How do I start. The owner should definitely not be in business. My stay over 2 weeks resulted in them calling the police on me twice, going into my room and putting my things into garbage bags while I was in hospital sick and also braking there own written and signed agreement. To then keeping a laptop of mine and refusing to give it back whilst then saying it was put in the bin and not even on premises? I had the man in 801 stalk and harass me in a disturbing manner who would listen into my room to see if I was there and then talk to him self while saying horrible degrading and even rape comments towards me. The staff there notified but did absolutely nothing. I get evicted because I asked for my laptop back. I leave an older broken laptop in the room which I called to say I left one, he takes several days to get back to me and then refuses to give me my own laptop back? It doesn’t work it’s broken but kinda sentimental because my nan and pop gave it to me but he then thinks he has the right? I report the state of the rooms when I first arrived and how dirty and unkept they where. They also did nothing about this untill a week later. I have a $7k ring missing and then I find 2 massive bags full of other peoples electronics such as speakers head phones Walkman’s and even court paper work. Room keys for other places glasses clothes and the list goes on.

Upon entry in the apartment there was a blood stain on the carpet in the hallway in front of our room. Then we entered the room and found the walls, blinds, couch and carpets were disgusting. There were stains on almost every surface you look at. The shower was almost falling off the post it was attached to. The entire bathroom was filthy. Went to make a coffee and no cups or crockery in the cupboards. The bathroom has an exhaust fan on a sensor but the sensor is broken and almost fallen off the wall. The small bar fridge stunk like something had been left in there rotting. I stayed here for two night because it was convenient to St Vincent’s. Next time I would rather walk across a suburb every day than stay in that dump. I have never seen any motel so disgusting and filthy in my life. This place should be shut down as it is unhealthy for customers.

I’m waiting to see if they honour money back due to the circumstances upon check in.

Booked the room. As soon as I went in it was not suitable. They would not refund the full accommodation price. They kept one night. Easy money for them. A big no!

BEWARE!
Booked this room but didn’t stay.
1st off with, Druggos staying there, walking around the place, staring you up and down.
2nd, room was disgusting there was a cockroach in our shower curtain, smelled like smoke really bad that my wife couldn’t breathe properly, bed side table was over the bed so could easily hit your head, stains on the wall and looked like the wall has been stabbed a lot of times with a knife. Stains on the carpet. And even more.
Lady answering the phone wanted us to share a family room with a complete stranger, even though Covid-19 is happening and wouldn’t want to do anyway. At first refused to give us a refund but ended up only keeping cancelling fee which is still not good enough, will be taking that further. Had to find different accomodation at 8:30pm.
Worst place I’ve never seen and will be telling everyone not to go there! Cockroach is in photos.

Nice clean rooms, staff were extremely friendly. The beds were very comfy — will be coming back.

No star at all. This place sucks, dirty and very unorganized! Me, my husband and 3 kids stayed in this place for 3 days, and we regret it bigtime. The beds are old and so uncomfortable, and broken too. The sheets are filthy and old with holes in it. This place shouldnt even charge expensive on your stay as you wouldnt be satisfied. Total waste of money. Never again… A very dissapointing stay in this dirty old place. Would not recommend.

The door was not lockable and ants on the draws is not hygienic. Would not recommend. Me no come back, staff can barely speak English, not very friendly, was meant to have a large bed for four people, but was small false advertisement, cups were dirty. Bin was not empty when we got there.

Made an account just to trash this place. Horrible, experience rooms not cleaned at all. Ruined my friends birthday with their deception. I hear they are getting removed from booking. Com.

Bad experience right from the start, rude manager who ignored the complaints and turned it into something personal. Gave them a chance even though I did not receive as many rooms as I had originally booked and he still managed to stuff us around. The only good thing about this hotel was the lovely receptionist.

I’d like to give NO stars at all. This was a grubby place from the garage to the foyer to the hallways and the rooms. Service was similar very poor indeed. I had my car blocked by another car in the garage and they took over an hour to help me find the owner to get them to move it. It says no smoking permitted but the room stunk of old smoke that made your eyes sting. They have posters everywhere saying if you rate them higher than 8 online then you’ll pay lesser. Run by not nice non English speaking people from the Asian region. stay clear of this place at all costs!

Staff can barely speak English Cleaners cannot speak English at all They also charge $15 to service clean room Bad customer service staff stayed few months they don't clean room correctly after paying. They also came knocking on my door at 9.00 in the night asking for other bed in room which they wanted for another room and client.

Avoid this place at all costs! Worst customer service I think I’ve ever received. We were let into our room early which the receptionist seemed to have then used this against us when we complained about the cleanliness of our room, saying he did us a favour by letting us in early. We had a filthy room which looked as though it hadn’t actually been cleaned at all. A huge carving of a heart in the mirror, a table lamp which was falling off. The receptionist offered to move us to a different room, however in this process he started to get aggravated at me for me complaining, throwing insults at me about my wealth saying I’m obviously from a very rich background that’s why I’m being picky and that my partner wouldn’t have complained if it was him staying at the apartment alone, which makes 0 sense. He was on his phone and answering other phone calls about bookings whilst dealing with me which was very rude and unprofessional. The new room he moved us in was dusty and had finger prints and smears all down the glass mirror and shower screen, he then admitted to me this room was cleaned a few days ago so that’s why it didn’t need a second check over (which is what his first excuse was about the first room on why it wasn’t very clean) which means the room was very dusty but he said this was ok because of the price we paid for the room was so cheap?! Over all worst experience, was refused a full refund and only got half after 2 hours of dealing with the situation!

