Park is always clean and tidy. Great facilities for kids. Staff are always friendly and itching is too much trouble.

The park public areas and gardens are lovely and the newer cabins look nice however we were unlucky enough to be put in an older “large” family cabin. Very disappointing and not value for money. You can’t fit a family of 4 around the dining table, we chose to shower in the communal facilities because the bathroom was so small and we couldn’t get any consistent water temperature. Kitchen facilities were basic at best and it was hard to hear the TV over the reverse cycle. The jumping pillow was not inflated, playground was disappointing, indoor pool was ok but still quite cold, every other activity was an additional cost. Free Wi-Fi that didn’t work 95% of the time. Previously we’ve been very happy with Big4 but not this time.

Lovely park, staff very friendly and everything for kids to do. We stayed on a ensuite site and did find ensuite needed a really good clean, that was a big negative for us especially in current situation with covid.

A great site for all the different types of families. Small and older children, no children, fur babies etc. The site is nestled next to jubilee park so a river on your door step and beautiful beaches just a short ride away. Amenities on site are great and there is plenty on offer. We would certainly come back here and recommend to our family and friends.

So beautiful & clean. 1st time I have ever been into a caravan park & you do know the toilets have been clean as you can smell it & the seats are down Well done.

We have just come back after a week here. We stayed in a family cabin which was perfect for our family of 4 with a kitchen, fridge and BBQ. The kids had a ball playing on the playground, jumping castle, pool and go karts. All of the staff were so friendly and the park is very clean and well maintained. We have already rebooked for next year!

As a disable elder. I was quite bluntly told there was no way I was aloud to bring a 2nd car "My car" onto our site. I have just had major surgery & find it quite hard to get around on foot. I do understand this rule if the park was full, there is plenty of room on our site. Never been to a big 4 before nice way to find out how they treat there clients. Our site is one of the furthest spots from the car park out the front. Been traveling for years & never been spoken to as I was here. Very Disappointed.

Everyone who works here are amazing! so friendly, helpful and seem to generally want you to enjoy your time there. My family and I originally booked for the budget cabin. We stayed in there for one night but could not do another. I asked if we could upgrade our room which we were able to do straight away with no issues at all. We loved the family cabins, spacious, clean & it had it's own bbq. Great facilities here, my daughter loved the Indoor pool (was raining so we couldn't go outside) I loved the spa and my husband loved games room and the fact it takes two mins to get to the fishing docks. The bikes were awesome and cheap too so that was a bonus. I wish the weather was nice enough for mini golf and tennis though! oh well hopefully next time it's nicer We absolutely loved our getaway and hope to be back some time soon!

Clean rooms and friendly staff.

We recently stayed here and the park was fantastic. Super kid friendly, my kids (4&9) had so much fun in the pool, spa and playground. All the grounds and facilities were well kept. Can’t wait to return in the summer.

This Park is the best Park we have visited. It is dog friendly and has everything that anyone could want in a park. We had a wonderful time checking out the many interesting and fun things to do.

Very happy with our stay here. Good price and very clean, neat facilities. Grounds are immaculent and they are dog friendly (on leash) Beautifully positioned, just a short stroll to the Hopkins River. We stayed here as my husband was asked to work for a couple of days at Deakin, and it is very close. Great for our toddler too — playground and jumping pillow were a real hit. There is also an indoor and outdoor pool and indoor spa. Had to pay for bubbles and could've been warmer, but overall an awesome place to stay.

Great facilities such as a gym, mini golf, games/tv room, heated pool and a big camp kitchen, nice scenery and one of the very few parks around that is well maintained.

Fantastic place to stay! We have 4 Kids and booked a family cabin. So many facilities, indoor pool, water park, jumping pillow and playground. Lovely ground and staff friendly. Can’t wait to come back for a longer period of time. It’s not walking distance to anything but we loved it being quiet and away from main town. Short drive to pub, groceries and shops. Thank you!

This is a lovely little Caravan park with lots to do and activities for the family that rotate daily. The staff are very nice and there are free equipment rentals, too! We even saw a wild koala climb up the tree behind the office one afternoon! We highly recommend this Caravan Park if you're ever holidaying in the Warrnambool area! :)

Very peaceful and beautiful spot. Amenities a bit old but very well looked after.

We were the first guests to stay in their new 3 bedroom luxury villa. It was absolutely fantastic. We shared the place with friends of ours and had a very relaxing Easter trip away for 3 nights. Two rooms with queen beds and a kids room with 4 bunks meant there was plenty of space. Brett and his wife looked after us well and were friendly and helpful throughout. We were missing a lightbulb over the dining table and Brett was over in 5 minutes to have it replaced. The park is all you would expect from a Big4 and more. They had food trucks in the morning with coffee and treats and at night pizza and waffles. A very comfortable stay and we're definitely planning to head back again!

Our second stay at Hopkins Big 4 in 6 months. Being dairy farmers we don't get to get away to many places but why bother when we have this amazing place 40 minutes from home. Friendly staff, well maintained amenities, indoor pool is fantastic and the cabins carry all the comforts of home. Very family friendly park. Thanks big 4 we will definitely be back!

