I have never in my life encounted such judgemental, disgusting people! majority of ppl housed in these cabins are here because they have nowhere else to go, due to the housing crisis in bendigo! they are down and out on there luck for one reason or another… not only are these ppl exstorted for 90% of thier income, leaving barely anything for food etc they then have to deal with verbally abusive, judgemental, rude and inappropriate management but they feel as though they cannot defend themselves as they have nowhere else to go. Today we filed a discrimination case with the department of fair trading, as management had called the police (for an undisclosed reason) because my partner accidentally walked our dog through a neighbouring property (he is not from bendigo and there are no signs stating that he was on private property etc) and due to hes "rough" appearance they have assumed he was doing something illegal!? wow! we were asked to leave (with nowhere to go) with 2 kids, a dog, 1 cat, 3 kittens and no working vehicle a week b4 xmas due to my 16yo daughter, who suffers from severe mental health issues had an episode! they act as though they are doing these ppl a favour etc when all they are doing is robbing them blind then leaving them homeless again. Besides that… they are running out of cabins to rent as management is filling up the cabins with her own family members!
Really enjoyed my short stay here. Would definitely stay again if in the area again. Highly recommended.
