Arrived a little later than hoped to meet my friends, but was still able to order. That's the good bit. Was fairly quiet in there restaurant. So 35 minutes later my steak arrived. For a medium steak it was definitely approaching rare in the middle. Got no apologies on that when I mentioned it to the wait staff that picked up my plate either. I didn't enjoy the mash it came with hugely either. The wait staff was courteous though. Saved this from a 2 star review.

As a vegetarian, I'm used to a limited dinner menu, but this place has virtually nothing! After discussing this with two separate wait staff, I was informed that other people have complained about the exact same problem, but that the chef doesn't care and refuses to update his menu to accommodate vegetarians. As a result, I was forced to have bruschetta and garlic bread for dinner! What my non-vegetarian friends ordered was all swimming in oil and the pasta marinara dish was inedible! You just lost yourself four more paying customers. Perhaps if the chef won't listen, then the owner should! Vegetarianism isn't a rarity anymore — get with the program Dingley Hotel!

It's so good. It was my first visit there but I definitely will go back soon. The staff was so friendly.

Dined at the Bistro on a Wednesday evening. The decor is lovely and modern with a children’s playground outside. Our waiter, Gabby, was an absolute superstar. His customer service skills are sensational. I found him to be very diligent, attentive and accommodating. He was on the ball with organising the kids meals straight away and the food arrived so quickly! The portion sizes were generous, I’m glad I forgot to eat lunch that day! My hot shrimp Parma was yummy. Our family had a very pleasant experience and we will happily dine there again.

Good place friendly staff if anybody hungry can have some great stuff to eat also.

Two extremely horrible experiences within as many weeks. First bad experience involved ordering a meal at 7pm, our child received their meal at 7:20. Awesome, ours is not far away… Nope. Did not receive our food until 7:55pm. After being told multiple times that the meal was 5 minutes away. On top of this, some of it had sat, and the meat was extremely tough, was meant to be medium rare lamb. Disappointing. Management stepped in, gave us a fresh meal as a replacement and then refunded the lamb. Well handed, so we decided to give it another shot. Two nights ago. What a disaster. Wait staff were all friendly and lovely. However the bill at the end of the night, just did not add up. The specials were not updated on the cashier, When I queried them on the bill, they explained it was all ok. As I was walking out, I saw the prices listed again, and grabbed a manager. I then had to spend some time going over the bill and then getting the refunds. What's worse is they knew of the problem and did not bother checking the bill or updating the staff. +1 star for the staff. Gabby is awesome. That's the sole reason you have 2 stars.

Decent venue for young families. All our steaks were over cooked and dry. Slow table service after main orders were taken (it was a busy night).

Went to Dingley International Hotel for dinner. The interior Decor is modern & inviting. We Were greeted within minutes at the foyer desk. The Waitress was super friendly & got us a table, even though we hadn't booked, there were many Reserved tables. Our table waitress came for Drinks order in 5 minutes, followed by another waitress, for our meal order Meals & drinks arrived promptly. We had the Seniors choice, the Soup & T Bone steak was superb. Will go again.

Loved the changes since last visit the enclosed area was great for our lunch plus gorgeous girl serving us as well.

Lovely friendly lady that ive had a few times at the front desk, nothing seems a trouble for her, its clean and the beds are very comfy.

Great atmosphere, fabulous food and the seniors meal spot on. The fish was delish and the dessert yummo. Staff friendly and attentive.

A great place to stay, recently renovated bars and restaurant. Rooms very spacious and currently being upgraded. Happy to stay here when south east of Melbourne.

Wow since the Reno this place is a great place to eat or set fire to your money. So much on the menu. They now have an incredible pizza oven so give one a go.

Great for functions or as a night out for couples or family, wide range on the menu well presented and tastes great too.

Great room, modern and updated bathroom. Love the fact that the rooms are well insulated against outside noise. Check in staff are wonderful, free cut in the room for our boy, nothing seems to be a problem. Our third stay and won't be our last.

Wednesday chicken parma night was pretty excellent. Good variety of ways to do a chicken parma. Service was very nice and came around often.

Great rooms, good facilities, please try environment. If this is where you need to be, the Dingley International strikes me as being a good option.

We went to the restaurant specifically. The place had a nice atmosphere, perfect for eating at and food portions were standard. Overall a nice place and would come by again.

