Great location, great prices and great friends. The best in short term apartment rentals right across the street from Docklands Harbor with a downtown tram right outside your door. You will love the facility and love the location.

Great location. Close to the free city tram network which makes it easy to get around. Close to shopping, restaurants and activities for kids. 2 bedroom apartment great for a family though double beds can be a little small for 2 adults. Clean, nicely furnished and well stocked. Great harbour view from our apartment.

This was one of the best experience I ever had. Everything from booking till checkout was smooth. They allowed me to continue staying in the same room my wife booked a week ago when I booked it and cleaned the apartment before I started my stay. They allowed us to keep our bags in the office until we started to our next destination. They even booked a cab for us and helped with our bags. Services apart the 2 receptionists were 2 of the best people I have ever met in my life. Thanks a lot team. They have small kitchen with fridge, laundry facility, separate bedroom, nice bathroom and a nice view.

Most disgraceful apartments and customer service. The price of the bond which is double the cost of the hotel room was only mentioned in 1 email at the last minute. I showed up to the hotel for my stay to be told I had to provide a bond. As I didn’t have that amount on me I went home to get a card which I could use for the bond. I then called the apartments once I had the card through after hours and was spoken to in an extremely rude way. The man I spoke to talked over me and was raising his voice. He told me that because the bond couldn’t be provided on first arrival that he cancelled my booking — which I did not give my permission to do so — he then told me that he wasn’t giving me a refund and it was too bad. I’m so appalled that this complex took $800, refused to give me a refund, despite the fault being theirs for not providing proper notification of their bond and spoke to me in such a rude way. Super unprofessional and I wish I could give it less than 1 star.

Absolutely absurd and exorbitant bond of $1500 for a room! at no point was this fee mentioned until after the room was booked and even then it was in the fine print of the bottom of an email. We were forced to drive home to retrieve this exorbitant amount. The male receptionist there is absolutely out of line. He cancelled the booking without my friends authorisation and then further refused to refund the $750 my friend had already payed. This place is an absolute scam! the people there talk back and talk over you on the phone, completely unprofessional but then again I suppose "this is an apartment and not a hotel"

Great spot. Right near the free city tram loop. Rooms had all the necessities and concierge was very helpful.

Well run. Well appointed and in a great location with excellent views from the apartments I have stayed in. I always enjoy my stays here.

We, 4 adults and 2 kids, stayed here for 4 nights. We all love this apartment. The receptionists were super nice. The location is convenient, which is in tram-free zone. We took free train to many places. The unit we lived has beautiful water view and city view. The living room and kitchen are spacious.

Excellent place for short visit. Fully equipped apartments at very affordable cost. No extra expense on laundry or else.

What a fantastic and wonderful time we had. Our apartment was amazing and the staff and management first class. I could not recommend Docklands Private Collection of Apartments more highly.

It has the most amazing view of the water and of the city. The services provided are first class. The apartments are plush, modern and clean. A prime location for anyone in this amazing city.

We had 6 guests over as we’re form Cairns & wanted to enjoy the luxury apartment (as what’s stated in your blog on your website)
We had 6 guests come to visit us because we wanted to cook & enjoy the surroundings (again, stated in your blog on the website) but we were bullied by your security & you both the night before we vacate.
My wife walked past your room at 307 where there was a hell of a lot of noise coming from but seems like you two stuck up fucks it’s ok to do anything you like.
Your security is sexist by calling my wife ‘sweetie’ several times.
My wife isn’t a drunk Lynette as she doesn’t drink & you labelling her this is unprofessional & yet another black mark against this establishment.
You’re both stalkers, you talk shit in saying our guest had a red jacket when nobody matched that description from our gathering… in actual fact I’d say you’re the drunk bitch.
I give 1 Star only because it didn’t have a zero option.

So the owners want you to feel welcome and to experience a service apartment, dine with friends and in a private surroundings but however we were unable to feel like this as the owners were staying in a room a few rooms from us. Not only were they being loud, drinking and doing whatever they wanted but had the audacity to make myself and my six guests over feel very unwelcome. In term slandered me and called me a drunk when I don’t even drink. Their Secuirity was a sleaze bag and kept calling me sweetie. I felt bullied and made to feel like I was a pheasant when I was paying top dollar. Don’t even both with this place!