What a gem lovely caravan park heaps for the kids to do. Indoor swimming pool lovely and warm for us older ones Everything very clean. Staff wonderful and very helpful. Will be returning thanks all.

A beautiful spot to holiday or even live. Staff are all wonderful caring people that are a joy to chat with. Appreciate their help & assistance with my mum so much.

Just visited a friend but the facilities were really nice and I would definitely stay here.

Fantastic place to bring the kids. No shortage of things for them to do which is great for the parents. The communal areas are always very clean in fact the barbecues are always in pristine condition as are the toilets. The kitchen area is very well maintained with more convenience than we'd ever expect. On top of that my daughter left some soft toys and the owners located them and posted them to our place and said not to worry about paying for the postage. It's so refreshing to be dealing with such honest people that care so much about their business and customers.

Family friendly has lots of activities to offer. Staff are fantastic. Love coming here annually.

Indoor pool was heated with a spa included. Cabins were small, the double bed room being bigger than the room with four beds in it. Would be a tight squeeze to fit in 6 people plus luggage (& Christmas presents) etc.

Fantastic kids loved it, we went there because of the Kidney bus. My kids loved it, The indoor and out door pool fantastic staff fantastic would recommend to every one. This is one of the best well looked after places and one of the top of the best Big 4s we have been to in NSW and Victoria.

Fantastic service and facilities are up-to date! Heaps of stuff for the kids to do and close to shopping centre.

This is an excellent holiday park that I would reccomend to anyone visiting Warrnambool. The staff were friendly, the indoor heated pool was a little chilly but you get used to it pretty quickly, so it doesn't really matter. The food trucks that visit during the school holidays serve tasty food and some offered kids meals. The free mini golf course was in need of a small amount of maintenance but was still reasonably playable, however there were no scorecards.

Great caravan park. Kids loved it. Enough to keep them happy with the in door and out door pool, games room and out door play area. Would definitely return.

Great Big 4. Enjoyed our time. Very helpful staff. Great facilities.

We have just finished our stay in a 3 bedroom deluxe cabin and it was great, incredibly well presented and very comfortable and we loved having an ensuite! We did miss having a bath in the main bathroom but that was our only real concern. Service was great. Facilities were good and our kids loved the playground and jumping pillow. Pool was too cold for us but spa was perfect! One suggestion — would be great if you had milk frothers / heaters to go with the map coffee machines. Overall we enjoyed our stay and would recommend this as a great place to stay for a family. Ps the individual bbq's for the cabins are great. Wish others followed your lead!

Stayed on a powered site with my daughter on a fishing weekend (she is 3 & loves spending time in my kayak). Sites was large, shaded & well grassed. Access to the river was perfect, as were the facilities. If you have kids, this place is great as it gives them pools, slides & other fun kid stuff and quality fish literally right outside the park.
On top of this, my electronic key broke for my car, meaning my car was stuck on the site for a week while the parts came from the dealer. No extra cost, just an offer to help & advice on the locksmith to use.

Excellent park with the best amenities and staff. Nothing too much bother very helpful. Coming back in September.

Great location, the river is spectacular. The kids had a ball catching Bream. Friendly staff and generous sites. Very happy memories.

Last time we were here it was quiet peaceful with excellent facilities. This time it was very busy being Victoria's school holidays — How surprised I was the children had so much to do they were happy the buzz was lovely and the facilities kept immaculate well done Hopkins River.

We spent 5 nights at the hopkins river caravan park. It is a great park, everything excellent. The sites, & facilities. The staff are very pleasant. I spoke to residents who have lived in the park for 5 years, & they are very settled, & not going anywhere. I look forward to visiting Warrnambool again. It is a very appealing city.

Wonderful caravan park where the staff are happy to be here. Large green sites with modern toilet block facilities. It even had a gym, indoor pool, spa (cost) and outdoor pool with slide and waterfall. The camp kitchen was great, just like home. There are a lot of on sites but they look modern and are very separate. We stayed here off peak where it was very quiet and had the place to ourselves. Great fishing just outside the park. The train was a bit noisy and it's a shame the jumping pillow had no shade and wasn't fully pumped up — obviously temporary broken for our stay. Great roadways for the kids to ride bikes on. Only a toddler playground but lots of space. It's no wonder this place was recommended to me and it's well known. It's out of town which makes it quieter also. The only complaint was having dogs in the park, some where noisy at times.

Apart from the inclement Victorian weather another wonderful stay.

Good sized campsite, clean facilities and heaps of extras eg. Mini golf. Relatively cheap as well.

Good park, nice and clean. A pity we where so far from the toilets and showers.

Campsite was nice — however the unpowered site we had was pretty small. We only have a 6 person tent — but didnt havent space to park alongside the tent, so had to park across the end of our pitch on the road. However that did give us enough space to put the chairs at the side of the tent :) Pet friendly, and there were a number of dogs, yet the owners kept them pretty quiet during the night, so that wasnt an issue.
