Setting is great, amenities are fantastic. Unfortunately unless you're asleep by 10pm expect a visit by the fun police, even if you're having a quiet (and I DO mean quiet) conversation. No camp fires, no tents, no pegs to hold down your awning, pretty much no to anything. Won't be returning.

Best caravan park I’ve seen in a long time. Large sites, fabulous clean amenities block, great kitchen and lounge. Right next to a beautiful beach. I went for a walk up to the headlands and had spectacular views over to Freycinet National Park. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Will definitely return.

Great staff and efficient. Very, very clean and tidy, lovely caravan sites with grassed areas. Very central to explore the area.
The beach ia a 30 second walk.
A great dog friendly park, 2 minute walk to an off leash area for dogs. An area for small and older dogs and another area for the bigger and more active dogs. Both areas with fresh water on tap and a seat for owners to enjoy the sea views. A gem of of a caravan park.

Stayed in a cabin, very modern and clean, extremely friendly staff, very close to the beach — will be back for sure :)

What a gem of a place… lovely park with great facilities… camp kitchen… covered bbq area and a herb garden for all to use… close to beach and a easy stroll into town… a credit to the owners… well done and at only $35pn with p & w… lovely grassy sites…

Amazing family friendly park! Our kids lovd it as much as we do! So close to the beach and to everything else you might need! We love that the family that owns the park is so aware of what families need and that they ensure all kids are safe wearing their helmets! Bathrooms are so beautifully clean, where else would we want to be!

Friendly staff, great access to the beach. Our cabine did not received Wi-Fi though. Provided everything to handle the cold.

We stayed overnight in a motorhome last night. The manager was very friendly at check in, full of knowledge of the area and just a friendly guy. The park was great. Everything was clean, the bathrooms had a heater which was nice to have on these cold winters days. The kitchen was great. Lounges to relax on while watching some TV and it was warm!
We have stopped at a lot of caravan parks on this trip and I highly recommend Swansea. So affordable and a great spot. Loved it.

This is now one of the nicest parks on the East Coast. Lovely sites, great owners and friendly staff. We will certainly be back here again.

A wonderful caravan park. Beautiful aminaties, big sites & close walk to the beach. A must place to stop when in Swansea.

A very quiet area. Not a large breach. Good place if like sunbathing but not much other activitiesactivities.

Great park. Generous sites, good enclosed bbq area and a great camp kitchen with lounges, dining tables, couches and TV. Good laundry. Amenities are older but clean and tidy. Close to beach and walking track around the headland. Great views of Freycinet National Park. Only 7 mins walk to main shops and cafes. Cost for RV is quite fair.

Fantastic cabins for those of us who don't have caravans, and plenty of space for those who do. Any the hosts, Peter and Janelle, are fabulous, friendly and professional. Highly recommend!

My husband and I are returning to the USA after a month traveling all around Tasmania. We hired a campervan and stayed at about 12 holiday parks. Our favorite was Swansea Holiday park. It was within earshot of the coastal waves. The receptionist was exceptionally friendly and informative. The grounds and amenities were very neat and clean. We were so glad we stopped there.

Good location. Ok accommodation in a small and expensive cabin. However — good heating in the cold and all facilities worked, so that's something.

Comfortable and quiet park on the eastern side of town, a very short walk to the beach, and short walk to town. The cabin had everything I needed, and was clean and comfy. Checkin was quick, friendly and helpful.

Very disappointed, not kid friendly, booked and paid in full 2 months ago, checked in today expecting a cabin that was advertised on their website. The cabin was a disgrace, looked like and old asbestos covered cool room panel shed. Checked out 15 min later and went somewhere else.

Booked and paid in full 6 months in advance staff in reception very friendly. We were shown to a tiny cabin no air conditioning and a very strong smell of fresh paint. Temperature was 36 degrees and I returned to reception and informed the owner we could not stay in that unit. I requesteda refund of 810.00 dollars the lady informed me she would have to consider my request. Eventually she repaid the amount after a half hour in the air conditioned office. The worst experience we have ever had in 5 years of booking cabins.

Cabins are very small but overall was a nice stay. About a 10 minute walk from the town though. Staff were very friendly and helpful, amenities were good.

Would have been a lovely spot before the housing development located between the park and the water. Alas, the view from the powered sites is now a fence, and will soon be a house. Facilities are good, nice common room, clean bathrooms.

This is the 4th time we've been back and that's for good reason. Love it more each time. Helpful, friendly staff that go out of their way to make sure everything is just right for your stay. Everything you could need when you are away from home to be comfortable and close to beach, shops & cafes. What more can you need for a lovely getaway & great base to explore the East Coast? Can't wait to return!

For what it is (a trailer park, essentially) it's quite good. It's the only place around Freycinet that wasn't completely booked weeks ahead. Right over a beautiful beach — sound of the waves crashing as you sleep.

The sea was great nice for one night.

Overall it's very good. Especially for young kids. My only dislike are the combination code locks on the toilet and showers. My 4 year old peed herself as she was trying to access the toilet. Couldn't remember the 6 digit code and couldn't reach the door handle. But generally the place is nice to stay and enjoy the beach.
