You will be hard pressed to find better accomodation down South. We have had the best family holidays at this place. Our kids loved it. Can’t wait to go back.

Amazing! Great family friendly cottage stay. We stayed for 4 nights and had a timber cottage and it was fantastic. We’ll set up cottages. Friendly family who run it. Thanks Drew, Jules, your kids and lisa. Your hospitality is awesome. The animals roam free and are great to go and pat at anytime during the day. Feed time every morning which is good. Truck rides are fun, fire out. Movie night. Heated pool, tables games, dvd to borrow with games and trail walks are great at day or night… prime location to the town and many things you want to see while there. Highly Recommend you try this place. We took teenagers and they loved the animals and freedom of the farm as well.

We had a wonderful 3 night stay Our daughter just loved all the animals they were so friendly and always up for a little pat she wanted to take them all home with us. Will definitely stay again. Thanks so much.

Best family accomodation we have ever been to! Lots of thought out activities for the kids but the animal feeding is the absolute winner — even for farm and vet kids who are use to animals. The bush walks were beautiful, cabin was small but had all the facilities you required, and was clean and comfortable. Great indoor swimming pool for the kids and is well located just on the outskirts of town, close enough to be convenient yet far enough away to be secluded! Will be staying here again for sure. Andrew and Jules you have done amazing job here!

A++++ Just enjoyed a wonderful week, Amazing amenity’s everything has been thought out what you may need, Children loved every bit of it as did we can’t wait for our next trip there. If you wanted to kick back and relax perfect if you wanted to keep busy perfect something for everyone and great Hosts.

We Really enjoyed our stay here, Andrew was friendly and helpful, our son loved feeding the animals and the cottage was clean, comfortable and warm. Beautiful surroundings in a rural setting that was conveniently close to town.

With such a relaxed and easy going ‘home away from home’ vibe, this gorgeous farm stay has been the perfect chance for our farm animal obsessed family to feed, pat and cuddle a heap of adorable animals. Owners and hosts Andrew and Jules, as well as their three children have all been so welcoming and friendly. They are so knowledgeable about their animals and offer a heap of fun each morning with animal feeding and then a truck ride around the farm. We highly recommend Margaret River Holiday Cottages to families with children, who are looking to create some beautiful memories together. We are only three days into our five day stay, and our four year old is already asking “when will we be coming back here? ”

This was the second time we have stayed here and both times were excellent. Close to town and the property has plenty to keep the kids occupied.
We will be back.

We had a really fabulous trip staying in Gumnut house. Was absolutely perfect — certainly very comfortable and Clean with thoughtful little extras that made it easy with a tribe of children (such as knives that were actually sharp). Andrew and his family were friendly, knowledgeable and nothing was too much trouble. The farm animals were well cared for and loved and the high light of our stay. The girls adored feeding times, spending time with the chickens and donkeys. We loved how family friendly the whole place is. We spent time walking around the discovery trail, at the fire pit roasting marshmallows and playing in the cubby house. Really was a children’s paradise and therefore allowed the adults to relax. We loved our stay, especially the farm animals. Kids loved feeding the animals especially the young calves and taking selfies with the Alpacas :) with young and older kids there was something for everyone. The indoor pool and pool table a hit with the bigger kids, and the bush trail to ride on the bikes. The outside Cinema was the cherry on the
top watching movies under the stars with the donkey watching too. Thanks to our host to making this a very personal fantastic exoerience!

Absolutely everything you could ask for in a cottage. Service was amazing, such a beautiful family. Really made the trip extra special for us. Went above and beyond with the activities and my son loved the truck ride. We will definitely be back.

Such an amazing experience we had staying at Holiday cottage, the cabin was well equipped and very comfy. There were so many different areas to explore, a few of our favourites were the bush trail walk, the fire pit, play ground and feeding the animals. We felt very welcome and the hosts are super friendly. Definitely we be going back.

Really enjoyed staying here last weekend. Owners were really lovely and our place was clean and cosy with modern needs.

Amazing place to take kids. Baby animals to feed in the morning, fire pit in the evening for roasting marshmallows. We had the gorgeous playground right in front of our cottage. Cottages are very comfortable with nice snug bedding and nicely stocked kitchen, things like plastic plates for kids, board games and DVDs in the pantry and also things like salt, pepper, foil and glad wrap if you haven't brought them with you. Host spent time checking what we needed on arrival and highlighted family friendly activities and day trips on a local map.

Had an utterly amazing time staying here with Andrew and his family and will be telling all our friends without a doubt.
From the second we booked we were contacted by Andrew who accommodated all our needs and was ever so friendly. Not only was it super easy to find but upon arriving we were greeted with smiles and knew we’d picked the right place! The cottage was the the perfect size and was just so homey and comfortable. The animals were just so friendly and we spent some time with their alpacas and cows. A perfect place for families or couples.

Absolutely amazing accommodation! Not sure what was better the beautiful cabin perfect for our family or the above and beyond service from the friendly owners, who made the stay amazing! We could not have asked for anything better.

Fantastic little farm. Kitty & Chloe calves where the kids favourite and loved feeding the baby cows their bottles.
Fire pit (bush Tele) was my favourite whilst sipping an emu export in the evening. Andrew gave me the task of maintaining the flames. I believe I done a good job.
Fantastic cottages, great size for a family of 4. Well equipped with clean good quality gear. Great views. So much for the kids to do and explore whilst mum and dad sit back and relax. Close to town and to many of the attractions Margaret river have to offer.
Andrew and his family where so friendly and accommodating. Highly recommend. 5 stars from us. See you all next time.

