Stayed there Friday 28th till Sun 30th. Had a great room Parked at the back right next to our room. Sat next to the car, chilled out with beers, bourbon and music. Awesome night. Spacious, I love cooking, so we had barrimundi, salad and bourbon for dinner. Can’t wait to do it again. Quick beer at the local, Hannans hotel on Saturday turned into all dayer. Don’t let Sky talk you into doing cocktails. We started with beer and wAtching NRL on our iPad from 1pm, as they don’t have FOXTEL, ended up doing $10 cocktails until late, next night ever. The View, we will be back!

We had a nice room with comfy bed, very polite reception staff … but when it came to breakfast in the restaurant thats when they lost our loyalty … breakfast shut at 0830 we where there by 0815 … I wanted some bacon on toast, not too hard, my husband wanted the big breakfast and the man that was behind us wanted poached eggs … the chief came out complaining that poached eggs were too hard and that bacon on toast wasn’t on the menu… we got up and left and so did the other man … DOME up the road is amazing for breakfast!

The room was freezing the mattress on the fold out lounge was super thin and extremely uncomfortable.

Take your hard earned money at a premium price to supply substanded service & amenities — never again!

Very average we are not all mine workers and the web site pics are very decieving.

When booking a room via their website there was no notification of their security deposit policy. I would have stayed elsewhere if I had known.

My husband and I travel frequently, and have stayed at Hotels and Motels all over Australia. But I'm afraid to say that The View on Hannans Motel is a Motel we will never stay at again, our room was very grotty and we could plainly hear the conversations of the guests in the room next to us! Not very private! The fan in the bathroom sounded like it was going to explode, and the shower head leaked all night long. If the staff smiled their face would crack. Please avoid!

Simple clean quiet with nice free bbq area few beers n breakfast next morning… will stay again.

The hotel is cool. Everthing you would need. Staff is good and friendly. Have good places to eat nearby. Amenities are good. Wifi is good.

My wife and I stayed one night in room 205. There was a mine shut down so available rooms were at a premium. The staff at booking in time were bright, friendly and helpful. My wife has MS so we asked for a room for somebody with a disability. The shower flooded almost the whole bathroom floor even with shower flow turned down. The basin was in the opposite corner to the shower but the water from the shower was at your feet. Not good for a disabled person. The carpet hadn't been vacuumed, the rubbish bin was full from the previous person, there were long black hairs in the bed, the fridge and the handbasin were dirty and the toilet seat was broken or loose. When I checked out the following morning the person on the desk said oh ok we will have to get those looked at. First and last time for us.

Very clean new room. Wifi is fast as there must be a modem in every room, my room has one anyway. Room service is great. Nice food. I haven't finished my stay yet as I am already impressed.

Clean and modern room at very back of complex was small but OK for 1night. Staff were very professional but not friendly — maybe use to business guests not so many tourists. OK location as 5min from main shopping area. Still recovering how expensive Kalgoorlie was ($12.50 for pint of beer). Everything was pricey in this town.

The individual rooms are fine but overall layout of blocks, car parking, restaurant etc is confusing. No maps anywhere to help out. Breakfast is ridiculously overpriced and very poor quality — go somewhere else for brekky.

Nice, clean, inexpensive place to stay. Staff are wonderful. Room Wi-Fi. Very close to town, 2 minutes walking distance. Restaurant is very good. Introducing myself as vegetarian/vegan, the chefs and staff went out of their way to help with my food choices.

Room was clean and adequate but dinner menu was not a menu, everything I asked for they apparent did not have. So I ordered a steak with salad and vegies. NO salad, vegies half cooked and more carrots than a vegie farm on plate. AND asked for mushroom gravy and got pepper gravy. Ran by tourist.

Clean tidy room in a central location. I stayed in a self contained room with reasonable size fridge, stove and microwave. There's movies constantly rolling on movie channel 1 & 2 and the Wi-Fi here is exceptional.

Would have given a 5 if we had gotten more than 5 towels for 6 people and they weren't holding my bond for longer than necessary.

Romeo was very friendly in reception when checking in room was tidy would stay her again.

Gr8 shower nice n hot heaps water pressure; clean, tidy room. Bed good. TV works. Aircon warms well, but filter very dirty. Only Shampoo bottle was only half full, left over from previous customer. Tea/coffee complimentary. Quiet rooms, good soundproofing. Seems a bit open to the public as alleyway runs through the rooms, lighting in these areas needs to be brighter.

Great location, short walk to the Kalgoorlie Hotel Pub and around the corner from the famous Langtrees. The room was neat and tidy. I was really disappointed with the mould in the bathroom and when having a shower the bathroom floor got soaking wet. The customer service was ok, the attendants were foreign so I found it difficult understanding and explaining things, they were very friendly.

Brilliant Motel! the apartments are clean and the kitchenette is enough for quick meals.

Good accommodation for the price and location. Very central to food, drink and shopping all pretty much within walking distance. The room was quite simple but very clean and well looked after. Parking isn't out the front but the hotel is more accustomed to FIFO type of tenant I think so more laid out like barracks.

Neat clean rooms at a good price. Value for money. Free laundry service available. Also convenient location.

Stayed for 3 nights — The food was very good, the rooms are nice and clean and the staff are very helpful. Close to town and quite during the day.

Was a great location close to the centre of Kalgoorlie. The rooms were new, clean and of sufficient size for 2 people staying 2 nights. We found each interaction with the staff to be pleasant and genuine. I also enjoyed having free Wi-Fi and access to premium channels such as Discovery and National Geographic.

The food at the Blue Monkey restaurant was fantastic. Rooms were clean and well appointed. As with most accommodation in Kalgoorlie, the mine workers going to work at 6am could annoy some people. 1 hr free Wi-Fi access could be a little more generous. But at least some free access is offered.

Great for exploring Kal. Would definitely stay again.

WE stayed for 8 days Our room was immaculate Check in was Breeze and the central location was fantastic, Definitely would be a repeat customer and would recommend to any one wishing to stay in Kalgoorlie THanks.

Great clean rooms, close to main super markets and other shopping. The staff are excellent, going out of their way to be helpful. Blue Monkey Restaurant good for Dinner and great for Breakfast. Have stayed there on a few occasions when travelling through the Goldfields in the course of my job. Would Definitely recommend this Hotel when in Kalgoorlie.

Stayed here for four nights in May 09. Room was rather small but adequate. Good location and close to town. Adjoining resturant the Blue Monkey was excellent for breakfast and reasonable for dinner.

Lol I stayed there for one night. I and my wife arrived to find that my booking did not exist. After much messing around they found me a room. I asked them to change it as one of the beds was un made, weird, must be a Goldie Locks living in Kalgoorlie. So anyway they put us ito another room but we were kept awake by noisy lovers next door. Lol we checked out next morning and went to the Railway Motel, gosh what a change, I told the lady behind the desk what had happened and she just shook her head and said typical. Anyway she upgraded us to a spa room and gave us a free bottle of Champers, what a doll. Lol I hope we did not keep the people in the next room awake.
