You will love this place! Peter and Margot are fantastic hosts in this beautiful luxurious country style accomodation. We particularly loved the complimentary evening drinks and nibbles before going out for dinner. Beechworth has many great eating places — it's foodie heaven and all a few streets walk away from Finches of Beechworth. Definitely 5 stars from me.

Our recent stay at Finches made us feel relaxed and the breakfast and the property were fantastic. Has perfect location, the lobby nicely decorated, extremely clean, their room was luxurious in style, comfortable & equipped with all you need. Has free high-speed Wi-Fi. Food for breakfast was so delectable and well-presented. Staff were nice and helpful. Overall, a very pleasant stay. If you’re looking for a great hotel, good location and great service. I would definitely recommend Finches of Beechworth.

We were looking for an immaculate and relatively nice hotel with good service and that’s exactly what we got. The service and the quality of the hosts Margo & Peter made our experience a great one. They were very professional, warm and friendly; they made us feel extremely welcome from check-in to checkout. And the great restored property and garden delighted us with what was else to come. Also, enjoyed their breakfast, so fresh, delicious and well-served and the rooms were great; the beds were very comfy. We just stay in just 2 days, but we’ll never forget our entire experience. All in all, a great stay.

The only problem was that we couldn't stay longer! On arrival we instantly felt relaxed, indulged and very welcome. The evening canapés and drinks were a pleasant and very welcome surprise before we wandered off to dinner. The room was beautiful. Could have stayed in that bed all weekend…

Would recommend this luxury B&B. My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, thanks to the lovely hosts! Breakfast had plenty of options, which we both loved. The gardens and the pool were beautiful which made me so calm and relaxed! 5 stars — hope to return soon.

I organised a surprise weekend escape to Finches of Beechworth for my partner and I for our anniversary. It was a perfect romantic getaway and she was over the moon with my choice! We spent the morning lounging by the pool, exploring the historic town by bike which they provided us, and the afternoon sitting on our private balcony which overlooked half an acre of stunning gardens, drinking fantastic local wines. We were both very impressed with the food as well — the ingredients were fresh and sourced locally. We loved our stay here, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and romantic escape.

Our accomodation at Finches of Beechworth, which is nestled in amongst the beautifully manicured gardens, was absolutely stunning. I was relieved to hear that children were not allowed here — we enjoyed the silence and sweet sounds of nature, and could happily swim and relax by the pool without disruption. My partner and I also loved the delicious food and wine — we had breakfast, and a Tapas Plate in the afternoon. The whole experience was amazing and incredibly relaxing, and was great value for money! I would highly recommend staying at Finches of Beechworth! 5 star service, facilities, food and wine, and overall experience.

Loved our stay! Beautiful gardens, beautiful decorations, beautiful interior design and wonderful hosts. The breakfast was my lovely, plenty of options to have over our stay. The pool was perfect on the warm days we were there, a nice relaxation area! Definitely would recommend and we hope we can come back soon, thanks for a lovely stay.

We were so lucky to stay at this magnificent property. Peter and Margo are wonderful hosts. The attention to detail is superb. Little things like chilled water at hand. A beautiful swimming pool which is unusual for a B&B. 6:00 o’clock drinks were lovely on the patio. Canapés were served. Rooms are extremely comfortable and clean as a whistle. We’ll be back.

Me and my partner took a long weekend here to get away from our hectic lives, it was the perfect spot! We really enjoyed just relaxing in the idyllic gardens, such a stunning area. It was a little chilly in the evenings which ment for a perfect night by the open fireplace, I’m originally from England so this was a real treat for me especially We stayed in the king 5 room which was so spacious and super comfortable, The whole place felt like a step back in time, a real feel of old England with style and elegance. The owners peter and Margo made use feel so welcome and we will definitely be back to see them again soon! Thanks so much for a lovely weekend!

5 star accomodation! Spent a wonderful romantic weekend in a beautiful room. Breakfast was delicious. Hot and cold options available. The staff were amazing, professional and very accommodating. Can’t wait to come back again.

We stayed at Finches and were overwhelmed at the property, the gardens and of course the pool we used. Peter & Margo are very friendly but not in your face so we had a great time and even met other guests at nibbles and drinks and joined them for a meal at the recomended restraunt in town We had a great time at Breakfast and would not hesitate to come back again.

Beautiful house, comfortable rooms, friendly owners who are happy to share the history of the place over a glass of wine and cheese, which they supply. Easy walk to town and some off street parking.

Finches of Beechworth is an amazing place to stay at, the hosts Peter & Margo are great and couldn't been more friendly or helpful. The rooms are beautiful some look out on the pool and over the garden which are just stunning. The interior design is just amazing and there is something beautiful to look at everywhere.

Utter perfection and absolute luxury. We felt spoilt by our gorgeous hosts Margo and Peter. Gourmet breakfast, complimentary evening cheese and wine platter, sumptuous bedrooms, beautiful gardens to relax in, walk to everywhere — although we didn't want to leave!. Everything was impeccable and we'll definitely be back.

We recently had the pleasure to stay at the newly opened Finches of Beechworth. The House, Gardens and Pool are a perfect mix of old and new, our room was a King suite and was lavishly decorated. Margo and Peter showed us the Heritage Award they recently won for the refurbishment. As our hosts they went to great lengths to make sure our weekend was well planned, they provided us with local knowledge of restaurants, museums, cafes, wineries and bike riding. We will definitely go back to Beechworth and stay at Finches of Beechworth.

What a wonderful experience! From the second I stepped inside I felt right at home. The house was gorgeously renovated and decorated — it took me right back to my childhood. Margo and Peter were wonderful hosts; by the time I left it felt like I had known them all my life. From handling meal bookings and ghost tours to giving advice on local history and sight seeing locations they were genial yet unobtrusive hosts. The property is gorgeous beyond description, the accomodation simply sumptuous. Don't even start me on the breakfast — possibly the best eggs I've ever had! Could not recommend more highly. If I were to move to the area I would consider moving in.

We stayed last week for a romantic weekend and Finches definitely delivered! One of the best B&B's we've ever stayed at! Fantasic setting with lots of beautiful views and wonderful hosts who serve wonderful food. Thoroughly enjoyed. Thank you.

We booked two nights in a room with a fire place and a queen size bed for our wedding anniversary. We questioned the size of the bed but the hosts insisted it was a queen. Slept one night on what turned out to be a double bed mattress (we measured it with a tape measure). We asked for another room and got a hostile response from the male host which lasted until we left the following day (he ignored us whenever we spoke to him). We were given a room with a queen size bed but no fire place. Through all this the woman host was very nice to us even after the issue. Breakfast was great and they have beautiful gardens. Without doubt this man is not cut out for the hospitality trade.
