Great hotel. Excellent rooms. Spacious and convenient. The outdoor stairwell is a little precarious at night if this is your first stay and you're unacquainted with them.

Fantastic central location. 'Rong' from reception made me feel very welcome after a long flight. Comfortable spacious room. All you could want. Recommended.

An older establishment, has well appointed rooms. Had a large room for disabled, perfect. Clean, functional.

Wonderful accommodation, clean and attractive rooms, friendly staff, room service ^ a quiet area. Would definitely stay here again.

Food is delicious, fair pricing, amazing staff.

Waited an hour for our food, all five meals on the table were aweful. Chips were nice. Service not amazing either. No one seemed to know what was going on.

Stayed 4 nights recently. Great location and within walking distance to town and station. The pub next door had cheap and cheerful food which was convenient after a long day. Well appointed and clean rooms. Very comfortable. Looks to be a family business. Rong was friendly and helpful.

Was worried when we arrived at 12.30 and restaurant was mostly empty however Staff/service was great and my outback bbq parma was fantastic — really yum!

Great food. Nice atmosphere. Meet up wth friends for catch up. An ideal place to do that. Great breakfast and $15.00 lunch menus.

Great rooms. Have stayed here several times while on business trips to Ballarat. It’s the best place I’ve stayed in Ballarat too. If you are looking for somewhere to stay for work I can recommend Seymour’s. The restaurant service and food is excellent. Above par for a pub food.

We were very welcomed here, Angela was superb and her customer service was fantastic. The room was very clean with a fully equipped kitchen. Had a very comfortable stay!

Nice clean pub, friendly staff, great food.

Good service, very accommodating as we arrived in a large group unannounced. Food was good pub grub and the beer was cold.

The staff at Seymour's where amazing seated by the fire food was fantastic coffee was amazing staff very professional our waitresses was training a new staff member she showed real leadership cool and calm.

The atmosphere was great the staff are fantastic and the food was to die for and they make pretty good coffee too.

Good location, very close to the centre of town. Fairly clean and accessible. Minor issues: Coffee/Tea but no kettle, paint peeling in bathroom.

Nice rooms, great cheap price. Heard some people banging in the next room over, didn't get stabbed.

We stayed here for 3 nights last week, we had 4 rooms for our family and friends. Clean rooms, bathrooms and interior of the rooms are very nice. Friendly staff, they were always happy to assist. Plenty of car parking space, there are TVs in the bathroom, we had couple of spa rooms. Ideal for family holidays, will recommend. 6 stars! Will use them again.

I went to Seymours on Lydiard for a friends birthday and it was very disappointing. There was a very noisy group on the balcony, as well as people smoking in the covered section of the balcony. The food was average, some of it burnt and our order got mixed up. Then when we walked outside a woman was throwing up just outside the door. I will not be going back there anytime soon.

Had the Calamari salad — fabulous — service was great too.

The worst Chicken Parma's I've ever had. Very poor chips and salad. Over priced.

Great room. Stayed in the deluxe spa room was excellent and great price. Staff were helpful and friendly. Only had one tiny issue but other than than that would def go back there.

Great location, beautiful rooms and 5 star service. Seymour's is the perfect place to stay while in Ballarat.

Have not had a good experiences since new management. Continued to recommend the place based on past experience, but have been embarassed by consistent unsubstantiated overcharging and arrogant defence of this practice and a degraded quality of service. Have had enough by far and will not return to this place.
