Such a beautiful place to stay. Amenities always clean, grounds beautiful and tidy, staff friendly and helpful and lots to do if you like to take it easy, go for walks or bike rides. Would love to come back one day.

We have been coming here for 19 years the park is the best I have ever seen all the staff are so helpful it is amazing.

What an amazing place. I just had a gathering with friends & family there and everyone was very impressed. Spotless facilities. Wonderful helpful owners & staff. Beautiful surroundings. Such a peaceful feeling there. Thank you all for making my 70th a very memorable experience and thanks to Coffee Staines for putting on the amazing carvery spread for us & Julian James the musician for entertaining us. 🙏🙏😘😘🤗🤗

Fantastic friendly, super clean and such a well run park. Lovely sites, 15min walk to town around the lake and quaint homes. Amenities are all spotless, as are the grounds. Lots to do within the park and with their kayak and cycle hire. Owners very helpful. Great spot to stay, we booked for one night but stayed longer. The town is so interesting to explore with its prison and old history.

We just got back from a few days camping and had a fantastic time. Heaps of space for the kids to run around and ride their bikes, shady trees, clean amenities and a good camp kitchen. Sandy Beach with an adventure playground was just a short walk away, fantastic spot for a swim too. Ended our stay today with honey tasting in Beechworth and some deliciouse food from the Beechworth bakery. We sure will be back. Thanks for the great time.

We just finished camping here for 4 nights I have nothing but good things to say the park is so clean the facilitys are so clean the mangers/owners are just so welcoming and fantastic we will definitely be back.

The park is very pretty & office staff were lovely, however the man who directed us to our sight was a COMPLETE CONTROL FREAK! There is a distinct difference between helpful & making otherwise capable guests feel completely incompetent. It ruined the experience for us & we felt uncomfortable so we left. Shame, we were looking forward to staying.

Very pretty campsite with lake and autumn trees. Very helpful staff. Camp kitchen is great, clean and made use of herbs in herb garden. Highly recommend.

Ticked all the boxes, Close to Town, Immaculate Facilities, Very helpful and cheerful staff, Roger I think directed us to our site and helped us park, no need for divorce lawyer this trip. Will definitely be back.

A lovely privately owned park. I stayed in a cabin, which was very comfortable. I had friends with caravans and a dog staying at the same time. The sites were well laid out. Shower/toilet block was very clean. The owners/staff were very helpful and friendly, taking time to come around and talk to guests, and give information on the area. Nestled next to the picturesque Lake Sambell, and a short distance from the Beechworth CBD, the caravan park is the perfect place for a relaxing getaway. Would not hesitate in going there again.

Beautiful caravan park very pretty and the owners are so nice and helpful. The amenities are good, old but spotlessly clean. The town us a good 15 minute walk plenty of shops but most are only open on Friday Saturday and Sunday.

Well organised caravan park, caters well for the Easter period. Lots of different daily activities for the kids (outdoor movies, tractor rides and lots of outdoor things for the kids to do). We booked a non-powered site, which is quite nice, as it is away from the main powered camping areas. Only one issue is the old-style outdoor toilets (they do have updated amenities, although this is in the area where the powered sites are).

We got a fire pot and wheelbarrow of wood for $30. A town very much worth stopping in for some history and sight seeing.

Great rates, clean and well kept bathrooms, regularly cleaned kitchens, even a fridge to store food. Pretty views near the lake and a creek running along the edge of the property.

Great location with friendly staff. The lake is fantastic, and there is direct access to one of the greatest bushwalks in Victoria! Affordable prices and a great place to take the kids all year round.

Unreal! Awesome park and only a hop, skip & a jump to historic Beechworth, Berry Farms, National Park Waterfalls, great walks and a very good Information Centre. I also recommend for and people starting out in Lapidary to bisit the Jewellery store at the bottom of the main street hill in Historic Beechworth. Reason being you can Pychard great samples, sample boards and a variety of other items that will help with your new hobby. So much to see and do. Just go there!

A great caravan park, thoughtfully and well laid out, lots of trees, really (really! ) well kept, lovely camping sites, all amenities and all in good condition. Easy walk to Beechworth. Nice strolls around the lake only moments away. Peaceful. Definitely recommend this caravan park.

By far the best and most family friendly caravan park. The staff go above and beyond to ensure everyone has a great time and the kids hang out to ride their bikes, attend the craft activities, trailer rides, twilight movie and water fights with Kym.