Peaceful, clean, all you need, great hosts and close to all that the region has to offer. A lovely eclectic group of animals to meet. A genuinely lovely experience… I'll be back.

Such an amazing place especially for families! perfect to relax and unwind: cosy cottages, a playground for the kids, daily animal feedings, just a few minutes outside of margaret river town and surrounded by wineries. The lovely hosts julia and andrew offer a very personal service, which is hard to come by. We had a fabulous time and will definitely come back!
as an added bonus, julia is also an amazing family photographer in case you’re keen to get some awesome family pics.

Another wonderful stay. Great place to relax and unwind. Beautiful grounds and facilities. Loved feeding the animals at the cottages and visiting the local wineries. We will be back again!

Such an amazing place! Warm and welcoming hosts. Cottages are simple and amazingly clean with lovely linen and comfy beds. The surrounding area is full of beautiful walks and so close to the amenities of MR.
The animals make the stay wonderful for children of all ages. Mind are 9 and 11 and absolutely loved them. We will absolutely be back x.

Wonderful, lovable host. The Cottages are lovingly furnished with everything you need, it is very quiet and in the Morning the kangaroos come in. We have felt ourselves very well and can recommend the Cottages, especially the location is just before the Margaret river is perfect

Perfect place for young families! we thoroughly enjoyed our time at MRHC. Not only were Andrew and Jules friendly and helpful in every way, they have set up this place with warmth and relaxation! Fires every night, inviting cottages that have everything you need for a great time away, and the kids loved making new friends in the playground and open space! we will definitely be back! xoxo.

Such an amazing couple Andrew and his wife. So friendly and helpful. The setting of the cottages are so serene and beautiful. I arrived from Perth on my motorbike, a bit frozen, and the shower was amazing. Cottage was immaculate, bed was comfy. Wish I had stayed another night. Will definitely be bringing the family back. Thanks for the great hospitality Andrew and family.

I believe that it was an amazing adventure from the start a few days before our get away begun I received a message ensuring that I was still coming so I need anything ect the contact and information was amazing and having a number to contact about anything was a personal and safe thing aswell:) On our day on leaving it was a big drive I received another message insuring that we have a safe drive and contact if need, this also was very welcoming. Arriving at the cottage I was amazed that it was a package deal country and city life in one shops where less then a 19 min drive away! And the veiw of fields and nature was amazing!
The cottage was big and spacious had everything I needed for my family. The playground was In eyes watch to supervise my daughter as we unpacked. Everything we wanted to do was within 20mins away. We found this place was very family oriented and Andrew and his Family supported our stay every step of the way.
Andrews children played and did activities with my daughter and had a ball! Highly recommend!

Idyllic escape in Margaret River. Lovely self contained cottages with great owner/hosts.

Such a lovely place to stay with the family, so many little things to keep everyone entertained and the hosts are really nice people. We will be back here, that's for sure.

Beautiful setting, Perfect location and perfect service.

The Margaret River Holiday cottages are set in bushland 3kms out of town. Perfect location for wineries and beach. Lots of bird life and a peaceful setting.

We stayed for two nights with an overseas guest and our children. The cottage was lovely, clean and close to town. Highly recommend for families.

Great cottages! Had a wonderful moment in this cottage! Should spend more days here! Strongly recommend this place! Weakness: Owner should prepare heater for new comer, and toilet only get one toilet bowl, and one shower room. Others are great!

Great location cottages are great and people running it are lovely.

Loved the birds & wild life, enjoyed the rain on roof, cottage warm and easy to find where we wanted to go, lacked a few basic things ie s&p, 2nd tea towel especially when 3 adults staying, boys wanted a bigger telly.

Nice quiet little spot nestled amongst the trees with very friendly owners… we had a great couple of nights and will be going back again…
Thoroughly recommend the place to anyone looking to get away from the rat race…

Great little spot, lovely grounds, good facilities, really enjoyed our stay.

Quiet accommodation immersed in nature.

Tucked away and secluded a few k's from town in plenty of natural tree land it was a nice place to stay during winter. Cosy and quiet, would stay again. TV didn't work properly which want a massive drama but would have been good to keep the kids busy for 30 mins before bed as per their routine. Other than that work a visit.

Clean rooms, great location, tranquil and full of birdlife.

Good location, comfortable bed but shabby, meanly appointed and inadequate air-con meant September evenings were freezing.

Very cosy & clean, fantastic location! Will definitely stay here again. When I say cosy I mean the wood fire in the winter not that it's small
We stayed in the 4 bed with 2 families, ample room but could do with a 2nd bathroom to help with the queues in the morning but saying that we managed perfectly well.

What a lovely place run by lovely people. Quiet, rustic and country. Loved it. Even more when my little one fell ill and they took our cottage off the internet to book in case she couldn't travel the next day with no obligation to pay. We will be back one day. Thank you xx.

A bit difficult to spot, otherwise OK.

Lovely and peaceful place with very friendly and helpful staff. Great location; 10min away from Redgate Beach, less than 5min from Margaret River Hotel and all the wineries were near by. Amazing place for you, your friends and family. 5 / 5