Great location. Heaps of parking available with wheelchair accessible spots as well. Tasty food at the bistro with incredible service. Prices are very reasonable. Very accommodating for kids with a large play area and play equipment connected to the dining area. Flat screen TVs, bar area, lounge and pokie area make this place great. There is also a hotel that has spacious, clean rooms. Business and meeting facilities are also available.

Great restaurant lovely staff.

Great variety of poky machines the only thing that annoyed me was that some of the poky players would reserve machine after machine that they wanted to play and the staff wouldnt go out of their way to check if someone wlse can play it they just accepted the fact that it was reserved and that was it even when l advised thst it wasn't used for over half an hour or so. … l was a visitor come guest they had their favourite clients and looked after them.

Went sunday the 15th menue change very poor slection we were regulars but if is the menue its a poor selection and what we were served was poor and not how it used to be, we were so dissapointed as we usualy go every month but not any more.

Loved the service of the staff, and most of all the delicious food. The Pecking Duck Crepe is one of the best and of course my favorite is the Seafood Linguine.

Went on into the family bistro, got seated viewed menu made selection no service asked girl at desk if we order there as not been before said she would come to us, ordered a drink waited watched staff stand talk seat others not many in our section, finished drinks 20 minutes in got up walked out passed server who thought we where leaving without paying until we pointed out no one came to see us. The one star would have to be for that we where seated quickly as can't rate no stars. Possibly need more than 3 servers as clearly they couldn't handle the four tables with customers totalling 12 people not including us was to much, I'm thankful for deciding to pay for drinks at bar and not charge to table as we may still be there now some 9 hours later. I hope you recognise sarcasm.

We walked in around 5:30pm and there was no one around to greet us or show us to a table. Other people were also wandering around looking for someone to seat them. After about 10 mins a guy appeared and seated us. As the night went on we were asked several times from what seemed like every staff member how our meal was. It was ridiculous how often we kept getting interrupted with this question. The meals were nice abeit a little expensive. The restaurant has been nicely renovated.

Good facilities for a family with small children, good service and food food. Family dining area is kept away from the bar so it was relatively quiet and easy with toddlers.

Luckily for us we took the recommendation from HQ Link to stay at Dingley International Motel. Receptionist Christine is very welcoming and obliging. Our tastefully decorated room was spotlessly clean, comfortable and spacious. Would recommend and would stay again. Thanks.

Was in the Sports Bar with a group of friends on Friday night before going to the Adele Tribute Concert. We ordered our meals & when they came out they were cold and one meal was totally forgotten. When one of the ladies on our table complained that her meal was cold the response from the staff member was "What do you want me to do about it. " Another staff member did offer to replace the meal, however when the replacement meal came out it was also cold and so her money was refunded. Then whilst we were watching the tribute show, several of the ladies on our table became quite ill, having to leave the table several times through the show to go to the toilets. Unfortunately the whole night ended up being very disappointing and I certainly won't be going back in a hurry.

I spend couple of days here. Friendly staff, nice and quite. I stayed here due to work so location was quite convenient to me. Other than that I don't think is the best area to be if you want to visit Melbourne city. Rooms have been renovated but bathroom hasn't, looks old. Heating and cooling system is very noisy, not recommended use it at night. Easy to hear most of the people leaving and coming from close rooms. Fancy restaurant and services.

The Sports Bar is Very Very Good for Meals that are very economical! Service is Great! Dinner starts 6pm Before then there are Free Hot Snacks brought around to the Table! — — — On EVERY Thursdays is KARAOKE! This is Very Entertaining for the night! 8pm — 11pm A good host Rob and assistant Kris! Your chance to have a Sing with regular Karaoke friends! Come along have a nice Dinner, Drinks, Sing and or be Entertained! Smoking / Drinking Eating Outside Area Also! See YOU there.

Stylish upgrade to the interior with a cool modern feel. Great atmosphere and great food. Menu has been kept fairly simple so everyone can find thier favourite pub meals… but cooked to perfection. Pub by name only… not by taste. Outdoor section will be a very cool location for evening drinks once summer comes!

Food was alright, however steak was overcooked. Average service, some drink orders were wrong and water was not provided but the bread was nice. Some dishes are reasonably priced.

Food was nice would recommend.

Most horrible staff ive ever delt with. They are so rude. The place should ne shut down. Pokies staff are wonderful. Its such a shame.

Rude staff! Not helpful but rather scream at you and look down at you. I didn't know where I was going as I was trying to find the bistro. First and last time. Sounds like I didn't miss out on their food as the review shows. Lucky!

Very polite staff and good service. Would stay here again.