Wonderful fun historical town to visit. Council have done a great job with the lake. Bakery has coffee plus goodies to die for. Chinese restaurant has been recommended so we look forward to visiting again.

Beautiful deciduous trees provide plenty of shade. Very clean amenities & well equipped camp kitchen. Very cheerful & helpful staff. Beechworth is well worth a visit. Will definitely visit again in the near future.

One of the best caravan parks we have stayed at in a while. It was very well maintained and amenities very clean. Unpowered sites are a great size with a lovely outlook. We will be back!

What a beautiful place to stay
We are currently spending our first whole family holiday here … and where we are situated — the cabins near the office — is just devine!
This part of the park gives you the feeling of peace, space & quiet serenity.
It goes to show that this place is as safe as can be when you can see kids running, riding and just generally having fun without having to be followed closely by their parents. It makes me feel calm and brings back memories of my childhood holidays.
Kym is amazing! Always has a smile on his face and stops to say hi to my son 1.5yrs & neice 4.5yrs. They love waving to him when he drives by on his 4wheeler. Haven't been able to fault it so far.

We're in heaven at the moment. We have the most perfect site of the park site no 94. We can see the whole lake and pond. The ducks you can see swimming around. The sun is sparkling on the water… So so peaceful just resting up doing nothing, just watching the beautiful view.

Great to little caravan park, nestled in the tree overlooking Lake Sambell, Sunsets are beautiful. If you're after a great view, request sites 91 and 92. Great little trails at your door step. Internet was down when we stayed there for a week which was disappointing, but I believe it is fixed now. Great for families.

Friendly welcome, amenities clean and tidy, powered and unpowered sites, plenty of shaded area for tents, wheelchair accessible.

We like this place mostly because we do a yearly family/friends group thing there, but this year they "lost" our cabin booking (apparently it's their sons wedding so more than likely lost on purpose) which was definitely done a year ago. Not very impressed, so we're trying the other park this year and if that is as good it will be our Beechworth go-to site for our gatherings from now on. If you book here, CHECK IT BEFORE YOU GO! I'm sure you don't want to be a 'lost' booking to something that suits them better. It is a nice place, but there are a lot of nice places at Beechworth.

Excellent park, facilities & staff. Base yourself here for a weekend or a longer stay you won't regret it. So close to everywhere and a very relaxing atmosphere.

Lovely friendly helpful staff. Very nice setting amongst huge trees, big easy to get on / off sites. Escorted to site, easy walk / ride to town so many things to do in Beechworth. Highly recommended, we will be back.

One of the best we have stayed at. Toilets are spotless! That's the first thing I look at lol. Our kids (14, 12, 8) had the best time ever. Trailer rides were the icing on the cake! Movie night was fabulous and the craft mornings were super fun said our kids. Bike rides all day past creeks and through the caravan park kept the kids very occupied. Hubby was rapt that the owners helped to reverse each van into the huge caravan sites. Made it quick and easy to get in and set up. Only complaint we had is that we didn't book for longer. Thanks to the owners for running a 10 out of 10 park. We will definitely be back.

Very beautiful and quiet place.

We stayed 2 nights in a cabin — seemed close to new and perfectly clean. The only minor detail was that the space each side of the beds was a bit narrow for getting up several times per night (not young any more! ) but this was not a fault as such. The beds were 100% comfortable and the whole experience has to be rated 5 stars for a cabin stay. ESPECIALLY impressed by the promptness in which they found and returned by parcel post two small bags — arrived in half the time I expected after my phone call! Great people!

Just like to take this opportunity to say a big thank you for what Roger and Mick did for us upon arrival, helping us solve a power issue with our van was second to non. We have never felt so welcome any where else in Australia. The hospitality that you guys gave us was amazing, couldn't wish for better service, friendliness and thoughfulness. The park in itself is beautiful especially at this time of the year. Rob and myself look forward to returning back for a another get away, your park is definitely high on our list. :)

After 2 years on the road in our van we must say that the Lake Sambell Park is one of the best run we have stayed in. From numerous visits we have found the proprietors Roger and Sue nothing but professional, polite, and quick to help out with any assistance one might have. They know the areas extremely well and can point you in the right direction if you are looking to explore the local area.

A really lovely park on the shores of Lake Sambell. There are many shady trees and the park seems to be really well cared for. Beechworth is a great holiday location. The park has bicycles, canoes and kayaks for hire so ideal for families.