Worst ever experience we had in Comfy Kew. 1. Booking was made over the phone and was told we will have 2 king beds! While check in we were given 1 king bed and 1 sofa bed. Receptionist was not friendly when we checked in. We had to pay $50 more to get the room we made booking. 2. Kitchen had pots but no utensils! 3. Soap in bathroom was used. 4. Will suggest reception staff to be more friendly to their guests. Thank you but will definitely not coming again or referring anyone.

This place is so dirty! We checked in on a Saturday arvo to find the room dirty, the reception area was dirty it hadn’t looked like it had been cleaned in weeks. Carpets filthy, finger print marks on the mirrors, rip in upholstery of couch in reception.
We got into our room to find it just the same. Upon pulling the sheets back found bugs in the bed. Went down to reception to advise management we weren’t happy to then have to go upstairs to show them the bugs. The manager was rude not apologetic at all then decided to give us another room. (Turns out it was an upgrade) … the room was no different if not worse. Walked into the room and sofa had grease stains on the arms and base, smeared finger print marks all over the kitchenette (which clearly hadn’t been cleaned). Bathroom had hair on the floor and soap scum.
I then pulled the sheets back to find they had blood stains on them… I went back to reception. Manager was rude and started taking personal attacks out on myself. Saying I was too picky and that my house would be nowhere near as clean as the hotel room. Half way through our discussion his phone rang and answered it and started speaking in a different language. Which got me even angrier. There is no need for someone to be so rude when they are in the wrong. Once he got off his personal call He then proceeded to argue that his rooms are cleaned daily which I find hard to believe.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Awful experience at this hotel. My room was nothing like the images I saw online — it was dirty, there was large puddles of water all through the bathroom, 'I LOVE KA' was scratched/engraved into the mirror above the bed. And that was just to do with my room. The staff were very rude. I organised to check out an hour later than required when I made the booking. The morning I was due to check out the staff member was walking up and down the hall demanding everyone's room key to check out. I also had a lot of luggage and wasn't offered any help getting it down or up the stairs of the hotel while I was there — there are NO lifts. I emailed them about my experience and they have never responded. When I originally made my booking they responded to my emails almost immediately, but now since I've complained they refuse to respond after over a week. DO NOT book with them.

Room was full of ants. No one at reception to report this to. Bathroom floor flooded when I had a shower. Was told I could use the hotel car park so after I went to a show in Thornbury I tried to park there but it was full so I had to park on the street which was the only option. My car got towed overnight and now I have to get a taxi to Collingwood and pay $400 to get it back. I got zero sympathy from the staff when I mentioned this.

Do not stay at this place! Doesn't deserve even a star! My husband and I are extremely disappointment! Our room has been sold and used by others before we check-out! Not to common how dirty is the place eg. Bloods on bed sheet and moulds everywhere! Service is totally intolerent, a staff came in the room to check the broken tap but took our knife to cut a tool on his hand unauthorizedly! When we asked why our room has been used before check out, the owner can't explain neither try to provide a sincere apology or solution! His attitude was arrogant and spoke non-sense only! There is no way to communicate with them… The worst service ever!

Honestly best stay at the best price great customer service and cleanliness is exceptional I'll be here time and time Again.

Horrific situation here, this morning… I gave them 100 cash deposit and was told the I needed to pay 100 cash deposit and 100 further with credit card details, then was forcibly told to leave the hotel at 10am. One staff member had stolen the money. I was lied to from staff on several occasions saying that there was full occupancy, the hotel was 3.4 empty most nights. I had to push the manager out of my room while I was half dressed as he entered the room and its been reported to police.

Positive: *The helpful staff member. *Their willingness to change dates when I had to reschedule a couple of times. Negative: *There was only one staff member working at the time. *I had to wait for ten minutes outside reception when I arrived at around 5pm as there was no one there. *There is no elevator. *The first room we went into was for one bedroom when I had booked a two bedroom apartment. There were ants in the room and the bathroom was not cleaned. *The inconvenience of having to call reception to sort things out. E. G. The problems in the first room as well as most of the power points not working in the 2nd room. *Unfortunately I will not be back, therefore I do not reccommend!

I booked an employee here for 5 nights. He left covered from head to toe in bed bug sores. When I asked for a refund, I was told they recently had several complaints of bed bug issues and that they were dealing with it, however they were not prepared to refund me. Beware.

The crockery was wet in the drawer, there was hair in the towel, it smelt like someone had deep fried fish fingers in the room. The tea towel had what look liked dog hair on it. There was no parking left. There was a broccoli floret left in the fridge. There was no hot water. The hallways had bags of dirty laundry until at least 6:30 pm. I have seen better kept brothels. Would not recommend!

Nice place to stay for a short while. Would suggest they give a bit more dishwashing supplies like a washing and drying cloth. Otherwise good. Clean and neat.
