure relaxation in a unique environment, with perfect service and delicious food. Come here for 10 years professionally and privately, every time an experience.

Great drinks and staff were friendly, very nice location with excellent views. Good place to relax after a hike on gaisberg.

Do yourself a favour, book somewhere else. The front desk just lied to me about the service hour of the facilities. When I talked to head waiter (only English speaking staff after 10pm) awhile later, they said that it was available but they didn't have access to the keys as the front desk staff I talked to left already. They say they have a 24 hour front desk as well but that's a lie too. Expedia tried to call them for an hour but no answer. Any more lies? Yes, the breakfast is not free as advertised. I don't mind hotels being small or lack of facilities, but that's a big no if the staff being dishonest to their guests.

We had booked this hotel for a 5 day trip to Salzburg.
The House lies far away from the noise of the city, but still very fast in the city centre. From our balcony we were able to enjoy a wonderful view over Salzburg.
Our room was very spacious and just like the bathroom 1A in shot.
The breakfast is rich and there was enough of everything.
In the evening, you can enjoy excellent local dishes at the restaurant.
All in all, very nice hotel, very good food, very friendly and competent staff.
Only criticism, in a 4 star hotel, I expect that this shower gel is daily filled up ;-) is

Unfortunately the Service is not on the ball. Expressly ordered food to be, of course, wrong on the table, while waiting for the Alternative, everything was cold. This was unfortunately also the Service force cold.

Beautiful grounds, lodge like atmosphere. We paid for the upgraded comfort double room with a balcony, but were disappointed with the size of the room we had received. It really had enough room for the bed; maybe 1 meter clearance on each side. The bathroom was very small with a tiny corner shower. Other than the room accommodations, the hotel is charming, clean and has great service. The restaurant is quaint, personalized and has fabulous cuisine. Although kid friendly, I would not reccomend this venue to families. It is very quiet and intimate which made it a bit uncomfortable for us with young children.
