Staff are super nice and helpful. The food, breakfast and meals at seminars were always delicious. The rooms, however, leave to be desired: Wished off, just lukewarm water, smell from the kitchen, creaky (although closed, by air) doors.

I have recently spent a few weekends in the Hotel Gurtler and could not have asked for a nicer stay. I have been travelling around Austria and the Gurtler has been one of the nicest and friendliest hotels that I have stayed in. The hotel is run by a lovely host called Karen who is always around to help with anything from advice on travel or help with your room. She is extremely friendly and genuinely cares about making your stay at the hotel as nice as it can possibly be. The other reception staff / breakfast / bar staff are always the same friendly faces and are willing to help with anything you need. They are always there on the reception desk to say goodbye or welcome you back in whenever you pop out which makes the hotel feel extremely safe and welcoming. Being the same people they remember your breakfast orders etc which is a lovely personal touch. The rooms are spacious with comfy beds and are always cleaned to a high standard daily. The bathrooms are clean and the showers work extremely well. The Wi-Fi is strong and easy to access. The breakfast is huge and has a lovely variety of things to eat. I would certainly return to the Hotel Gurtler in future! Thank you to this lovely hotel.

This place make me feel like home. It's running by a family and both of them are staying there as well. Very friendly staffs. Easy access for a short walk around the town. Parking spaces are available for those who are staying there. Highly recommended.