I was having a really bad day on the day we were to check in. I was going to be late checking in so I rang their office. I took the wrong turn, rang the office. I took the wrong street, rang the office. I couldn’t find the car park, rang the office. Couldn’t find the door out of the car park, rang the office. Couldn’t find the apartment, rang the office and then because I had messed up my booking when I booked I rang the office about the beds. Even up until the very last phone call, the women who helped me were amazing. All the answers to my problems where beyond simple and on a good day, wouldn’t have been an issue for me, but this day. Thank you to the ends of the earth for being such lovely, welcoming, patient, understanding and tolerant people. The apartment was also brilliant, location superb, we will definitely be back. Thanks guys. X.

I have found them both to be extremely knowledgeable and professional with each and every time I am in contact with them. Stayed here for business and had one of my worst nights. I had a group next door who decided they'd use the evening to party with their music being played exceptionally loud from about 9pm untill 4am. I had a 5am wake up call to get to the airport. Unfortunately the staff were completely unresponsive to the issue. The walls are thin. The staff don't care. There are better options for less in Melbourne. Wouldn't return or recommend. The rooms are nice and large for Melbourne but it's simply not worth the risk.

Nice location over looking the small boat harbour. Quiet despite the active night life. With cruises leaving most nights. Room we stayed in was 2 bedroom 1 bathroom. Simple, with foxtel and free Wi-Fi. No house cleaning, the place is stocked with everything you need to cook and clean. It has Fridge, microwave, washing machine, dryer and all cooking pots pans cutlery. Situated right next to free tram service. Nice place if we visit Melbourne again might stay here again.

We we're extremely happy with our apartment for our family holiday recently (18 month old toddler and 4 adults), the apartment was very spacious and completely self-contained. Easy access to public transport and extremely secure requiring a tag to get into the building which was comforting. I liked the fact the TV was up on the wall and the DVD player and Foxtel box was as well out of reach of intrigued hands, the room was very child friendly; we did however move away any of the glass side tables, plates and things from the lower shelves in the kitchen knowing what he is like. We found the staff at the counter to be very helpful and friendly, we will definitely stay here again!

Arrived just before office closed 7pm and lady staff member on, Michelle I think, could not have been more helpfull. Full directions to room, parking etc. Room outstanding, clean, well equiped kitchen, great beds and quality linen. Great TV entertainment system and Wi-Fi. Could not complain. Thank you. (Only problem was new location of book in office, previous one was easier to get to)

Exceeded expectations. Although a slight walk from the CBD and train station, the Docklands Private Collection Apartments offer a significantly larger space for the same price. Even the smallest of apartments was enough for the three of us (2 adults, 1 baby). It has a kitchenette, large bathroom and separate bedroom. Extremely quiet living space. It is literally an apartment, so you have to organise to get your key from the office ahead of time (they can leave it in a lock box). From there, you enter the apartment block as if you were actually living in a small apartment. The staff were extremely friendly although there was a booking issue where they charged us ahead of time for a cot (because I said in email there was a possibility of requiring one). However I ordered this online from a different supplier. When they noted it arrived, they organised a refund of the cot without having to ask. They also put the cot, stroller and bed in the apartment and stored it for collection later. Even when I raised a query about additional charge on Amex as opposed to MasterCard, they went out of their way to refund me and charge me the MasterCard price instead. It was a very small thing, but they went out of their way to correct it nevertheless. We visit Melbourne often and we'll be back. Choice of view… suggest a view facing Docklands if at all possible. Great location, excellent service and everything you need. Our apartment seemed a bit dated and not like what was on the website. The apartment smelt (! ) and although was clean on the surface, felt like it needed a deep cleaning.

I enjoy staying at Docklands and I always get the team at Docklands Private Collection to set me up in one of their apartments. I love the service, the views and the funky feel of Docklands at night. The eateries are great and I feel really safe.

I stayed there for 2 weeks. Staff is cooperative. Hotel is clean.

Love this place, booked at the last minute for a work conference and was happy from beginning to end. Staff were super friendly and accommodating. The room was huge, clean and had all the modern comforts including Foxtel. There is a tram stop right at the front door including the brown free tram. Etihad stadium is so close you could throw a tennis ball at it. I had a one bedroom suite but there are 2 and 3 bedrooms available as well. I will definitely be looking at staying at the Docklands Private Collection next time I am in Melbourne.

Amazingly beautiful view. The apartment was clean, spacious and modern. The bathrooms were lovely and clean as were the bedrooms, all with a most spectacular view over Melbourne. The living area and kitchen areas were more than adequate and tastefully decorated. It also was only a two minute walk to the Tram stop and lots of well priced restaurants on the dock. We had a lovely three day stay. We would highly recommend these apartments.
