Enjoyed our stay very much. Lena and Philip looked after us really well and encouraged to enjoy the surrounding sights. Brockley Estate is an interesting bit of colonial history and worth considering as part of your Tasmanian holiday.

Such an amazing place… we had 32 people here for a 70th birthday. Private, quiet, very comfortable… and a great place for a family get together, luxury getaway or corporate meeting/think tank.

What an amazing stopover on our journey around Tasmania. Such an historic homestead with not only all the comforts of home but an atmosphere that transports you back in time. If ever we're back this way again I will make sure this lovely B&B is on our itinerary. Vickie and Joseph were amazing hosts and very friendly. Highly recommended if ever you're in this neck of the woods between Buckland and Orford.

Thank you Chaxi and Julien for a lovely weekend at Brockley Estate! Beautiful property, the warmest welcome, delicious gourmet food and wine and plenty of great dinner conversation with other guests! Everything has been thought of and catered for — right down to the luxury bathroom products! Breakfasts are truly epic — especially the farm eggs, local bacon and amazing home made yogurt. I have already recommended a weekend at Brockley as an absolute must to visiting friends, and will certainly be back again in the future myself! Gracias!

Brockley pence a secluded hotel in the east coast town of Buckland, the environment is quiet, there are a lot of livestock farms outside. Accommodation rooms are clean and comfortable, guests can share a living room and a library, and there is a transparent outdoor space to open. The host is very kind, and if you ask them about tower information, they are willing to tell you! The breakfast was very attentive and the waiter was very friendly. Like relaxing at home.

For a wonderful relaxing time in a quiet but central location an hours north of Hobart you couldn't find a better place to stay. We spent three nights in the wonderful home of Julian and Chaxi, enjoyed a Spanish cooking class, wonderful home made breakfasts with amazing locally sourced produce, and all with some superb service from our hosts. Julian and Chaxi — thank you again for making our little getaway a truly memorable experience, we've been telling your story to everyone we know!

Brockley Estate is an absolute treasure on the East Coast of Tasmania. Featuring authentic Spanish cuisine using only the best locally sourced ingredients the food is to die for. I love Chaxi's seafood paella with Spring Bay mussels from just up the road and saffron grown in Buckland. Brockley is a must on any visit to the East Coast and will make you want to just stop for a while. There's a reason Chaxi has hosted many famous Australian chefs.

We stayed for three nights and were extremely happy with the place. The hosts are kind, thoughtful and helpful whilst also giving the guests a free rein of the house, seemingly materialising immediately as I thought of something to ask or when dinner was to be prepared. To speak of which, the dinner is highly recommended which is a godsend given the scant selection of restaurants within perhaps fifty kilometres — Spanish themes prevail with multiple courses (and a marvellously stocked wine cellar) combining to give absolute contentment before retiring. Complete with ten thousand acres of land, the estate is extensive and sprawling — giving the guest a wonderful feeling of seclusion even while in comfortable driving range of such excellent sights as Maria Island and Freycinet peninsula. Very well recommended.

Highly recommended. Very pleasant stay. Would definitely stay again. The large bedroom is luxurious and cosy when the fire is crackling in the hearth.
